00:00Sometimes it's very hard for me to grasp where my feelings are coming from
00:05and I just live these very intense feelings and music is a way to pinpoint the source.
00:12No, I'm very relaxed. It's really just a joyful feeling.
00:17I have the chance to release this music and I'm very happy about it,
00:21but I don't feel particular pressure.
00:23I don't know what it was. I truly just felt ready to talk about some more deep stuff and more personal stuff
00:32and then album really was the process for me to actually kind of talk with myself
00:39and understand what was going on in my brain and it always helps me a lot to put it on paper
00:46and to put it in a song. It helps me to see it more clearly.
00:51So it was really a process of getting to know myself better and then sharing it with the audience.
00:59That's exactly what music does for me.
01:02For me, again, it's a way to understand myself and sometimes it's very hard for me to grasp
01:10where my feelings are coming from and I just live these very intense feelings
01:14and music is a way to pinpoint the source.
01:18I don't think it's like a matter of easier or not, it's just I have the chance to talk to an international audience
01:27so it just makes sense to do it in English and a big, big part of my life now it's English speaking.
01:35So it's part of my everyday routine and yeah, no, that's it.
01:42I think that maybe sometimes the fact that it's not my native language gives me a healthy distance to what I'm saying
01:50and even if it's very personal I can still be kind of an observer of it
01:56but I don't feel much difference in writing music in Italian or in English.
02:02No, no, I don't want to say it on tango.
02:03I'm sorry.
02:06It's about, it says, when I tango with my fear.
02:10It's about actually dancing a tango with this like ghost figure that it's like my fears
02:18and all the bad things that happen to me.
02:21It's the Cleo Tighe, it's one of the songwriters I wrote the song with in the album.
02:29It's going to be another voice but in the version you heard it's Cleo.
02:34She's the best, she's a great songwriter.
02:36Yeah, that was specific for that video.
02:40I would love to do it in the future, even not for music purposes, even just for, it's fun.
02:48I don't know, like it's fun, it's very expressing so I would love to get deeper
02:54but as of now I really don't have the time to learn a new discipline.
03:01Why not?
03:01It's always about doing the right things at the right time
03:05and not on a marketing level but on a human and artistic level
03:11so for me as now it wouldn't make sense to do a big movie
03:15because I have no preparation at all but if the right project comes
03:20and I have enough time to study and to have an acting coach
03:24and to do things properly, it's a challenge that I would love to take.
03:29Yes.
03:30I have a bunch of songs in Spanish.
03:32No, it was very cool.
03:34I did these sessions in Miami with amazing songwriters.
03:39I don't know, in general I love Latin music in every form possible.
03:44I have a good feeling with Spanish.
03:49Now I don't practice since two years so I'm a little rusty
03:52but it has a lot in common with Italian.
03:55It's an extremely musical language and it has like this romance, this flair
04:02that when you're writing a song really helps you.
04:05So one of my favorite music genres is bachata so I would love to do one in the future
04:11but I need more, I need to be deeper in the culture.
04:18It was fun, she's fun.
04:19She's a unique person.
04:22It was a videoclip so it was nothing real.
04:25No, we were acting the Hannah Montana.
04:30I don't know, I can't think of any Hannah Montana, the climb but she was already Miley Cyrus.
04:37I don't know, I need to get back into Hannah Montana catalog.
04:42Yes, the It's Good to Be Bad, it's my favorite.
04:47She has a new album coming and I always tell her there's two songs that I wish I have written
04:53but I'm happy that she did.
04:55No, we don't see ourselves as artists when we interact with each other.
05:00We have an amazing respect for each other's job and we're both big fans of each other
05:08and extremely supportive but then we almost never bring the work home
05:14and when we're home we're just a normal couple.
05:18Yes, sure, of course.
05:20I'm going to pick it literally 24 hours before the show so...
05:24Yes, otherwise it's boring.
05:25No, no, no, I don't think it would be fair to the band.
