06:31he says that Aurangzeb was neither cruel nor did he have a role in the demolition of temples,
06:39however there is evidence, there is evidence, literary evidence and evidence from the Mughal court itself,
06:47the Mughal court had documented how Aurangzeb had ordered that the temple at Kashi Vishwanath
06:53or the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi temple at Mathura should be demolished, this is Mughal history,

07:23which is old name is Ahmed Nagar and BJP's leader and the Yatra committee decided that no any Muslim businessmen will be allowed into the Yatra,
07:37after that proposal from the villagers and the other people Yatra committee,
07:45government officials completely scrapped that proposal and allowed Muslims community to do a business, regular business,
07:54after that Nitesh Rane who is a minister from Maharashtra cabinet went there and he took one meeting there
08:02and he said that we will not tolerate the people who are adoring Aurangzeb or the people who are projecting Aurangzeb as their hero,
08:13after responding Nitesh Rane then Abu Azmi came into the picture and said that Aurangzeb was not against the Hindus,
08:23Aurangzeb was not the cruel ruler or he have not demolished any temples in history,
08:31but as we know that and one more thing he said that Aurangzeb, that battle between Aurangzeb and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj
08:41or Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj was not between the religious leaders but the battle between the two kings for the territory,
08:49so he was defending Aurangzeb, his ruling, his acts also and after that Shiv Sena UBT, Shiv Sena Shinde faction and BJP also
08:59aggressively coming into the picture and asking to take action against the Abu Azmi also.

09:48and these are social media posts that are going viral in Bhopal, in Madhya Pradesh,
09:52they're saying during Ramzan don't buy from Hindus, it's circulating and watch this,
09:58so there is somebody who says, Ramzan ka mubarak mahina aagaya, Ramzan mubarak kharidari dekhbal ka kare,
10:04un logon jo kharide, jo kharidari se apna Ramzan aur Eid khushi ke saath mana sake,
10:09istinja toh door ki baat hai, najis ke baat bhi haath nahi dhote aur words to that effect
10:16and these are very loaded religious terms that are being used, you know, which means that impure practices
10:24and you know, so there's a section who says you don't follow their religion, you're kafirs,
10:29so all of this is being said in Madhya Pradesh but that's in Madhya Pradesh,
10:33in Uttar Pradesh you have Hindu groups that are saying Muslims should be kept out,
10:37Muslims should be kept completely out of holy celebrations not just in Mathura or Vrindavan
10:44but across the Braj Mandal because they are saying that chemicals or other, you know,
10:52impurities are being brought in, in colours and that is not good,
10:57are these goals for boycott justified is the big question we're asking and we'll debate that but first this report.

11:21These are just a few of the viral posts on social media.
11:25Many more are being circulated in Madhya Pradesh in the month of Ramzan.
11:31The posts are calling on the Muslim community to buy goods from those of their own faith.
12:01We are all businessmen, we are all businessmen connected to each other and India's uniqueness,
12:06unity in diversity and India's uniqueness is the message we are trying to convey
12:11and we are opposing it in a very positive way.
12:16I also appeal to the people of the Muslim community that they should come out openly and boycott such people
12:22because the people who are spreading this message are definitely not Muslims.
12:27While locals say they won't let such hate divide the society, politics is speaking on the issue.
12:58Meanwhile in Uttar Pradesh, Hindutva outfits are seeking a ban on Muslims during Holi celebrations across Braj Mandal
13:07including Mathura, Vrindavan, Nandgaon, Varsana, Gokul and Dowji.
13:28We don't want anyone from the Muslim community to do any kind of business,
13:34sell colourful colours during Holi or enter the crowd during Holi and riot.
13:40The Congress and the Samajwadi Party have accused the BJP of spreading hate.
13:46The only aim of the Indian People's Party and the organization associated with them is to spread hatred and division.
13:53Let's talk about Mohan Bhagwatji.
13:56He says that all the leaders of the BJP and all the people are trying to become the leaders of Hindus
14:03by spreading hatred between Hindus and Muslims.
14:09The Chhadm Sanghatan in Mathura is also a part of the same conspiracy.

