00:00Then you're on with the Express of Stars, you can see we're in Birmingham's NEC, where we're currently at Crufts 2025.
00:06You can see there's absolutely hundreds of dogs around me at the moment.
00:09Yeah, and this is just one of the halls that's taking place, that's where the dogs are taking place today.
00:14So we've already seen a fantastic range of dogs, anything from bloodhounds, basset hounds, pretty much all the big ones.
00:20We saw a woman getting her face absolutely slobbered off by this absolutely lovely bloodhound as well.
00:25So on the agenda for today is agility, we've got heel work, we've also got the Young Kennel Club's jumping club as well, fly ball, which is always a big winner.
00:34So yeah, it's going to be an absolute activity and fun packed day.
00:38So yeah, keep up to date with the Express of Stars for more information.
00:42Okay, so we're here with Amy. Amy, if you just want to introduce yourself.
00:44Hi, I'm Amy and we're here for Crufts 2025.
00:48Fantastic, and who are we here with?
00:50This is Bree, so she's got two of her puppies here today. I bred her and yeah, all groomed and ready to go.
01:01Fantastic, are you excited to be here, a little bit nervous?
01:03Nervous, the M6 was stressful this morning, but we're here, we're all set up and one of my dogs has just gone in the ring, so excited to see how he does.
01:13Fantastic, fantastic. So you were, I think we talked before and you said you were a Westminster ambulance nurse?
01:17Yeah, I'm a paramedic with Westminster.
01:19So you're a paramedic, that's it?
01:20Yeah.
01:21And then the dogs, they've also got something special about them as well, haven't they?
01:24Yeah, yeah.
01:25If you want to talk about that.
01:26So Mia in the bottom, she is a support dog from a friend. She's just up there, she's a veteran.
01:32They also do scent trailing as well, so that really kind of enriches their hound instincts.
01:40And also a lot of my colleagues absolutely love seeing the dogs as well.
01:46Your little Wagamedics, they're just great to come home to after a long shift and really help with that.
01:52That's absolutely fantastic. And just talk a little bit about being at Crofts, I mean it's a fantastic experience, isn't it?
01:56Yeah, it's just, I've got people here with me today that have just never been before and just trying to explain the scale of it is just absolutely insane.
02:05There's so much shopping, you work all year to exhibit your dogs and show them off at Crofts and this is like, it's Croftmas, this is just the highlight of the year.
02:14So, big day.
02:16So you competed before?
02:17Yeah.
02:18Where did you place last time?
02:20Ellie came second when she was a puppy, Bree's had a second as well. We've never had that red ribbon at Crofts though, so fingers crossed for today.
02:29This one's the year, isn't it?
02:31Hopefully.
02:32Just as a funny story as well, two of the dogs were also born?
02:37Yep, so Bree's puppies last year were born on Hound Day at Crofts last year, so we didn't make it last year, so it's their first Crofts this year and one of them's in the ring now.
02:47Some would say written in the stars, wouldn't they?
02:49Yeah, yeah. Fingers crossed.
02:51Fingers crossed, paws crossed.
02:53Paws crossed.
02:54Fantastic.
02:55Thank you so much, thank you.
