00:16The Commission on Elections has successfully printed the ballots to be used for the Hatol
00:21ng Bayan 2025. This despite the unexpected order by the Supreme Court to halt the printing process
00:28last January. According to Kamalek, as a matter of fact, they are 10 days ahead
00:33of schedule on their supposed target of March 25.
00:52In total, the Kamalek, NPO, and Miro Systems Company Limited
00:56have printed over 68 million and a half ballots. This was supposed to be 71 million but Kamalek
01:03did not print the ballots for the parliamentary elections in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region
01:08in Muslim Mindanao or BARM. The Kamalek believes the NPO had a big role in their success.
01:26The ballots will still undergo verification. Once the ballot is declared effective,
01:43it will automatically be reprinted. The verification process stands
01:47at 50 percent and the Kamalek targets to finish all printing by April.
01:57The NPO and HP printers reprint the ballots on the same day as they are supposed to reprint
02:09the ballots the day before. The verification process will end on April 20 to 21.
