00:00From West London's often overlooked Brentford, Thomas Frank has sculpted a sight that punches way above its weight.
00:10Competing fiercely in the capital, the Danes' tactical sharpness and ability to develop talent have put the bees on the brink of European qualification, an unprecedented feat for the club.
00:21Well, it's Arnie Schlott who headlines the nominees for the 2024-25 Premier League Manager of the Season Award.
00:28But there is no place for Bournemouth's Andoni Iriola, despite his widely praised work.
00:34Schlott has enjoyed a sensational debut campaign in England, guiding Liverpool to just their second Premier League title and first since 2019-20, after succeeding Jurgen Klopp last summer.
00:46The Reds clinched the title with four games to spare, matching Manchester United's tally of 20 top-flight championships.
00:53Despite the league's success, Schlott's season wasn't without setbacks.
00:58Liverpool lost the Carabao Cup final to Newcastle, exited the Champions League on penalties to PSG and were stunned by Plymouth in the FA Cup fourth round.
01:07Joining Schlott on the shortlist is Eddie Howe, who led Newcastle to a top-five finish and a return to the Champions League, while delivering their first domestic trophy since 1955.
01:20Nino Espirito Santo is also recognised after transforming Nottingham Forest into European contenders and FA Cup semi-finalists.
01:29Forest spent time in the top three and remained seventh with two matches to go.
01:33Thomas Strank is another nominee, having steered Brentford to eighth and into European contention, what would be their best-ever Premier League finish.
01:43The Bees also reached the Carabao Cup quarter-finals.
01:46Completing the list is Vitor Pereira, who took over from Gary O'Neill at Wolves in December and sparked a remarkable turnaround as Wolves climbed from relegation danger to 14th,
01:56thanks to a record-setting run of six consecutive league victories.
02:00Well, with Schlott the favourite but a very even list of nominees throughout, plenty of top-five managers have put their clubs back in the conversation this campaign.
