In a strong retaliation to the Pahalgam terror attack, India launched Operation Sindoor, targeting multiple terrorist hideouts inside Pakistan. As part of the operation, India also responded to Pakistani military aggression by firing 15 BrahMos missiles at key airbases, significantly damaging critical infrastructure. The bold action demonstrated India's military resolve and strategic capability in countering cross-border terrorism and hostilities.

00:00India today has access exclusive details of India's deadly operation Sindhu India today
00:06gained exclusive access to this covert and deadly details of India's operation Sindhu
00:11and how it trained health fire on Pakistan forcing it to seek ceasefire sources revealed
00:17that India fired around 15 Brahmos missiles on Pakistani air bases the strike by the Brahmos
00:22and scalp mainly hit the hangar of the Pakistan Air Force at an airbase in Sindh where they've
00:29suffered heavy damage the aircraft missions carrying the missiles flew from different
00:34air bases in Western and Southern Western Air Command the missions had attacked almost
00:39all the major sites of Pakistan Air Force 11 of their 13 bases were hit sources have
00:45told us that the armed forces are on high alert and ready to hit back in case of any
00:50attempted escalation by Pakistan remember Indian forces showed that might completed
00:55a crucial mission like operations in 23 minutes now once they got hit as badly as they did
01:08on the morning of May 10th and all of you have seen the you know today the satellite
01:17pictures which actually bring out very graphically how much damage we did by the way the satellite
01:23pictures also bring out how little damage they did so these pictures I I think will tell you
01:30what a hit they took and the same people who are not willing to stand down on 7th May were
01:35willing to talk and stand down on the 10th of May it is very clear who wanted the cessation of
01:43fighting a managing editor Gaurav Saban joining us this morning Gaurav just give us a sense of
01:49what hot standby first of all means explain this term to us government sources tell India
01:59today that there is a pause in hot operations the armed forces are in a state of highest readiness
02:07the operational readiness platform combat air patrols by the Indian Air Force they're happening
02:13as usual because Pakistan is an adversary that just cannot be trusted in history has shown India
02:20that each time there's been a ceasefire in operations and in this case there wasn't a war
02:25for to for a ceasefire to happen India said yes there is a pause in operations Pakistan has been
02:32put on notice now if under domestic pressure or under pressure of terrorists whether it's the
02:38Pakistan army or Lashkar-e-Taiba or Jaish-e-Mohammad they mount an operation against the people of
02:45India or against military installations by the army there would be an immediate and punitive
02:52response which could perhaps be even worse than what Pakistan went through on the 10th of May
02:59morning that compelled Pakistan to seek a ceasefire so the situation does remain precarious Indian Navy
03:06ships they are still out there in the Arabian Sea they haven't come back to port operational
03:12deployment remains the army is alert not just along the line of control where the posture was
03:19always aggressive but even along the international border but then there is no movement there's no
03:25forward movement of troops on ground so there is there is no escalation from the Indian side but
03:33they're waiting and watching Pakistan's behavior you know Gaurav also just tell us if this actually
03:41translates into command centers you know being present in China does that really mean that
03:47now that's a very pertinent point and a matter of greater scrutiny in India India wasn't just
03:58fighting Pakistan state-sponsored radical Islamist terror and Pakistan army attacking India or
04:05escalating in defense of the terrorist bases that had been hit by India on the 7th of May
04:11there were Turkish operators on ground there were Chinese operators who were helping the Pakistan
04:20army now 80% of all Pakistani military hardware is from China by some accounts more than 80% so
04:28whether it's the JF-17 Thunder fighters or the J-10s or the J-7s the J-10Cs are the new Chinese
04:37aircraft the JF-17s of course now manufactured in Pakistan however there are a large number of
04:43Chinese engineers and operators who are there on ground for logistic support maintenance with these
04:51missiles including the new PL-15 export long-range air-to-air missile now China doesn't share codes
04:59with anyone the question is was this remotely handled whether as experts argue through a
05:08satellite through data link through operators in an advanced early warning airborne command
05:16and control center or a center which was some distance away from the theater of combat these
