01:38on imported pork

01:40so that market forces can use imported pork

01:42to lower the price of local pork.

01:44As a government intervention,

01:48the direct purchase of pork

01:50and to sell it for P8

01:52for a reasonable price of pork.

01:54Meanwhile,

01:55according to Pork Producers Federation of the Philippines,

01:58pork should be vaccinated against ASF

02:02because it can rise again

02:04in the rain if it is not vaccinated.

02:06I hope that on April 1,

02:08they promised to the Quinta Committee

02:11that we will have

02:13commercial use of vaccine against ASF.

02:16I hope they will fulfill that

02:18because that is the only way

02:20to improve the price of pork

02:22because ASF will not affect

02:26The number of barangays affected

02:30According to the DA Bureau of Animal Industry

02:37the number of barangays in red zones

02:39or those with active ASF cases

02:41is decreasing to 66.

02:43A large part of those

02:45are in the central zone,

02:47while in Virac and Tuanis,

02:49there are a lot of red zones

02:51in the 8 barangays.
