00:00My name is Indie Hartwell. I'm from Melbourne, Australia.
00:12You know, growing up in Australia, I was a huge wrestling fan.
00:17Sitting on the couch, being bored, flicking through the channels.
00:21I remember seeing on the TV guide, TNA Wrestling.
00:25I remember clicking on it and it just opened up a whole new world.
00:30I remember watching the knockouts kill it every week.
00:34And I remember thinking how I wanted to be like them.
00:40Eventually as I got older, I got a job at Toys R Us.
00:44And why would anyone want a job at Toys R Us?
00:47But for me, I wanted that employee discount.
00:50I wanted to get 20% off wrestling merchandise.
00:54I would spend all my paychecks on wrestling merch, action figures.
00:59I have a huge TNA DVD collection.
01:03I think I've got like three copies of the same DVD.
01:07But those plastic belts, man.
01:09That's why I'm here.
01:11I want to turn those plastic belts into the real thing.
01:15I remember watching the knockouts like Gail Kim, Tara, the beautiful people, ODB.
01:25These women were having these long matches.
01:29They were killing it in the ring.
01:31And they were getting the recognition and the appreciation that they deserved.
01:35Which was something that wasn't really seen at the time.
01:39And now I'm proud to say that I'm a part of that roster.
01:43And I'm going to be a part of that history.
01:45I'm going into my ninth year of wrestling.
01:49I've been through all the highs, all the lows, the slips and slides.
01:55I've been wrestling on worldwide television.
01:57I wrestled all over the globe.
01:59Until that was all taken away from me.
02:03People think that that's the end of the world.
02:07But I'm just getting started.
02:10If I were to go back and speak to that little girl that discovered TNA on TV.
02:15If I were to ask her, do you think you would have done all that you did and achieved all you achieved.
02:21I would say, bloody oath.
02:24I know who I am.
02:26I know what I'm capable of.
02:28And I'm ready to show everyone exactly what that is.
02:33A few months before I came to TNA, I sat down with a really good friend of mine.
02:41Talking about my goals for the future.
02:44That's kind of the moment that I realized that I want to be part of TNA.
02:50But I don't just want to be a knockout.
02:54I want to be the knockout.
