00:03Back in 2011, when an American blogger traveling through China walked into what looked like a

00:07perfectly normal Apple Store, with a glass storefront, wooden tables, and even Apple

00:11products. But there was one massive problem. Apple never opened a store in that city,

00:15sparking an entire investigation which found that across China, hundreds of unauthorized Apple

00:19stores had recently popped up, with some selling real Apple products and others selling knockoffs,

00:23all inside of a store that looked completely real. But it gets even crazier, because when

00:26employees were questioned by Chinese authorities, many believed they were working for the real

00:30company, and had no idea they were actually scamming customers.