05:23are issues that India is still grappling with it's it's very much possible India has the technology
05:28China has the technology Pakistan curtsy China has the technology because do keep in mind Pakistan
05:36does not have a dedicated military satellite or or satellite that would you know give battlefield
05:42transparency so China is helping Pakistan in its war against India or operations against India so
05:50India was able to defeat not just Pakistan impose costs not just on Pakistan but also on Chinese
05:59weapons and Turkish weapons and two Turkish operators we are told were killed during operation
06:05Sindhu so this is a big win for India considering it was battling the combined forces or equipment
06:12of Pakistan Turkey and China God's haven't getting in those details I'm going to leave
06:19it at that for the moment let's tell you a little about India's from most Indian Air Force identified
06:26Pakistan air bases using pilotless target aircraft the National Security Advisor opted for the BrahMos
06:34supersonic cruise missile the aircraft of BrahMos and staff flew from Western and Southern Western
06:42Air Command centers or areas India fired around 15 BrahMos missiles and Pakistan air bases India
06:50attacked major sites of Pakistani Air Force and 11 of 13 Pakistan bases were hit by Indian forces
06:58strike by BrahMos and the staff mainly hit PAF hangar at Sindh air base this through our sources
07:06and this is in India today world exclusive Indian Armed Forces on hot standby that Gaurav was just
07:15telling you about India will hit back if Pakistan attempts escalation third party operators handled
07:22Chinese missiles Chinese pl-15 missiles fired from Pakistan jets Chinese missiles managed by
07:31satellites or Alex outside Pakistan Pakistan China fusion operation made pl-15s show up late
07:39on Indian radars several China made pl-15s misfired others were thwarted the BrahMos missile proved a
07:49game-changer in India's war on terror during operations in do it struck Pakistan's terror
07:55hubs with lethal precision a true Brahmastra in action more in our next report

13:57Pakistan has tried to hit
13:59the Bhuj Air Base
14:01and India has successfully demolished their
14:03fakery. This visit from the
14:05Raksha Mantri is a big big message
14:07to our neighbour, isn't it?
14:11Well, after the successful
14:13air attack by Indian Air Force
14:15on Pakistan Army
14:17and 11 bases of Pakistan Army
14:19this is the second visit of
14:21Defence Minister Rajnath Singh
14:23yesterday he went to Srinagar and
14:25today he is visiting Bhuj
14:27Air Force Station where the
14:29Central, Southern Army
14:31Commander Lakshmi Jiraj will brief him
14:33about the situation, current
14:35security situation and
14:37this visit highlights the coordinated
14:39effort by the, especially the
14:41Army, Air Force and the Navy and other
14:43security personnel like the
14:45BSF and the Army Air Defence
14:47Unit deployed near Bhuj
14:49and Malia. These are the two important
14:51air bases of the Indian Army
14:53Indian Air Defence
14:55have successfully neutralised the
14:57multiple Pakistani
14:59attack by the Pakistani drones,
15:01missiles and effectively
15:03foiling the attempt of targeting
15:05Indian military establishments, especially the
15:07Bhuj Air Station and the
15:09Raksha Mantri also interacted with the troops
15:11including Army,
15:13Air Force and the BSF personnel.
15:15That's right and this is of course a
15:17visit similar to what the Prime Minister
15:19had also undertaken just a few days ago
15:21essentially busting the
15:23fake lies or the lies really of
15:25Pakistan that had said that we destroyed this
15:27particular air base. The Prime Minister
15:29did something similar, indicating
15:31without saying so that look the air base is
15:33intact, isn't it?
15:37Manjeet.
15:39Yes, the first
15:41Prime Minister Modi went to
15:43Adampur Air Base where the Pakistan
15:45claimed that they had hit the
15:47important S-400
15:49missile system and the
15:51PM told that the S-400 missile
15:53system is intact in the
15:55Adampur Air Base and after that
15:57yesterday the
15:59Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh went to
16:01Srinagar where he met the Air Force
16:03personnel, Army personnel and today he is
16:05visiting Bhuj Air Base where the Pakistan
16:07claimed that they have fired
16:09multiple missiles on the Bhuj
16:11Air Force Station.
16:13But the actual situation
16:15is that the
16:17Indian Army Air Defence units
16:19deployed in Bhuj and Malia have
16:21successfully neutralised the multiple
16:23drone and missile attack by the
16:25Pakistan Army. So this is the clear
16:27lie
16:29by the Pakistan Air Force.
16:31But now the
16:33Defence Minister is visiting the
16:35bases and he will interact with
16:37the troops who participated
16:39in this recent
16:41operation.
16:43Alright Manjeet, I am going to leave it at that for the moment.