15:22And he's dealt with situations like this in the past.
15:25But Maulana Sajid Rashidi, what kind of messages are you seeing in Bhopal?
15:32What is the meaning of Najis?
15:36They are ritually impure.
15:38Those who don't even wash their hands after going to the bathroom,
15:41should not shop for Ramadan and Iftar from them.
15:44They should only shop from their own people.
15:46On one hand, there is a need to file an FIR in Bareilly.
15:50That if Hindus want to celebrate Holi there,
15:53then people from minority communities come and beat them up.
15:56And they say that dead bodies will be sold if Holi is celebrated.
15:59What is happening, sir?
16:02Dear viewers, these are mentally ill people.
16:06They are suffering from mental illness.
16:09You tell me, how many Muslims make sweets?
16:15How many Muslims make Namkeen?
16:18How many Muslims are in big websites?

16:50In Islam, this is not the case at all.
16:52I will read you a verse from the Quran.
16:55The Quran says,
16:59Those who believe in other gods other than Allah,
17:03do not say bad things to them.
17:06Do not say such things to them,
17:08that they feel bad.
17:10When the Quran says this,
17:12then there should be strict action against such people.
17:15I am coming to that.
17:17There should be such an action,
17:19that the world should see it.
17:22And the Muslim society should boycott such people.
17:52The police swung into action,
17:54when Hindus were assaulted,
17:56and they were warned against celebrating Holi in Bareilly,
17:59when some Muslims came and said,
18:01dead bodies will be sold if Holi is celebrated.
18:23What do you make of it?
18:25And what needs to be done?
18:52And anyone who says that this festival can be celebrated,
18:54without our Muslim brothers,
18:56and without our Hindu brothers,
18:58I think is absolutely irresponsible.
19:00And as Maulana Rashidi has said,
19:02I strongly recommend,
19:04that the police take action against them,
19:06deterrent action,
19:07so that those trying to spew venom,
19:09those trying to promote communal hatred,
19:11should be taken to task.
19:13This is not acceptable in New India.
19:15Both the brothers, Hindus and Muslims,
19:17have to live and coexist,
19:19as they have lived for centuries together,
19:21and celebrated all the festivals for centuries together.
19:23And anybody who says,
19:25that it has to be otherwise,
19:27ban the entry of a particular community,
19:29or ban the entry of anybody else,
19:31I think should be booked under law.
19:33Peace committees be formed,
19:35and there should be a collective and a common declaration,
19:37from the DM and the SP's office,
19:39that these are people with criminal mentality,
19:41and they will be booked as per law.
19:43And they will not be allowed to spread venom,
19:45and spread communal hatred, Gauravji.
19:47Okay.
19:49There are elements,
19:51and other elements,
19:53who try to vitiate the atmosphere,
19:55and to keep the purity of the festival,
19:57such elements,
19:59do they need to be dealt with,
20:01before the festival starts,
20:03and in a very hard manner.

20:09created these WhatsApp messages,
20:11and circulated them.
20:13Some people in Bareilly,
20:15tried to say,
20:17because of such elements,
20:19is it correct to issue,
20:21you know, a call to boycott,
20:23all Muslims in the Braj Mandal,
20:25and say do not buy anything from Muslims,
20:27in Braj Mandal, what's the thinking behind that?

