00:18In Romans chapter 8, verse 11, it says,
00:21But if the spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his spirit that dwells in you.
00:31What a promise.
00:33The same spirit, that same resurrection power that raised Jesus Christ from the dead now lives in us.
00:39This isn't just poetic language.
00:42It's practical.
00:43It's an everyday truth.
00:44It means that we are not powerless.
00:47It means that we are not alone.
00:49It means that we are not the same before Jesus Christ found us.
00:54An author once put it this way.
00:56He said,
00:56The same power that conquered the grave lives in me.
00:59That means that I can do things which I could never do before.
01:03So what does this look like in real life?
01:07When we feel tired, we can ask for strength.
01:09When we're discouraged, we can speak life over our situation.
01:13When we feel stuck, the spirit can move things forward.
01:17Lord, I pray that the Holy Spirit lives through me today and watches whatever changes in my life.

01:26I thank God because he's filled me with the resurrection power and given us the ability to live in a new way of life.