16:45Let's dig in those details and putting that important
16:47story into perspective. A Defence
16:49Minister's visit to the Bhuj Air Base
16:51where he is going to be meeting our forces
16:53encouraging them and
16:55also busting Pakistan's lies
16:57that they had demolished the
16:59Bhuj Air Base in Gujarat.
17:11More news coming in. Sources say
17:13talks between India and Pakistan has been extended
17:15up until the 18th of May.
17:17DGMOs of both countries
17:19are holding talks yet again.
17:21The current situation between the two countries
17:23could be reviewed in these talks or will be
17:25reviewed rather in these talks.
17:27Ceasefire that can be extended
17:29beyond 18th of May.
17:31Operation Sindhu is in continuum
17:33and Defence forces are prepared for
17:35every situation.
17:39DGMO level talks between
17:41India and Pakistan to get a sense of how to
17:43move forward. Remember, the current
17:45situation between India and Pakistan
17:47is going to be reviewed in these
17:49talks vis-a-vis the fact that
17:51there is a ceasefire.
17:53It has been extended up until the 18th of
17:55May which is the day after
17:57tomorrow. Ceasefire
17:59can be extended beyond the 18th of
18:01May. Operation Sindhu
18:03is continuing. It's not
18:05been halted. It could be paused
18:07is what has been said by
18:09our leadership as well and
18:11indicated by our forces. I'm going
18:13straight to Himanshu for more details
18:15on that story at this hour. Essentially,
18:17this is a discussion that's going to happen, Himanshu,
18:19over whether
18:21the ceasefire should be extended or
18:23not. This meeting has been called
18:25to review the current situation.
18:31According to DGMO talks,
18:33the ceasefire has been
18:35extended until the 18th of May.
18:37The DGMO talks will be held
18:39once again on the 18th of May in both
18:41the countries. The decision
18:43will be taken as to how long
18:45the ceasefire will be extended.
18:47But it is certain, Sneha,
18:49that the operation Sindhu
18:51is ongoing in India
18:53and the government and the army
18:55are ready for any situation.
18:57The government has already
18:59said that if the ceasefire
19:01is reviewed by Pakistan,
19:03if an act of terror is carried out,
19:05it will be seen as an act of war.
19:07The response to that
19:09will be carried out on the
19:1118th of May.
19:13It can be assumed that the
19:15ceasefire will be extended
19:17until the 18th of May.
19:19If that doesn't happen,
19:21the situation will remain the same.
19:23The ceasefire will be
19:25carried out in both the countries.
19:27But as far as the sources are concerned,
19:29the news is that the ceasefire
19:31can be extended after the 18th of May.
19:35Hanshu Mishra getting in those details.
19:37Thank you for joining us.
19:39DGMO level talks to assess the situation
19:41between both the countries. Should the ceasefire
19:43be extended beyond the 18th
19:45of May or not? What next
19:47in the escalating tensions
19:49between both the countries? That is something
19:51that's going to be taken stock of.
19:55India's major airports have
19:57severe ties with Turkish aviation
19:59firm Celebi.
20:01After the government revoked its security
20:03clearance citing national security concerns,
20:05this comes as Turkey
20:07faces mounting backlash
20:09in India over its brazen
20:11support to Pakistan that it's spoken about
20:13also. Celebi's operations
20:15at airports in Delhi, Mumbai
20:17and Ahmedabad where it had
20:19long managed ground handling services
20:21have been terminated.
20:23These are three of the nine major airports
20:25where Celebi holds significant
20:27presence. In response, Celebi
20:29Aviation India has issued a
20:31statement, and I quote,
20:33they're not a Turkish organization
20:35and have no political affiliations or links
20:37to any foreign government
20:39or individuals.
20:41Amit has more. Amit, this
20:43was but expected, isn't it? After
20:45Turkey's very public
20:47support to Pakistan, this
20:49was only but expected. That India
20:51wouldn't want to have anything to do
20:53with this company, even if
20:55it's a private company, but
20:57it has significant presence in the
20:59world. So it's important to send
21:01out a message that if you aren't
21:03a friend, then we aren't going to be doing business
21:05with you. And secondly,
21:07also the fact that these are airports
21:09and there would be security concerns,
21:11isn't it?
21:13Right.
21:15Right, Sneha.
21:17You know, as the foreign experts also indicate
21:19that the powerful is heard
21:21and business is done with those who are powerful.
