00:00A driver of a pickup truck was killed after he was shot by a driver of a closed van

00:04that he saw on a road in Quezon City.

00:07The suspect, who is a police officer, gave up.

00:15A pickup truck hit this part of Tandasora Avenue in Barangay Old Balara, Quezon City

00:20around 6.30 p.m. last night.

00:22The 42-year-old man who was the driver of the pickup truck was shot.

00:27He was rushed to the hospital but his finger was declared as a rival.

00:30He was also shot alongside a 51-year-old man.

00:34His condition in the hospital is critical according to his relatives.

00:37Five people were in the pickup truck that came from Antipolo

00:40and were supposed to go home to Marilao, Bulacan.

00:42According to one of the survivors,

00:44they were driving through Tandasora Avenue

00:46when suddenly a closed van approached them.

00:49When it hit us, our angry driver also hit us a little.

00:54We were able to move forward a little

00:57and when it hit us, the driver got out of the vehicle.

01:00Our driver did not get out of the vehicle.

01:03The driver of the closed van approached them

01:06and that's when the accident happened.

01:11He was carrying a gun and he was shot.

01:14He was not able to escape.

01:16He was almost out of bullets.

01:18After the incident, the driver of the closed van

01:21was taken to Batasan Police Station for trial.

01:23The 48-year-old man is the suspect.

01:26He was identified by a police officer

01:28who has a rank of Police Executive Master Sergeant or PEMS.

01:31He is really in Batasan Police Station.

01:34The suspect was turned over to the Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit or CIDU in Camp Karingan.

01:39He should be jailed.

01:41That's why it's scary now.
