00:00But Sean, if the Iranian ships are operational
00:02and start helping the Houthis, will they be targeted?
00:05And for the general, any sense of a number
00:10of military casualties so far
00:11and any civilian casualties in Yemen?
00:14Well, that's a great question, General.
00:17You'll permit me to answer it?
00:18Sure, go ahead.
00:19So, I think that I certainly don't want to get out
00:21in front of the Commander-in-Chief and the Secretary
00:23as it pertains to clearance of strikes
00:25and who will be targeted,
00:27but I think the President's made very clear
00:30that all options are on the table.
00:33Yeah, Tom, just on your question of casualties,
00:36military casualties, we have some initial estimates.
00:39I hesitate to say what they are
00:41because they're very much estimates at this point,
00:44but I think in terms of dozens
00:46might be a safe overall characterization.
00:49Dozens of military?
00:49Yeah, dozens of military casualties so far,
00:52but I really can't characterize it much better
00:54than that at this point.
00:55We'll learn more as we go.
00:56On the civilian casualty side,
00:58no indications of any civilian casualties.
01:00We, of course, have seen some of the accusations
01:01by the Houthis.
01:02We look at those closely when they do come in,
01:05but we have no credible indications
01:06of any civilian casualties.
01:08You know, and I'd like to add to what General Grinch said.
01:11Anytime you're close to an operation like this,
01:13having been in combat front towards enemy before,
01:17the fog of war is a real thing.
01:19So, before we announce something here from the podium,
01:23we're gonna make sure that we get it right,
01:24and I think part of that is just taking the time
01:27to evaluate and doing a proper battle damage,
01:30BDA, battle damage assessment, sensitive site exploitation,
01:34and frankly, that stuff just takes time.
01:36And so, before we make any sort of those announcements,
01:39like, we're gonna do a real hard look
01:40and make sure that we get it right
01:41before we announce it to you.
