S Jaishankar on Pakistan : ভারত-পাকিস্তান উত্তেজনার প্রেক্ষাপটে মুখ খুললেন ভারতের বিদেশমন্ত্রী। তিনি বলেন, পাকিস্তানের মাটিতে ভারতের প্রত্যাঘাত এতটাই কার্যকর ছিল যে, সেই ধাক্কায় দিশেহারা হয়ে পাকিস্তানই সংঘর্ষবিরতির আবেদন জানায়। বিদেশমন্ত্রীর দাবি, স্যাটেলাইট চিত্রে স্পষ্টভাবে দেখা গিয়েছে পাকিস্তানে বিভিন্ন স্থাপনায় ধ্বংসের চিহ্ন। তাঁর কথায়, “কে যুদ্ধবিরতি চেয়েছিল, তা আজ আর গোপন নেই। ছবিই সব বলছে।” এই মন্তব্য ঘিরে নতুন করে রাজনৈতিক উত্তেজনা ছড়িয়েছে দুই দেশের মধ্যে।

01:43that I think since the key goals were achieved I think we reasonably took the
01:51position that because even at that start even at the start of the operation we had
01:57sent a message to Pakistan saying we are striking at terrorist infrastructure we are
02:02not striking at the military so the military has an option of standing out and not
02:07interfering in this process they chose not to take that good advice. Now once they
02:15got hit as badly as they did on the morning of May 10th and all of you have
02:22seen the you know today the satellite pictures which actually bring out very
02:29graphically how much damage we did by the way the satellite pictures also bring
02:34out how little damage they did. So these pictures I think will tell you what a hit
02:40they took and the same people who are not willing to stand down on 7th May were
02:45willing to talk and stand down on the 10th May. It is very clear who wanted the
02:51cessation of firing.