21:23And India is certainly sending
21:25across a very powerful statement
21:27on these actions. Earlier it was
21:29the citizens, civilians and
21:31the business houses based
21:33in India which was giving a very
21:35strong economic message to
21:37Turkey by, you know,
21:39cancelling their trips and
21:41call for boycotts were happening. But
21:43last evening was a major turning
21:45point when the B-Cash, which
21:47falls under the Civil Aviation
21:49Ministry, officially issued an
21:51order revoking the security
21:53clearance that was given to Celebi, the
21:55Turkish ground handling
21:57company and this
21:59particular clearance was given to them back
22:01in November 2022.
22:03After that, it was pretty clear that one
22:05after other, like pack of cards,
22:07the agreements between
22:09Celebi and the
22:11regional airports will be also
22:13called off and that's what is happening.
22:15First, it was dialled, the Delhi
22:17International Airport Limited, which
22:19very clearly stated that because of the
22:21B-Cash order, they are
22:23doing away with the agreement that was with
22:25Celebi as far as the ground handling
22:27of the carriage is concerned
22:29and they will be making temporary
22:31arrangements with their existing partners
22:33to handle the extra
22:35burden of pressure
22:37because of this revocation and after that
22:39you had Adani, you know,
22:41Adani group also making that statement as
22:43far as the Chhatrapati-Sivaji
22:45airport in
22:47Mumbai is concerned.
22:49The similar action from
22:51Ahmedabad is also what we are hearing.
22:53So all the contracts wherever
22:55in India they have with the airports
22:57is bound to, you know, be broken
22:59right now. The agreements will be
23:01called off because it's an order
23:03that has been officially issued by the B-Cash.
23:05That's right. I'm going to leave it at that for the moment.
23:07Amit Bhardwaj getting in those details
23:09and staying with this. A day after
23:11India Today exposed Turkish
23:13control over seven of India's
23:1510 busiest airports, the government
23:17has ordered Celebi.
23:19In fact the company managing key
23:21operations at nine major
23:23airports to exit. A detailed
23:25report.
23:39Just a day
23:41after India Today television broke the story
23:43about Turkish control over seven
23:45of India's 10 busiest airports,
23:47the government has given marching
23:49orders to Celebi,
23:51the company which
23:53handled some of the most sensitive functions
23:55at nine major Indian
23:57airports.
23:59In an order issued on Thursday afternoon,
24:01the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security
24:03or BCAS revoked
24:05the security clearance it had given to Celebi
24:07airport services in November
24:092022. The letter cites
24:11national security as the reason for the
24:13decision.
24:17The Turkish company provides
24:19some of the most critical services
24:21at Indian airports, passenger services,
24:23load control and
24:25flight operations to ramp services.
24:27Celebi also handles
24:29general aviation services like cargo
24:31and postal services,
24:33warehouse and bridge operation
24:35with access to the most sensitive
24:37areas of the airport.
24:39Importantly, its sphere of influence
24:41is spread across nine
24:43major airports, including
24:45Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru,
24:47Chennai and Hyderabad.
24:51The government's
24:53decision follows Turkey's
24:55brazen and unapologetic support for
24:57Pakistan and its terror activities.
24:59The recent conflict
25:01in the wake of the Pahalgam Massacre saw
25:03Pakistan deploy Turkish-origin drones
25:05and other ammunition against
25:07India. According to some reports,
25:09it was the Turkish operating these drones.
25:11Turkey's President Recep
25:13Tayyip Erdogan has even issued
25:15a statement on Thursday in full
25:17support to Pakistan.
25:43And in order to decrease it,
25:45we made efforts.
25:49The wave of
25:51anti-Turkey sentiment in India even
25:53saw political parties demanding the removal
25:55of Celebi from airport operations
25:57in India. Social media posts
25:59in the past couple of days have been
26:01unforgivingly critical of how the company
26:03was allowed to continue operations in one of the
26:05most sensitive areas of the nation.
26:09From seeking an immediate
26:11removal of Celebi from airports
26:13to social media posts suggesting the
26:15company was partially owned by one of the
26:17daughters of the Turkish President,
26:19the company has been under attack since
26:21Operation Sindhur.
26:23Government sources have meanwhile
26:25told Business Today television that affected
26:27airports will need to make interim
26:29arrangements by coordinating with
26:31alternate ground handling agencies.
26:35Tenders will soon be issued at nine airports
26:37where Celebi currently operates to
26:39appoint new ground handlers.
