“They cannot survive…” Dilip Ghosh suggest to ‘tighten screws’ on Bangladesh after port restrictions

North 24 Parganas (WB) May 18, 2025 (ANI): Commenting on port restrictions affecting imports from Bangladesh to India, BJP leader Dilip Ghosh stated that Bangladesh is entirely dependent on India for its survival, including air, water, trade, and commerce. He compared the situation to India’s stance on Pakistan, asserting that if India can take a tough stand on Pakistan, it can do the same with Bangladesh. He emphasized that Bangladesh should not act against India’s interests.On port restrictions imposed on the import of certain goods, from Bangladesh to India, BJP leader Dilip Ghosh said "When we can tighten screws on Pakistan, then what is Bangladesh? It is surrounded by India from all four sides. For Bangladesh, everything is in our hands, from air to water, business to commerce. They should understand that it cannot survive if they go against India."
