00:00Now, let's find out the story of the owner of a ramen restaurant and how he succeeded in all the trials from the start of the business
00:09until the establishment of a successful ramen house.
00:12Let's take a look here at Negosyo Tayo.
00:20Good morning, Ka-Negosyo. With me is Ms. Anne Malamo, sushi and ramen business owner.
00:26I'm very excited to know more about your business.
00:29You cater for ramen and sushi. So, tell us more about your business.
00:34The business was started in 2015.
00:37One of the owners is a Japanese.
00:39Guaranteed, authentic Japanese recipes are served.
00:43So, do you really believe that this will be popular here in the Philippines?
00:48Will we be able to capture the hearts of Filipinos?
00:51Did you adjust to the palate of Filipinos?
00:54There's a slight adjustment, ma'am.
00:56But the authenticity of the Japanese cuisine is still there.
01:01And now, you're also into franchising. Can you tell us more about the franchising side?
01:06To launch franchising, we are offering it at Php 500,000.
01:11The inclusion is use of the system, use of trademark, and then intensive training.
01:21Providing menu and operations manual is also included.
01:26But that's for the first five franchises. Currently, we have three.
01:31What is the advantage when it comes to franchising business?
01:35The advantage of franchising is to plug and play.
01:39So, we will help them find locations.
01:44Set up, the system is already ready.
01:48The training is already provided to us.
01:50The menu and services are already provided.
01:52We will just operate, ma'am.
01:55That's all we will do.
01:57And few construction, depending on the leasehold improvement.
02:01There's a location that they can choose.
02:03Some people are afraid of franchising.
02:05They're thinking that the capital they need to spend might be high.
02:09So, it's a nice thing that you explained that when they do franchising,
02:13it's a great advantage for them
02:15because they just need to operate the business.
02:17And everything is already handed over to them.
02:19That this is the system to help them until they can start.
02:24Ms. Anne, why is it important to do business?
02:26And to enter into what you said, you have franchising, you have restaurant business.
02:31It's also wisdom and learning for Filipinos.
02:34What is the importance?
02:37Because when you do business and invest in one thing,
02:42you're more all out.
02:44It's better to work for yourself than to work for other people.
02:53If you're the one who has a business,
02:56you're not the only one to think about it.
02:58As well as the people who are also working for you.
03:04You learn more from failure than success.
03:07So, don't be afraid to fail.
03:09What's important is that you learned something.
03:11That's the lesson that the business owner Ms. Anne Malamo taught us.
03:16That we should remember.
03:18We will share more business stories and business tips with you next time.
03:23So, let's go! Let's do business!
