01:22Of course, the most excited to see him inside the PBIB house is his girlfriend, Ashley Ortega.

01:31It was the task of the housemates to share their life story on why and how they joined the showbiz.

01:39The housemates became emotional as My Ilonggo Girl star Michael Seger.

01:44I started showbiz not because I wanted it growing up.

01:49Actually, it just started because my dad auditioned for PBIB Season 2.

01:54And from then, he couldn't continue his dreams of auditioning because my grandfather was sick at the time.

02:00Michael's voice cracked as he told how challenging it is to be independent and to be alone in the Philippines, far from his family in Canada.

02:12I would go home to myself eating and I couldn't share stories with anybody and I couldn't tell anything about my day.

02:20I was forced to move here from scratch and I don't have friends.

02:23It's something I really wished I had.

02:26I really wanted this dream but the biggest sacrifice was my family and my life in Canada.

02:31But I said, one day this will be all worth it.

02:33Michael is very grateful for the breaks he was given and the news that My Pinoy Big Brother this season

02:42I really said yes to it because it was my biggest prayer when I started.

02:46Full circle moment for me because finally I'm here.

02:48I don't know how long I'll be here, I don't know how long this will last but I'm already thankful.

02:53Because of this story of Michael, he was able to get closer to his housemates, including his close friend, Mavi.

03:01It's also hard on me because he's like a younger brother to me.

03:05But as a brother to Michael and also being his older brother here, I know I see his struggle.

03:21But I'm happy he gets blessed with work.

03:24I want to say thank you to you because his family is the closest to my heart.

03:31I mean, the twins, Mavi and Tita Zioran and Tita Mina, they treat me like family.

03:38Which, you know, as a boy here, because I'm a mama's boy, it's really hard to be alone.
