The Riuh Raya Kita 2025 festival, which showcases local products and designs under one roof in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidilfitri is expected to generate over RM1.3mil in total sales.

Deputy Communications Minister Teo Nie Ching said this projection is based on the anticipated 60,000 visitors expected to attend the five-day festival, organised by MyCreative Venture with the support of the Communications Ministry.

00:00The Rio Raya Kita 2025 Festival is bringing local products and designs together under
00:08one roof in celebration of Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
00:11With an expected turnout of 60,000 visitors, this five-day event, organized by MyCreativeVentures
00:17and supported by the Communications Ministry, aims to generate over 1.3 million ringgit
00:22in sales.
00:23Deputy Communications Minister Teo Kniching attended the festival, where she delivered
00:28donations under the Budi Seni program to beloved veteran artists.
00:56Veteran artists included singers Shima and Zaiton Samion, as well as actresses Margaret
01:00Gahan and Maimouna Ahmad, affectionately known as Makja.
01:04Each received 2,000 ringgit in cash and 1,500 ringgit in vouchers for shopping at the over
01:1080 local vendor booths, featuring clothes, accessories, bags, perfumes and home decor.
01:18Festival attendees can also enjoy a vibrant lineup of 23 stage performances and participate
01:24in nine creative workshops, covering everything from car calligraphy and ketupat weaving to
01:29traditional kompang drumming and DIY Raya money packets.
01:32Everyone has to come to Rio Raya Kita, number one, because this is the first time ever that
01:37we are doing it outside of Sentul Depot.
01:41We are here in TRX, Rintu Plaza TRX, and this is also the very first time that we extend
01:46our days of operations.
01:48Before this, we always do Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
01:50So this time around, we do five days, Wednesday all the way to Sunday.
01:53We also extended our operating hours.
01:56Before this, we start at 3 p.m. and we finish at 12.
01:59This time around, we extend it until 2 a.m.
02:01So it gives visitors more time to come over, they don't have to rush, and they can stay
02:05here to buy sahur food, and then they can go back.
02:10Visitors are encouraged to use the MRT, with convenient access at the Tun Razak Exchange
02:14Station.
02:15So come on over to Rio Raya Kita from 19 to 23 of March, 2025, from 3 p.m. to 2 a.m.
