01:27Nassim Hamed began his flamboyant boxing career at a local gym in Sheffield England when he was
01:36barely out of the first grade you start teaching him the basics and he just got better and better
01:43but from seven seven years of age he was never out of here every day he came in here every day and
01:47trained years of hard work and dedication finally paid off at only 21 years of age Hamed had already
01:56knocked out 17 of his 19 opponents and had earned his first shot at a world title against Steve Robinson
02:05knowing that I was going to be a world champion has always been in my heart
02:09I've always wanted it I wanted it so bad and I went out and got it
02:13WBO featherweight champion of the world the incredible unbelievable Prince Nassim
02:22Since winning the title nine months ago the man known as Prince Nassim insists the fast cars

04:29hostile fans by the end of the fight the Prince had won over the crowd there's no doubt as to his enormous
04:36popularity here in England but Ferdy how would you compare how would you measure his appeal his popularity
04:41with that of other British well he's coming on like Nigel Benn began nobody liked him he was too

05:08public he's just the best your expectations for tonight and a prediction I think it's gonna be a
05:13tough little fight for the Prince and if he doesn't get surprised the Prince should win and continue

05:26U.S. may be wondering if Hamed is legit or hype Bobby your assessment well Steve with a guy who's as
05:32charismatic as he is with all the antics and the flair there has to be some hype thrown in but he's
05:36unquestionably a talent good talent he has an incredible defense that you almost can't hit him
05:41twice in a row with two punches cleanly he's good punch with both hands I think he gives any world
05:46champion a good rough tumble but we can't gauge him till he fights the Boom Boom Johnsons or the
05:50Vasquez's now the undefeated Alicea a former world junior champ is an exciting prospect with lots of
05:55polish but experience is a question only 15 fights is he a test for Hamed Bobby who's not been tested to
06:01this point you know he's a better test than maybe he's had recently he's 5'7 tremendous height good
06:06reach a good puncher a lot of knockouts much like the Prince but I don't think he's quite there yet
06:11one of my biggest worst is he's only been eight rounds never 10 or 12 and that's difficult in
06:16championship fights to not have been the route so I think all the edges in this favor in this
06:20great case favor the champion well let's take a look at the temperature Alisaa we asked Alisaa how do
06:31you prepare for a fighter like Hamed who's so unique in style and demeanor in stark contrast to Hamed's
06:38bombastic and explosive electrifying personality Alisaa calmly said he realized that Hamed tries to
06:46make you look bad so he's ready for all of the mental games he told us he won't look at Hamed's
06:52antics and histrionics before the fight I guess that's easy enough to say but I wonder how you block
06:57out the crowd reaction and the whole circus environment which is about to begin as soon as

07:14with 13 knockouts his first world title shot and you hear the crowd reaction the pro Nassim crowd here
07:24in England Bobby what do you think of this kid we know he's got tremendous height and reach for that
07:30lighter weight only 126 pounds five seven he seems to have good boxing skills I've seen some tape on
07:35him not any of his full fights if he can really punch well his defense is good he should be a nice
07:40little test for Nassim and you know he didn't have a tremendous amount of respect for Nassim he
07:44called him a dwarf yeah those were very sharp words by Daniel Alisaa the question is how do you get
07:54close enough to a fighter that nobody's been able to get close to yet and that's the question for

31:09So it really does appear bobby chez that
31:13He brings the real goods to the table well, he's certainly a great punch
31:16He's got an elusive defense. It's just uncanny how quickly he can jump out of the way punches
31:20But he got hit by a fighter. It's not azuma nelson. He got hurt. He was down

31:36Tonight quite a night beginning of course with what we saw earlier tonight of the wba super middleweight championship a foul-plagued affair
31:42But also in the main event for the first time we saw prince nasim hamed get tested to some extent
31:49Although it was a flash knockdown of the first round. He was able to bounce back and
31:53And win in very explosive fashion and even though it was a flash knockdown
31:56He got hit by three good straight right hands from a fighter who doesn't have the right hand the power or the tools of an azuma nelson
32:02Or a tom boom boom johnson or vasquez or any of the champion those fighters can hurt you badly
32:08Straight time so this is this was a test one. This was certainly a test
32:11He had to get off the floor to show his championship qualities and in the lyle's littles fight
32:16That was a barn burner. That was just a good old-fashioned street fight. Well, the interesting thing about nasim hamed bobby as you know

32:24With cruiserweights and heavyweights and leading up to this. I read that and a couple of the heavyweights said we don't hold back at all

32:32And i'm still gonna have trouble swallowing that one because i know i couldn't spar with him and not hold back
32:36We just wouldn't be able to do it because he's such a small guy, but he is unique
