00:00Transportation Secretary Vince Dizon denied that he will not inform the people involved in the Tanimbalang Incident in Naia.

00:07That's why he immediately called the three security personnel who were involved here.

00:18The Department of Transportation called the three security personnel of the Office of Transportation Security in Naia Terminal 3

00:26in accordance with a viral social media post in which the security personnel of a 69-year-old woman

00:32and her family were arrested for the physical inspection of a bullet on March 6.

00:37They accused the woman who carried the bullet to the airport.

00:41The President's kindness to all of us who are in the government,

00:47we cannot be arrogant, we need to serve our countrymen.

00:54We will not tolerate this sort of behavior against our citizens.

00:59So we are hereby announcing the termination of all the people in the OTS who were involved in this incident.

01:06Based on the initial investigation of the DOTR,

01:09the senior citizen was cleared from the X-ray scanner and was allowed to board the airplane to go to Vietnam

01:15where they were chased by security personnel for the physical inspection

01:19because they saw a bullet flying in her luggage.

01:22No bullet was retrieved from the group of passengers and they were almost left behind due to the incident.

01:29Because of this, the issue of the bullet in Naia was brought up again.

01:33The investigation continues and the suspects are facing administrative charges.

01:38I am calling on our countrymen, if this happens to you, don't be afraid, don't be ashamed, report it immediately.

01:46Meanwhile, the Transportation Department did not overlook the incident of the power outage in Naia

01:52where there was a 5-minute power outage in Naia Terminal 1,

01:56more than 20 minutes in Terminal 2, and 1 minute in Terminal 3.

02:00According to the DOTR, there should be no more than 1 minute for the power to return because there is a generator.

02:07The New Naia Infrastructure Corporation is now working with the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines

02:13for a long-term solution so that the incident will not happen again.

02:17To connect directly to the National Grid because the requirement of the airport is very high.

02:24This is so that the power supply to the airport and directly to the grid will not go through the distributor.

02:29The operators were also told by Manila International Airport Authority General Manager Eric Ines

02:35to fix the problem and comply with the Standard and Privatization Agreement for Operations.
