00:00And beyond elections, our task is also to build community.
00:06I'm talking about block associations, volunteer groups, causes around you.
00:12That is the connective tissue because community is the most powerful building block we have
00:18to defeat authoritarianism and root out the corruption in the White House.
00:23But I'll end where I began.
00:29We might all come from different places, but we share a lot of the same experiences.
00:35So to all those who came here today unsure of whether or not this is where you belong,
00:42I want to say that you do.
00:44You do belong.
00:46No matter who you voted for, no matter if you know all the right words to say,
00:51no matter your race, religion, gender identity, or status,
00:57no matter even if you disagree with me on a bunch of things,
01:00but if you are willing to fight for someone you don't know,
01:05you are welcome here.
01:10If you are willing to fight for the working class regardless of who they are,
01:15how they identify, or where they come from, you are welcome here.
01:22Here, everyone is valued.
01:26But I will say this.
01:29Those leaders on either side of the aisle who are willing to put their fellow Americans down
01:36so that they can get ahead or feel better about themselves,
01:40they may best find a home somewhere else.
01:43Because in this house, we stand together.
01:47Because here, we know that together, without exception, is the only way that we can win.
01:54So no matter how you identify or what you believe,
01:58especially out here, if you're a trans kid or a family of a trans kid,
02:03an LGBT family,
02:07we can't put you on the other side of the line.
02:10In fact, we can't win without you.
02:14And I want you to know that the world needs you.
02:21And I hope you see this movement is not about partisan labels or purity tests.
02:27It's about class solidarity.
02:30The thousands of people who came out here today to stand here together
02:35and say our lives deserve dignity and our work deserves respect.
02:41No matter where we are or where we come from.
02:44And we are here to make a sacred promise to each other and to kids like Bryce.
02:53And that promise is to take care of each other on our worst days
02:57and to share in the successes of our best.
