00:00Everyone, listen to this story carefully, because it's not just one man's story.
00:07It could easily be yours too. Life always gives us a chance to change.
00:12But if we don't wake up in time, no one else can save us.
00:16There once was a man named Ramesh. Today, he is 48 years old.
00:22When he looks back at his life, all he can see is regret.
00:27Regret that he created. Ramesh had a childhood just like any other child.
00:34But while other children dreamed of becoming something, studied hard and planned for their future.
00:41Ramesh lived only for fun. His parents always tried to guide him.
00:46Son, study hard. Life is not easy. Work for your future, they would lovingly say.
00:55But Ramesh never listened. He thought school was a burden.
01:00He believed life was meant for enjoyment, not hard work.
01:04When his mother would gently wake him for school, he would pretend to sleep.
01:09He hated wearing the school uniform, spending time wandering the streets, chatting with friends, staring at movie posters.
01:18That was his world.
01:20In the beginning, it all felt like fun, as if every day was a holiday.
01:26But slowly and silently, he was hollowing the very foundation of his future.
01:32When Ramesh failed his tenth grade exams, his mother's eyes filled with tears.
01:39But he laughed it off, saying,
01:42No worries, I'll pass next time.
01:44Next time, too, he failed.
01:47Eventually, he dropped out of school.
01:49His parents scolded him.
01:51Relatives like his uncle Rajesh tried to explain.
01:55But Ramesh's world was different.
01:58He stayed lost in his careless life.
02:01The second blow came at the age of twenty.
02:04He noticed that the same friends he once roamed the streets with had moved on.
02:09Some were in college, some preparing for jobs, and one even joined the army.
02:15And Ramesh, still wandering the same streets, doing nothing.
02:20Even then, he did not wake up.
02:23The third blow came when his father, Harish, opened a small shop for him.
02:28Son, work hard. Build your life, he said.
02:33But Ramesh closed the shop in just two months.
02:36I don't like it, he said casually.
02:39The truth was, he never liked responsibility.
02:43Slowly, everyone started moving away from him.
02:47His mother spoke less.
02:49His father became silent.
02:51Even his friends drifted away, busy with their careers, families, and dreams.
02:57And Ramesh?
02:59He sat at the same street corner, lost in an imaginary world.
03:04Then came the darkest day of his life.
03:07His mother passed away.
03:09And Ramesh wasn't even there.
03:11He was at a movie with friends.
03:14When he came home, he saw everyone crying.
03:18His father sat on the ground, hollow-eyed.
03:21For the first time, Ramesh felt what true loss meant.
03:25But by then, it was too late.
03:27As Ramesh crossed 30, he tried looking for jobs.
03:31But who would give him one?
03:33He had no degree.
03:35No skills.
03:37For some time, he washed dishes at a small hotel.
03:41Did random labor work, but couldn't stick to anything.
03:44He was too used to the freedom he once celebrated.
03:48Now that freedom felt like a burden.
03:51Then, his father Harish also left this world.
03:55Now the house was empty.
03:57And so was Ramesh's heart.
04:00Relatives stopped visiting.
04:02They called him useless, a failure.
04:05Today, at 48, Ramesh runs a tiny tea stall near a railway station.
04:11Every morning, workers come by, have tea, and hand him a few rupees.
04:16Or sometimes promise to pay later.
04:19He no longer complains, because now he finally understands what life is.
04:26He realizes now that ignoring his parents' advice was his biggest mistake.
04:32Thinking that school was a burden was his foolishness.
04:37Wasting time was his greatest defeat.
04:40He now knows that real friends are not those who roam the streets with you.
04:45Real friends are those who push you forward when you are about to fall.
04:50Today, Ramesh's pockets are empty.
04:53But his heart is heavy with regret.
04:56He often sits alone, wondering,
04:58If only I had understood at the right time.
05:01Maybe today, I would have been someone my parents were proud of.
05:05Maybe I would have had a home, a family, and belief in myself.
05:10His days now pass making tea.
05:13His nights pass in loneliness.
05:15And yet there's still a small flame of hope in his heart.
05:19I don't want you to ruin your life like I did.
05:22Ramesh wishes to tell every young person.
05:25If you are between 15 and 20 years old, learn from my life.
05:30Time is precious.
05:33Don't waste it.
05:35Listen to your parents.
05:36School and college are not just about degrees.
05:40They build your thinking.
05:42Choose friends who lift you, not pull you down.
05:45Life isn't easy, but hard work makes it easier.
05:49Learn from my mistakes.
05:51I can't go back now, but you still can.
05:54Remember, if life feels like a game, be careful.
05:59Because when life starts playing games with you, it only leaves you defeated.
06:04I fell many times.
06:06You stand tall.
06:08I wasted time.
06:09You respect it.
06:11I broke relationships.
06:13You build them.
06:14I lost myself.
06:16You find yourself.
