Did you know that in The Amazing Spider-Man 2?, there’s a reason why Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man is the only one to do tricks while swinging? If you watch all the Spider-Man movies and compare them, you’ll realize that Andrew’s Spider-Man is really the only one who does tricks while swinging, because he’s a skateboarder. The movie showed that Peter is pretty skilled on a skateboard, and he also gets the idea for web-slinging while skating a halfpipe and then swinging from a hanging chain. So, I think he transitioned his love for skateboard tricks into web-slinging tricks. That’s why he’s my favorite Spider-Man. Garfield’s Spider-Man is so expressive, and I loved it—he’s exactly how I imagine the Spider-Man from the comics.
