00:00DRS, I was outside MSG on Saturday, just wanting to be a part of the crowd,
00:05wanting to be a part of the spectacle.
00:07It was incredible theater until the actual game started and the Celtics
00:13absolutely routed the New York Knicks.
00:15A 22-point win for Boston to win their first game in the second round set, 115-93.
00:22The Celtics led by 16 points after quarter number one, 24, 25 points, excuse me,
00:29after half number one.
00:31It was all Boston in game number three.
00:34And frankly, it's kind of a nightmare scenario now for the New York Knicks.
00:39It is.
00:40It really is.
00:40Because the winner of game number three, as I stated, is going to win this series.
00:43Well, wait a second, Donnie.
00:45Two to one, no big deal.
00:46The Knicks still have game number four in their building.
00:48They win that.
00:48They'll take advantage of that series.
00:49And they can still do that.
00:51But we understand this.
00:52You know, there's a tale of a few different halves, right?
00:55Where it's like games number one and games number two.
00:57We didn't get great shooting out of the Boston Celtics.
00:59They lost really close affairs.
01:01So my whole theory and handicap was, well, what happens when the Boston Celtics return
01:05back to being the Boston Celtics?
01:07And they don't shoot above average.
01:08They're just average.
01:09They would have won games number one and game number two in their own building.
01:12But they didn't.
01:13So let's see what they do in game number three.
01:14Because if that bad shooting continues, they won't win game number three.
01:17What happened right off the bat?
01:19They were actually slain from three-point range.
01:2250% from three on the road in a hostile environment, 20 of 40, which is exactly the remedy for winning
01:29a basketball game for the Celtics.
01:30We understand the regular season.
01:32It's not necessarily live by the three, die by the three, because the Celtics can do much
01:35more than that.
01:36But they really take advantage of the three-point line.
01:38We were wondering if they just got back to 33%, 34% from three-point range.
01:44That's good enough for victories.
01:45But the fact that they came right in the garden, dropped 36 points in that first quarter, a ton
01:50of three-point shots, then 35 in the second quarter, three-point shots as well, you knew
01:54they were here to stay.
01:56And you felt that energy leaving the garden early on.
01:59It's a three-point game.
02:00It's a six-point game.
02:01It's a 10-point game.
02:02It's a 12-point game.
02:03It's like, man, they're not missing from three.
02:05That's where we cashed our tickets here, where they built leads, but couldn't make a three-point
02:09shot so we could come back.
02:10And maybe the Celtics are like, hey, man, been there, down multiple times already in this series.
02:14It's game number three.
02:16They weren't able to do that even or come back in the second half because a 25-24 win
02:20in the third quarter was monumental, which showed the Boston Celtics aren't going to
02:24let this game slip away.
02:25If the three-point shot is going down at an average clip for the Celtics, there's no way
02:30the New York Knicks can beat them.
