00:00I mean, when it comes to operating as a humanitarian worker in Gaza, I mean, just how dangerous
00:08is it?
00:09I mean, you've already mentioned the fact that so many people have been killed during
00:12this last year and a half or so.
00:14I mean, is anything done to protect them?
00:16Gaza has become very, very fast, one of the most dangerous places in the world for humanitarian
00:25workers.
00:27If you look at the death toll, that speaks for itself, really.
00:33The loss has been huge for the United Nations.
00:38First and foremost, the dear colleagues that we continue to lose day in, day out.
00:43We've had a respite, obviously, during the ceasefire for a couple of months.
00:49But during wartime, we lose team members every single day.
00:55Just overnight, since the bombardment resumed in Gaza, we've lost an additional three colleagues
01:04at least.
01:05And this is what was accounted for.
01:08We could verify the numbers might be even higher.