26:43The spotlight is now on India's
26:45largest airline Indigo,
26:47which not only has a code-shared partnership
26:49with Turkish Airlines and Turkey's
26:51Corindons airline,
26:53but also leases
26:55its aircraft from both for domestic
26:57and international operations.
26:59Indigo also has daily Istanbul
27:01flights on these leased aircraft
27:03from Delhi and Mumbai.
27:09In days
27:11after advocating for a ceasefire,
27:13Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz
27:15Sharif has said that his government is
27:17ready to engage in peace talks with India.
27:19In a carefully worded message,
27:21Sharif extended an olive branch,
27:23but attached a key condition.
27:25Any meaningful dialogue, he said, must
27:27involve addressing the Kashmir issue.
27:29While his remarks signal a potential
27:31diplomatic opening, they also reflect
27:33Islamabad's continued
27:35insistence on
27:37placing Kashmir at the center
27:39of bilateral negotiations, which is
27:41not acceptable to India.
27:43It's been historically, in
27:45fact, rejected by India, and that's
27:47the reason why talks have been stalled as well
27:49between the two countries. India has
27:51maintained that the Union Territory
27:53of Jammu and Kashmir and
27:55the Union Territory of Ladakh
27:57are and will always be integral
27:59and inalienable parts
28:01of it. Shahbaz was accompanied
28:03to the airbase by Deputy Prime
28:05Minister Ishaq Dar,
28:07Defence Minister Khawaja Asif,
28:09Air Chief General Asif Munir,
28:11Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal
28:13Zaheer Ahmed Babur Sindhu.

34:39Apple making it clear that we are doing business with India.
34:42We are all set to make India a major manufacturing base,
34:47you know, notwithstanding what has been said
34:49by the U.S. President.
34:51Karishma.
34:53Well, state and government officials
34:55in the Indian government have been reiterating the fact
34:57that a major company like Apple would not just want
35:01to look at having a cost effective manufacturing,
35:06but also maintain competitiveness
35:08across its manufacturing units.
35:10And for that, India is the second best option after China.
35:13And while China is currently not their preferred option,
35:18despite the fact that their major units
35:20were manufactured there,
35:22India has successfully been able to produce
35:25close to about 40 million units per year,
35:28which is about 15% of Apple's annual unit.
35:31Now, going forward, it is expected that Apple
35:34may want to continue their ties with India,
35:37knowing, in fact, the kind of cost effective
35:40manufacturing competitiveness that we offer.
35:44And they may also look at ramping up their production,
35:47especially on the fact that now
35:49we have major manufacturing units
35:52in parts of Tamil Nadu and south of India,
35:54which could actually work complimentary to Apple's plans.
36:00But Karishma, getting in those details,
36:01as far as Apple's intentions are concerned,
36:04they have assured India that we are working with you.
36:08We are going to be manufacturing here.
36:09We are doing business with you.
36:13US President Donald Trump strikes again.
36:16Speaking in Qatar, the American president said
36:18that he had asked Apple's CEO, Tim Cook,
36:21not to build in India.
36:22He once again claimed high tariffs
36:24and made it tough for US companies to do business in India.
36:27Trump reiterated that he had helped India
36:29and Pakistan agree on a ceasefire.
36:32India has rejected Trump's claims.
36:34Here's more.
36:38US President Donald Trump bowls another googly at India,
36:42and this time on tariffs.
36:45I had a little problem with Tim Cook yesterday.
36:48I said to him, Tim, you're my friend.
36:49I've treated you very good.
36:50You're coming in with $500 billion,
36:52but now I hear you're building all over India.
36:54I don't want you building in India.
36:55You can build in India if you want to take care of India,
36:59because India's the highest,
37:01one of the highest tariff nations in the world.
37:04It's very hard to sell into India.
37:06I find it.
37:07Trump's statement comes just two days
37:09ahead of Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal's trip
37:12to Washington DC for trade talks.
37:15The American president has put the Narendra Modi government
37:18in a spot with his daily utterances,
37:21especially in his bid to take credit
37:23for the ceasefire between India and Pakistan.
37:28I don't want to say I did,
37:29but I sure as hell helped settle the problem
37:33between Pakistan and India last week,
37:35which was getting more and more hostile.
37:38And all of a sudden you'll start seeing missiles
37:41of a different type.
37:43And we got it settled.
37:45I hope I don't walk out of here and two days later
37:48find out that it's not settled.
37:49But I think it is settled.
37:51And we talked to them about trade.
37:53Let's do trade instead of do war.
