00:22alias Muhammad Saim issued the order during a case mention on Thursday.
00:27The court approved the defense's request for a one-month psychiatric assessment, with
00:32the report to be presented on April 18.
00:35Dianesh is charged with causing the death of his 77-year-old mother, Catherine Daniel,
00:40at a house in Taman OUG, Brickfields, between March 21 and 26, 2021.
00:47He faces charges under Section 302 of the Penal Code, which carries the death penalty
00:54or imprisonment of 30 to 40 years, along with up to 12 strokes of the cane, upon conviction.
