David Moyes has revitalised Everton since his return, transforming them into a resilient and well-organised side.
With their defensive solidity and newfound confidence, a mid-table finish now looks realistic, potentially pushing towards the top half if their form continues.
Moyes has given Everton a platform to build on, steering them well clear of relegation concerns.

00:00We're looking at Everton and their changes under David Moyes. There's no secret that
00:10teams are struggling underneath them, the likes of Man Utd, Spurs have had a real poor
00:15season by their standards, West Ham even as well. There's obviously that big gap now between
00:21the teams fighting to avoid relegation. Everton seem to be away from that well, which is fantastic
00:28for them. If you compare it to maybe three months ago, it was really an unsure situation
00:35with the form towards the back end of Sean Dyche's tenure. Where's the realistic position
00:41that Everton could be looking to finish now and how happy will they be with this second
00:46half of season and using it as time for David Moyes to settle, get back and really implement
00:52his style ahead of next season, which could go anywhere at this point?
00:57Look, they'll be absolutely delighted. I think a lot of supporters, maybe even the
01:02freaking group, will be surprised by the start that David Moyes has. What is it, 13 points
01:09in his opening six games. His task was ultimately to ensure relegation battles avoid us. He's
01:19done that already. Everton are what, 13 points above the drop zone now, has a rip switch.
01:26You can't see Everton dropping back into that. Albeit they have got some injury problems,
01:32but David Moyes is getting the best out of these players. As you say, they're probably
01:36looking at the table now and thinking, where can we finish? I don't think anyone's getting
01:41too over-enthusiastic. You're looking at a team like Tottenham who are starting to get
01:46injuries back now and you think they'll be going up the table. But Palace, Everton are
01:50on level points with Palace. Can they finish ahead of them? Man Utd, who knows what's going
01:55to happen to them. West Ham as well, haven't really got going under Graeme Potter, have
02:02they, since he arrived? Brentford are four points above Everton. So, look, Everton would
02:08have finished, I think, 12th maybe last season without the points disruption, doing a great
02:13return. If Everton can replicate that, given the problems that they've had this season,
02:19then in the first half under Sean Dyson, it's more tangible progress and no-one can deny
02:26that, because they've got players out of contract and they can have a little bit of a reset,
02:33you'd think. So, look, 13 games to go. I think if Everton finish 12th, maybe above Palace
02:40and Brentford, then it's an excellent return for them. I just think Tottenham might start
02:46picking up, but if when David Moyes arrived, one point above the relegation zone, he says
02:52Everton will finish 12th comfortably, then there isn't a support who wouldn't have taken that.
