The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the revised schedule for the remainder of IPL 2025 on May 12. The 18th edition of the popular T20 tournament was earlier suspended for one week by the BCCI amid the rising tensions between India and Pakistan. However, the tournament is now set to restart on May 17 following a ceasefire between the two nations. The remainder of IPL 2025 (17 matches) will be played across six venues--Bengaluru, Jaipur, Delhi, Lucknow, Mumbai and Ahmedabad, with two double headers (May 18 and May 25). Qualifier 1 in IPL 2025 will now be played on May 29, while the Eliminator will follow a day later. June 1 is the new date for Qualifier 2 and the IPL 2025 final will be played on June 3. The venues for the IPL 2025 playoffs will be announced by the BCCI later. Also, the Punjab Kings vs Delhi Capitals clash, which was called off midway in Dharamsala, will be replayed on May 24.
