00:17Almost 120 countries were united in Earth Hour on Saturday night.

00:22It is an hour of killing light from 8.30pm to 9.30pm.

00:27It is an awareness against climate change and nature loss.

00:31One city hosted the event for Earth Hour 2025.

00:35Along with killing light, floating lotus candles were lit as a symbol of hope and sustainability.

00:42This is to raise awareness on the effect of climate change on us.

00:46We only have one planet and that is Earth.

00:50The floating lotus candles were cooked on top of water that contains 60 or 60 minutes of killing light for Earth Hour.

00:59Stage performers used LED and glowing lights in Quezon City.

01:06Students in QC watched the show for Earth Hour.

01:12The brighter and greener future is far away.

01:17In Cagayan de Oro, Earth Hour was hosted by cycling.

01:22Aside from saving energy by killing light,

01:26they also helped the environment by reducing carbon emissions by cycling.

01:31Skaters and runners were also there on occasion.

01:35After Earth Hour was held in different parts of the country,

01:39President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. gave a message of support.

01:43The President of Earth Hour is a symbol of hope despite the challenges of climate change.

01:49According to the President, we have the ability to make positive changes.

01:54The Worldwide Fund for Nature Philippines prioritized the hosting of Earth Hour 2025 in the country.

02:00Because of Earth Hour, we gave 3 million hours to the planet.

02:04That's more than double than 1.4 million in 2024.