37:56And Pakistan was very happy with that.
37:58And India was very happy with that.
38:00And I think they're on the way.
38:03Over the last six days,
38:05Trump has equated India and Pakistan,
38:08ignored terrorism sponsored by Pakistan
38:11and offered to mediate the Kashmir dispute.
38:14The Modi government has rejected Trump's assertions.
38:19Foreign Minister S.J. Shankar broke his silence on Thursday.
38:24Our relations, our dealings with them will be bilateral
38:28and strictly bilateral.
38:30That is a national consensus for many years.
38:34And there is absolutely no change in that consensus
38:38that dealings with Pakistan will be bilateral.
38:41J. Shankar also played down concerns on tariffs.
38:46Between India and US, trade talks have been going on.
38:49Negotiations have been going on.
38:51In fact, I think our team is just going at this point.
38:57These are very complicated negotiations.
38:59They are very intricate.
39:01Nothing is decided till everything is.
39:06Trump's repeated statements could be a ploy
39:09to put pressure on India.
39:11What would be the right way to respond to the US president
39:15remains the government's dilemma.
39:18Bureau report, India Today.
39:20More news coming in at this point in time.
39:22Let's take a look at these developments.
39:24It's got to do with India's water strike on Pakistan.
39:29India to expedite the construction of rattle
39:32and dal hasti power projects is what we're learning.
39:36Jammu and Kashmir Chief Secretary Atul Dullo
39:39and top officials from Power Department
39:42visit the dal hasti and rattle hydroelectric power project
39:47sites in Kishtwar in Jammu and Kashmir.
39:50Two more power project plants are being established
39:53on Chenab River in Kishtwar district.
39:56Chief Secretary reviewing the progress
39:59of both the power projects.
40:02Chief Secretary has asked officials concerned
40:05to expedite the pace of work on both the projects.
40:09I'm going straight across to Sunil for more on that.
40:11The Chief Secretary here planning and asking
40:14the officials concerned to resolve issues
40:16and enhance essentially the development
40:20of this infrastructure as per India's plans.
40:24Isn't it?
40:25Give us a sense of how Pakistan's Sunil
40:27has continuously been raising objections
40:30to both the projects many times.
40:34Sneha, after the horrific terror attack in Pahalgam,
40:38the government of India decided to keep the
40:41Indus water treaty in abeyance.
40:43And this decision was taken after the meeting
40:45of the cabinet committee on security.
40:48Now, you know, this thing is being implemented on ground
40:52because two hydroelectric power projects,
40:54Dulhasti power project and Ratle power project.
40:57The work is still on, but the work is going on
41:01on a slow pace because Pakistan has many times
41:03raised objections over both these projects.
41:06But now Chief Secretary of J&K government,
41:09Atal Zulu, along with top officials
41:11from the power department,
41:13visited both the power project sites
41:15in Kishtwar district of J&K yesterday.
41:18And he issued instructions to the concerned officials
41:21that the work should be expedited.
41:24And if there are any issues,
41:25they should be resolved as soon as possible.
41:27So government of India has shown a strong will.
41:30Now, the work on both these projects
41:33is now going to be expedited.
41:35It will generate electricity.
41:36It's going to benefit the people of J&K.
41:38And at the same time, it will also send out
41:42a strong message to Pakistan
41:43that India is not going to tolerate terrorism.
41:46We are going to stop every drop of water
41:49that is going towards Pakistan.
41:50That is the aim of the government
41:51in the longer term plan.
41:54Because the Jal Shakti Minister, C.R. Patil,
41:57has made it clear that the aim,
41:59the long-term plan is to stop the flow of water
42:02of three western rivers that goes towards Pakistan.
42:06That's right.
42:07You know, Sunil, I was coming to that.
42:08The manner in which this is going to essentially
42:11benefit the people of J&K is something
42:13that the leadership has also emphasized on.
42:16That enough of helping Pakistan,
42:18our own people are suffering.
42:20Let's build this infrastructure
42:21so that the people get the advantage.
42:23Talk to us about how this is going to help the people
42:28in J&K vis-a-vis, you know,
42:30the generation of electricity, for example.
42:34Absolutely, Sneha.
42:35This is going to benefit the people of J&K
42:38because even Chief Minister Umar Abdullah
42:41has said it many times that the people of J&K
42:44were never in favor of the 1960 Indus Water Treaty
42:48because this treaty was tilted in favor of Pakistan.
