PBBM leads land title distribution for over 1.9K agrarian reform beneficiaries

00:21 equipment the president handed out today to farmer, fisher folk, and other beneficiaries

00:25 in Camarinas Sur. Edgar has been farming the land he dreams of owning for 15 years

00:32 and admits that non-ownership affects his income.

00:53 But that complaint of Edgar has been positively addressed today,

00:56 because after more than two years of waiting, the land he has been working on is finally his.

01:01 President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. himself presented the titles to Edgar

01:17 and other agrarian reform beneficiaries who have been farming the land they don't own

01:21 for a long time. Over 1,965 ARBs received their titles, which is equivalent to 3,328 hectares of

01:30 land. According to the president, this is just a part of government's programs to improve the

01:35 lives of farmers.

01:36 I also want to express my heartfelt gratitude to you for your hard work every day,

01:44 but you are still working to meet your needs. So, you can expect that we will always have good

01:53 news and good news from the completion of the infrastructure that we have built,

02:00 up to the programs that we will invest in to make the lives of the region more prosperous.

02:09 The government has already distributed 30,000 land titles to the ARBs,

02:14 and the president assured to give away more before the end of the year.

02:17 There are still 36,000 land titles and E-titles that we will give away to the

02:23 past 30,000 agrarian reform beneficiaries before the end of this year. The Certificate of Land

02:33 Ownership Award and these E-titles will be of great use to more opportunities.

02:40 The beneficiaries in the provincial government are profusely thankful for the government's help.

03:05 We are deeply grateful for the support of our beloved president, Bongbong Marcos Jr.,

03:10 whose efforts have paved way for this momentous occasion that will undoubtedly

03:16 empower our farmers, elevate the agricultural sector, as well as drive economic growth and

03:22 prosperity. In addition to the distribution of land titles, the president also led the

03:27 distribution of presidential assistance for fishermen, farmers, and their families affected

03:32 by the El Nino phenomenon, and distribution of farm machinery and equipment worth millions

03:37 to farmer groups.

03:39 The agreement with the law on agrarian reform also provides support through machinery,

03:47 assistance, and technical support provided by agrarian reform so that the harvest of our

04:00 fishermen will be more productive and better. We will also distribute more than 600 farm

04:11 machinery and equipment worth P20 million to further improve your farming.

04:20 The president also encouraged the beneficiaries to develop the land they received and assured
