00:00Oh, let's go to the phones.
00:02I'm getting a signal.
00:03We should go to the phones.
00:04Okay, let's, we got J.J. Green on the line from WTOP.
00:09Hey, Sean, thank you for doing this.
00:12A question about Ukraine.
00:15Can you assess how the U.S. military, assess the status of U.S. military aid to Ukraine
00:22and the intelligence sharing, how that's going since it was disrupted a few, maybe a week
00:28or so ago and then restarted?
00:32What's being shared?
00:33What's being given?
00:35What's happening with that?
00:36Well, I can tell you that U.S. military aid to Ukraine has been turned back on, as well
00:43as intelligence sharing with our Ukrainian partners.
00:47But I'll tell you this, the president has been very clear since his time on the campaign
00:52trail that his focus with the war in Ukraine is bringing about peace and putting a distinct
00:59focus on peace, and really to stop the dying.
01:04And so President Trump, along with his national security team, have been heavily involved
01:09in, along with Secretary Hagseth as well, heavily involved with Ukraine and Russia to
01:13try to broker that peace, understanding that there will likely be difficult conversations
01:19to be had on both sides when you're talking about, you know, the release of hostages,
01:24when you're talking about potential ceasefire agreements, when you're talking about territory.
01:30As someone who's negotiated with some tough people on the battlefield, I can tell you
01:34it's a tough, imperfect, nuanced, and complicated process.
01:38And President Trump and Secretary Hagseth certainly understand that, with on the forefront
01:42of their mind, peace as their first and foremost priority.
01:46General, do you have anything to add?
01:48No, I would just echo what you said, sir, which is, yeah, the status of U.S. military
01:51aid, it has been turned back on.
01:53We've got confirmed reports that it is continuing or is flowing back into Ukraine, and of course
01:59daily reports on the outcome of the intelligence sharing and those efforts.
02:02So all of that is as it was previously.
02:05So we've – I'm going to stick with the phones here just a second.
