00:00The family of the victims of the war on drugs who were arrested by the former President Rodrigo Duterte were released from their homes.

00:07Some of the victims were also transferred to the Dampana of Paghilom in the last administration.

00:18Lenin was 13 years old when he was shot.

00:22Lenin's dream was to become a teacher but it was too late.

00:25In December 2016, while he was weaving and folding cloth to sell as food,

00:31he was hit by a bullet while the authorities were conducting an operation in their place in Camarín, Caloocan City

00:37in the aftermath of the bloody war on drugs in the last administration,

00:41even though it was already a year ago.

00:43Father Rod still can't accept it.

00:45Until now, we believe that justice will be served.

00:52Along with the other victims' relatives,

00:54Father Rod faced the media to share their grief after the authorities arrested the former President Duterte.

01:01Until now, he is still arranging his nephew's death certificate

01:05to correct the record that he died in a gunshot wound instead of pneumonia.

01:09Ms. Sara called the former President Verdugo after he lost two children due to the war on drugs.

01:16They suffered a lot because of what happened,

01:19so she hopes that justice will be served.

01:22I hope this will continue.

01:25He can't go back to where he is now.

01:28According to the Non-Government Organization of Ideals,

01:31it provides legal assistance to war on drugs victims.

01:34They were charged with 700 to 1,000 cases of human rights abuses since 2016.
