00:44Hello and welcome to From the South, I'm Luis Alberto Matos from Televisa Studios
00:48in Caracas, Venezuela.
00:50We begin with the news.
01:08In Lebanon, the Israeli regime continues to attack the territory as part of its expansionist
01:12plans in the region and in flagrant violation of the ceasefire agreement.
01:16According to Lebanese authorities, the Israeli air forces carried out bombing raids near
01:20the cities of Baalbek and Janta, located in the border area with Syria in the east of
01:25the country.
01:26Zero-defense teams report no casualties nor significant damage.
01:30Since the beginning of the conflict, these colonialist forces repeatedly crossed the
01:34blue line illegally, carrying out combats in several localities of the country, seriously
01:38disrespecting international law and the sovereignty of the countries.
01:49And around 10,000 Syrians have crossed the border into Lebanon to escape the massacres
01:54promoted by the de facto government, which includes several leaders of the terrorist
01:57group al-Qaeda.
01:58The Lebanese authorities have reported that almost 10,000 Syrians have arrived in Accar
02:03in the north of the country.
02:05The outbreak of violence that has ravaged the Syrian coast for a week and a half has
02:09left more than 1,400 dead, most of them members of the Alawite minority.
02:24An Arab nation's call on states and organizations to take strong action against the Libyph after
02:29the United Nations' fact-finding mission to the occupied territories concluded that
02:33Israel committed genocidal acts through the systematic destruction of sexual and productive
02:38health facilities.
02:39The Euromaidan Observatory for Human Rights assures that after this report, the Commission
02:44should call on states and organizations to force Israel to comply with these responsibilities
02:49under the Genocide Convention.
02:51They emphasize that inaction in the face of the crimes of the occupation has contributed
02:55directly and indirectly to the ongoing genocide.
02:58The mission's report is conclusive about the crimes of the occupation.
03:14And in Russia, Krasnodar Governor Benjamin Kondratiev reported a Ukrainian attack on
03:20the Tuapse oil complex.
03:22The governor explained that after the Ukrainian armed forces' attack, a fire of more than
03:26a thousand square meters spread in a petrol tank of the complex.
03:30On Telegram, Kondratiev added that the attack did not leave any fatalities and that at the
03:34moment 121 people are involved in extinguishing the flames.

04:16and proposed opening a daily flight between both capitals to facilitate trading.

04:25of Sahel States during the institution's first summit, July 6, 2024.
04:30Since January 29, the three states are no longer ECOWAS members and describe the regional
04:35bloc as a tool of former colonial powers.
04:43And in Canada, the new leader of the Liberal Party, Mark Carney, will take office as Prime
04:48Minister on Friday.

06:06He also proposed sending troops to the island and has denied that it truly belongs to Denmark.
06:12Last Tuesday, Greenland celebrated elections in a period of high tensions after President
06:16Trump began claiming weeks ago that the United States aspires to keep Greenland, a speech
06:20that has gradually gone from being a joke to a genuine journey.
06:29And in the United States, two federal judges ordered President Donald Trump's administration
06:33to reinstate thousands of workers laid off as part of the large-scale downsizing that
06:38took place at several federal agencies.
06:41Judge William Altsup in San Francisco ruled Tuesday that the layoff did not follow federal
06:47law and demanded that offers of reinstatement be sent out immediately.
06:50White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt claimed the decision was an attempt to interfere
06:55with the President's power to hire on-fire employees.
06:58The judges' order followed a lawsuit filed by a coalition of unions and organizations

07:27After remaining in the air for about an hour, the aircraft landed and headed towards its
07:31gate at the exact moment when the fire broke out.
07:35The accident forced six passengers to stand on the wing of the plane during evacuation

07:53this Friday, March 14.
07:55Washington Special Envoy Richard Grenell announced the agreement through his social media ex.
07:59Previously the President of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, stated that the sanctions against
08:03the oil company Chevron affected the new channel of communication with the U.S. authorities
08:08and the repatriation flights of migrants.
08:10In addition, the Venezuelan government reaffirmed that most of the returnees are people who
08:14migrated in search of economic horizons and just a few of them have criminal records.
08:24And in Haiti, the advance of the coalition of violent gangs remains unstoppable.
08:28The criminal coalition, living together, perpetrated an attack on the building of Radio Televisión
08:33of the Caribbean, the largest media group in the country.
08:36The information was confirmed by members of the corporation, who echoed several videos
08:40on social media where the building can be seen in flames.

10:02The police commander informed that the only victim in the incident is a police chief from
10:07the Pascuales neighborhood, who approached the vehicle when he noticed that it was on fire.
10:12According to the National Director of Anti-Drug Investigations, Holger Cortez Carrion, the

10:58legal benefits in exchange for making a statement in favor of Uribe.

11:22In Brazil, the Workers' Party asked the Prosecutor's Office to investigate former President Jair
11:48Bolsonaro's crime against Brazilian sovereignty.
11:51The complaint is based on a journalistic interview given by the former president in which he
11:55defended foreign intervention in the country and spread false information about an alleged
11:59agreement between Brazil and China for the construction of a nuclear bomb.
12:04The text of the lawsuit mentions how the criminal facts were widely disclosed by the most diverse
12:08channels of communication.

13:26to make use of the devices from the closing of the centers to count and fill the tally
13:30sheets.
13:31This prohibition would not apply neither to delegates or the political parties who would
13:35be able to take photographs of the tally sheets for electoral control, nor to observers and

15:06States.
15:07This agreement took 21 years to be ratified by the U.S. Senate.

15:16with photographs of the time, where the excitement of the population was reflected when Isla
15:21de Pinos was reincorporated to the Cuban jurisdiction.

15:33struggle of the Cuban people to recover Isla de Pinos is exhibited, lands that were invaded
15:38by the United States.
15:41They were sold land in the United States lands that did not belong to the United States and
15:46they came to the island to conquer it.
15:48They tried to create their institutions, their clubs, they created a cemetery that
