00:00One of the things that will be done today is the 2025 Road Safety Summit.

00:04What are the things that we should look forward to in this gathering?

00:14Audrey, five children are being killed every day in accidents on the roads.

00:19This will be addressed in the 2025 Road Safety Summit.

00:23The Philippine Road Safety Action Plan is also being discussed.

00:30The United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund, or UNICEF, is the head of the Department of Health.

00:37This is the 2025 Road Safety Summit.

00:40This is to address the need for joint efforts to address the accidents on the roads that children are involved in.

00:49This is an important issue for the public's well-being.

00:52One of the most anticipated parts of the summit is the plenary session where the following issues will be discussed.

00:59Global Burden of Road Safety and Child Road Traffic Injuries.

01:03An investigation into the extent of the effects of accidents on the roads of the Philippines.

01:08Philippine Road Safety Action Plan.

01:11There will also be a panel discussion on the Road Traffic Injury Prevention Challenges and Actions

01:18using the three Es, or Enforcement, Engineering, and Education, which have an effect on health.

01:26There will also be a panel discussion on Understanding the Safety of Vulnerable Road Users.

01:33Building on Local Best Practices for Scale-Up.

01:36DOH Secretary Teodoro Herbosa is expected to attend the summit.

01:41Department of Transportation Secretary Vince Dizon.

01:44Department of Public Works and Highways Secretary Manuel Bonoan.

01:47And Department of Education Secretary Juan Edgardo Sani Angara.

01:52The organizations from the World Health Organization and UNICEF will also provide support

01:57to share their knowledge and experiences for the safety of children on the roads.