42:51Now that the government of India
42:52has kept the treaty in abeyance,
42:55so we are no longer bound to share any real-time data
42:59with Pakistan on the water flow, on the level of water.
43:03So it's a big message to Islamabad
43:05that we can stop the flow of water going towards Pakistan.
43:10And Pakistan is already rattled.
43:12It feels that it may not get enough water
43:15for the irrigation purposes.
43:17And that is why sources are telling us
43:18that the Pakistani government has raised it
43:21with the government of India
43:22that they should not do anything
43:23that stops the flow of water going towards Pakistan.
43:26So Pakistan is rattled.
43:27It has got a message that the government
43:30is going to carry out a major water strike.
43:32As far as these two power projects are concerned,
43:34Dulhasti and Rasli Power Projects,
43:36these are important power projects in J&K.
43:39These are going to generate electricity in J&K
43:42and this is going to benefit
43:44the people of J&K immensely.
43:46Sneha.
43:47All right, leaving it at that for the moment,
43:48Sunil Jeeb Bhatt getting us up to speed with those details,
43:51telling us about the plan of India
43:53to expedite the construction and finish these projects,
43:57wrap up these projects on time.
43:59Undoubtedly, it's going to be another water strike
44:03in that sense for Pakistan.
44:04India's water strike and punish Pakistan move here.
44:10The construction of two projects that will benefit,
44:12like Sunil was telling us,
44:14the people of Jammu and Kashmir at the end of the day.
44:17This had been a demand for a while now,
44:20India to expedite the construction
44:22of the Ratel and Dulhasti Power Project.
44:25Jammu and Kashmir Chief Secretary
44:28and top officials from the power department
44:30are here in Kishtwar to look at the execution
44:35of this project.
44:36This is going to be established
44:37on Chenab River in Kishtwar.
44:40India to launch a diplomatic blitz
44:42after Operation Sindhu.
44:44NDA MPs to expose Pakistan.
44:47MPs to visit the US, UK, Qatar and UAE.
44:51Senior MPs to lead foreign delegations
44:53is what we are learning.
44:56Members of Parliament of the NDA
44:58are going to go all out telling the world
45:00about Operation Sindhu.
45:02India to launch a diplomatic blitz
45:04after Operation Sindhu.
45:07MPs to visit the US, UK, Qatar and UAE.
45:11NDA MPs to expose Pakistan is what we are learning.
45:14NDA MPs to lead foreign delegations.
45:17NDA MPs to visit the US, UK, Qatar and UAE.
45:20NDA MPs to expose Pakistan is what we are learning.
45:23Himanshu's got more details on that big story
45:25that we are tracking very closely at this point in time.
45:29This is something that the BJP and the NDA,
45:32within the government also,
45:33a lot of conversation about how the world needs to know.
45:37It's an effort in the direction of
45:39telling your allies about what you did,
45:42why you did it,
45:43in that sense of diplomatic blitz, Himanshu.
45:47In different countries,
45:49different delegations will be sent,
45:51in which 5-6 MPs will be present.
45:54The leaders of these delegations will be senior MPs,
45:59whether they are from the NDA or the opposition parties.
46:02The first step from the government is
46:05whether it's the US, UK, UAE or Africa,
46:11in all those places or Qatar,
46:13different delegations will be sent
46:15to tell about the situation between Pakistan and India.
46:19For that, how Pakistan is responsible
46:21and how Pakistan supports terrorism.
46:25It does the work of supporting and nurturing terrorism.
46:32In India, the incidents of terrorism,
46:34the terrorists from Pakistan are involved in it.
46:39India has already taken action against them.
46:41India will go to these countries and clarify its situation
46:44and will tell how India is fighting terrorism,
46:47not against Pakistan.
46:49The MPs of different parties will go to these delegations,
46:53will lead them,
46:54and will interact with the government there.
46:57Along with that,
46:59they will interact with the different communities there
47:01and tell about the situation of India
47:03and how Pakistan is looking at it.
47:06India's fight is against terrorism, not against Pakistan.
47:11To connect, Himanshu Mishra,
47:12getting in those details this morning,
47:14telling us about the diplomatic blitz
47:16that India is all set to launch.
47:18MPs of the NDA, the ruling NDA,
47:21would be leading delegations,
47:22is what we are learning,
47:23and telling the world about Operation Sindoor.
47:27MPs would be going to the US,
47:29the United Kingdom,
47:30Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.
