00:00But just to pick up on what you were saying with regards to the humanitarian aid, I mean,
00:04it's been, what, nearly three weeks, hasn't it, since any humanitarian aid has been allowed
00:08in.
00:09And I'm just wondering, how do people survive?
00:11What are you hearing?
00:12I don't think they are surviving, Michael.
00:13That's the problem.
00:15So the Israelis closed off the crossing point on March the 2nd.
00:20And I want to be very clear here.
00:21This isn't Israel that's providing aid.
00:23This is the world that's providing aid.
00:25And Israel is simply not allowing it in.
00:27And so since March the 2nd, Israel hasn't allowed in any aid whatsoever, which means
00:32that there's no fuel, there's no electricity, there's no places to get clean water, and
00:39there's no food.
00:41People are reporting mass malnutrition, particularly amongst children.
00:46And as you know, after 18 months, or nearly 18 months, of genocide, in which Israel has
00:52been targeting virtually every hospital, you can see that the health care system is also
00:57dilapidated.
00:58So we're seeing that in addition to the numbers of people that Israel is directly targeting
01:03and killing through its bombs, that others are dying as well, because they're not simply
01:08able to get the aid that the international world, that the world has sent to Gaza, but
01:14that Israel is preventing from getting in.
