00:00Every election is tough. There's no easy election.
00:08And every election that I've gone through, they were all very tough.
00:13For a start, I always treat my opponents with great respect.
00:18Never take them for granted.
00:20And every opposition party that comes to challenge,
00:23whether it's in Chow Chukang, whether it's in Pongo,
00:26whether previously as an SMC in Chow Chukang, I treat them very seriously.
00:31I always feel that every battle is worth fighting
00:35because it is not just a battle against opposition,
00:39but it is also an opportunity for me to engage my residents,
00:44to reach out to my residents, to refresh the trust that I have with my residents
00:50and to deepen the relationship that I've built with my residents.
00:54So that's why I take every election seriously, regardless of who the opposition is.
01:00And I've been asked many times by the media,
01:02what's my assessment of my opponent of the opposition party that's coming to contest?
01:08My answer is always the same. My focus is on my residents.
01:12So I'll fight the battle the best I can,
01:15but the focus really is on how do I reach out and engage the residents?
01:19How do I explain to them who I am, let them understand me, especially in a new area like Pongo,
01:25which is more critical.
01:27When I moved from Holland Bukipanjang to Chow Chukang SMC, I did the same.
01:33Reach out to my residents, let them know who I am,
01:36and also want to know who they are and how I can serve them better.
01:39I think that has always been my focus.
01:41And that is the most difficult, the most challenging part.
01:45But I think if we do it well,
01:47that relationship that you build with the residents will last a long time.
01:51Pretty much.
01:53But really, it's just my plan to be here.
01:55But you know, I think we can have a great opportunity.
01:57I think we should have a lot of great opportunity.
01:59And the story is about the city of Colorado in the city.
02:01But you think it's about the city of Colorado?
02:03That's exactly what you do.
02:05That's exactly what you do.
02:07And the city of Colorado has always been the same.
02:09That's exactly what you see in the city of Colorado.
02:11And the city of Colorado is one of the city that everybody can see.