20:33I believe that in recent times,
20:35in the country, and because of the efforts,
20:37of certain political parties,
20:39which are in the opposition today,
20:41certain governments, in certain states,
20:43which are bent on dividing India,
20:45on religious lines,
20:47these kind of sentiments have been festering.
20:49I'll give you solid examples.
20:51You look at Telangana government,
20:53they comfortably give a chutti for Ramzan,
20:55they say government employees,
20:57who are fasting can leave office at 4pm,
20:59but no such provision is made,
21:01if a Christian is fasting for Lent,
21:03or a Hindu is fasting,
21:05for any of his festivals,
21:07for Navratri for example.
21:09In West Bengal recently,
21:11the leave in schools,
21:13for Eid has been extended,
21:15from one day to two days,
21:17while taking away the chutti,
21:19which used to exist for Vishwakarma Puja.
21:21In Karnataka, we see an extra reservation,
21:23being given on religious lines,
21:25which is contrary to what,
21:27our constitution talks about.
21:29I can talk state wise,
21:31and explain how these political parties,
21:33have managed to lodge this wedge,
21:35between the fabric,
21:37of actual secularism,
21:39that existed in India.
21:41Now in the name of pseudo secularism.

22:15One stray person, threatening something,
22:17should be looked at,
22:19with a lens of law and order,
22:21not of religion, which is what,
22:23the opposition wants to do.

37:11The BCCI, of course, cleared the air.
37:13The BCCI has come out very strongly in support of Rohit Sharma.
37:17Now, if you look at statistics of the 141 matches in which he's been the captain, India
37:23has won 102.
37:24He has about 75% win rate, it's a success rate.
37:28India has lost about 32, 33 matches when he's been the captain.
37:32But whether it's ODI, T20 World Championship, when he was the leader of the team, of course
37:38we were runners-up in the ODI, in T20 we were champions, then IPL, he's led Mumbai Indians
37:45to a victory, title victory, at least five times.
37:48Is this criticism justified?

38:50And I fail to understand a democracy, we don't have the right to speak in such a manner.
38:56A Congress spokesperson's comments triggered another controversy, prompting a party to
39:02distance itself from her remarks.
39:05The BCCI slammed Dr. Sharma Mohammed, stating that such remarks during the tournament could
39:10lower the team's morale.
39:12The party never makes any comments about such players.
39:16Their statement can be a negative statement.
39:19It has nothing to do with the Congress party.
39:23The Congress party never makes any comments about any player.
39:28We are playing very well, we are leading the team, we are continuously winning.
39:33So he is a very good player, he has a very big contribution in Indian cricket.
39:38And we believe that he is fit and capable of playing.
39:42If a party's spokesperson has given a little bit of respect to the platform given to him,
39:50then he should at least respect the platform given to him.
39:55Because if he doesn't know who he is talking about,
40:00if he doesn't have the core competence, then who is he talking about?

42:49But I think there's a way of doing it.
42:51Let's not forget, he's the captain of the Indian cricket team.
42:53He's an ambassador of the sport.
42:55He's here in Dubai right now, representing India on the whole.
42:58So, I mean, to write a line like,
43:00Rohit Sharma is fat,
43:02instead of writing something like,
43:04I think maybe Rohit Sharma needs to work on his fitness.
43:07Is he fit enough to be playing cricket?
43:09That's the way you can have a constructive criticism about it.
43:12But I think the manner in which it was written,
43:14it's clearly there is some sort of a personal attack on him,
43:17on his fitness.
43:18And it's actually got the second part of the statement
43:20that makes it even more obvious that it's a personal attack.
43:23Where she writes that he's not even a captain of repute.
43:27He's quite a useless captain in that sense.
43:29That's the thing that she's trying to imply.
43:31Which is also really far away from the truth.
43:34In fact, nothing could be further away from the truth.
43:36He's one of the most outstanding captains
43:38that have played for India.
43:39The World Cup win, the IPL wins,
43:41all of that illustrate that.
43:43So, what this tells you is that the person commenting,
43:45and as I said, you have all the right to comment,
43:47but you need to know the subject, right?
43:49If I, as a citizen, I can comment
43:51on a political party or a politician.
43:53But I need to get my facts right.
43:55And here's a person who's actually a spokesperson
43:57of a national political party.
43:59They have to be doubly careful with what they write.
44:01And I think this wasn't that.
44:03This was rather careless.
44:05Let me also bring in Vikrant Gupta.
