00:02I follow that on social media.
00:03It's like, wait a second here, what are we doing?
00:05We got this nice young team,
00:06this really strong pitching staff.
00:09And, you know, they didn't do a lot.
00:11It's almost, to me, Matt,
00:12it's like kind of running it back, so to speak.
00:16They have two of the most talented young players
00:18in baseball in Byron Buxton and Royce Lewis.
00:21And to me, it's like, okay, they're saying,
00:22all right, this is the year
00:24that these two are gonna be fully healthy.
00:25And then we're gonna have this starting rotation
00:27with Pablo Lopez and Joe Ryan, Ober, Paddock.
00:30With this kid, Woods Richardson
00:31was really good for them last year.
00:33And as long as that happens, we're in business.
00:36And Correa, too, you could throw in.
00:37But that just hasn't happened for the Twins, Matt.
00:39That's the problem.
00:41It is the problem.
00:42And I think you're right about,
00:43okay, this is the team, let's win with this team.
00:47And it's talented enough to win.
00:48I mean, you think about last year
00:50and how far up they were
00:51and how much they collapsed down the stretch.
00:55And you can look at that and say, that's a fluke.
00:57You can look at that and say,
00:58well, that's a sign that we're not quite built for it.

01:01I think the Twins,
01:02there's budgetary constraints, of course,
01:04but I think they looked at it and said,
01:05no, we got the team.
01:07We can win this division with what we have.
01:10And we just gotta do it this year.
01:12And I think from a betting perspective,
01:14when you have a team with guys who always get hurt,
01:17it's really tough to rely on those guys.
01:19Now, is the payoff ultimately,
01:21maybe the biggest if you hit on them?
01:24Yeah, it's a nice thing to take that chance
01:26and for it to work out,
01:27but it's just really tough to do
01:29because those are such key players.
01:31And we know there's gonna be injuries
01:33with every team every year,
01:34but when you have your top guys always get hurt,
01:37it makes it extremely tough to trust.
01:39But they're a very talented team.
01:41There's no question about it.
01:42They, to me, have the best lineup on paper.
01:44They have a very good rotation.
01:46Bullpen's not bad.
01:47So they can do it.
01:48They just gotta do it.
