00:00Hey everybody, welcome back to Moscow, welcome back to the Moscow Mutals.
00:19I'm kind of squeezing this thing on top of the day job, yeah?
00:21I'm in the middle of Red Square, right bang in the middle.
00:24My friends, Mr. Putin and Mr. Shee are joining the party, as are more than 11,000 soldiers, hundreds of tanks, lots of aircraft, and we're going to be here with a little glimpse of the show.

01:59What's most strange about it is, I can see a single microwave washing machine or air flyer in sight.
02:06Maybe the Russians are running out after all.
02:09Russia's financial sector is on life support.
02:13We have cut off three quarters of Russia's banking sector from international markets.
02:18Nearly 1,000 international companies have left the country.
02:22The production of cars fell by 75% compared to last year.
02:27The air of flood is grounding planes because there are no more spare parts.
02:34The Russian military is taking chips from dishwashers and refrigerators to fix their military hardware because there are no semiconductors anymore.
02:46Russia's industry is in tatters.
02:48And the 2% we are now is absolutely not enough.
02:57When you look what Russia is producing now in three months, it's what the whole of NATO is producing from Los Angeles up to Ankara in a full year.
03:06Let's not forget what this is all about, guys.
03:08This is all about a certain group of people, the Deutschlanders.
03:12They wanted to roll over the border in 1941.
03:15But they didn't just want to go to war with the Russians.
03:17They wanted to wipe them out.
03:19They cut off the border.
03:39He tries to break a weapon again, but his fate is quickly destroyed.
04:39And guess what?
04:43They're so mad about freedom and democracy in Europe that they basically banned anybody
04:47even wearing this ribbon, the George's ribbon, which commemorates the great victory over
04:52Nazism.
04:53So these are the Germans forbidding people celebrating the victory over the Germans.
04:58Yeah, it kind of makes sense, but they were Nazis after all.
05:01But on top of that, anyone who did want to come here, like Mr. Bucic, the Serbian president,
05:05or Robert Fiso from Slovakia, they were actually threatened.
05:09They were told that they couldn't even fly through Estonia's airspace.
05:12What's Estonia going to do?
05:14Shoot them down with a slingshot or a canapult.
05:16Just shows you they still mean business.
05:18They haven't gone away, you know.
05:19They haven't gone away, you know.
05:49They haven't gone away, you know.
06:00We have a lot of interest here, and we have a lot of interest here, and we have a lot of interest here, and we have a lot of interest here.
06:07I want to know that in the way that I've done what I've done in Serbia, I've never been able to do it, and when I come, I'll say that we're going to leave the EU.
06:20And nothing is clear about that. But the people who have always shown love, who are faithful, who are faithful to their families, and who show respect for my work, will be a great thank you.
06:33And here in Moscow, at the end of every place in the world, I love Serbia.
06:5027 million people died in this conflict, over 13 million soldiers, destroying the vast majority of the Wehrmacht's fighting power.
06:59It was the Russians. The Russians made it 60% of the Soviets.
07:02So guess what, Mr. Trump? I'm going to rethink the old history book out.
07:06And I'm pleased to announce that I've just signed a proclamation officially designating tomorrow, May 8th, as a victory day for World War II,
07:17commemorating the 80th anniversary of America's victory in the Second World War.
07:23All over the globe, our World War II allies are celebrating this week.
07:28But the United States has never joined in with the proper celebration of our own.
07:35And the victory was mostly accomplished because of us.
07:39Whether you like it or not, we came into that war, and we won that war,
07:45and we had a lot of help from a lot of great people, a lot of great allies.
07:50But I think there would be nobody that would say that we were not the dominant force in that war.
07:55But it's not just soldiers, it's not just leaders, it's not just politicians that are celebrating here today.
08:00It's ordinary people.
08:01Because it's the ordinary people of the Soviet Union who sacrificed most,
08:04leaving the towns, the villages, the factories, many, many, never to return.
08:09So it's an important day for ordinary people.
08:12And the great grandkids and the grandkids of those heroes have fought to defend the world from Naziism here today.
08:29And there are some very special visitors here today.
08:53Vietnam.
08:54On your own place, it's a little bit more complete.
08:55It's a bit more expensive because you know the way.
08:56It's great.
08:57It's a little bit more equipment.
08:58We have to take you a touch on them.
08:59It's a great place up to go and pick up the military fuel.
09:00Thank you very much.
09:01Like, what О'll that be done?
09:02You know that's a good place.
09:03And you can't do a big deal of your money.
09:04Let's take up.
09:05And let's take a deep breath.
09:07But let's take care of the plane.
09:09I know the plane is getting a huge shock.
09:10You can't do like the plane.
09:11You know the plane is getting huge, please.
09:12And you know that it's a big deal.
09:13Your exercise form is really amazing.
09:14Now there's a big deal.
09:16Many other places, but everyone's going to have their eye on the Chinese.
09:26I saw them practicing the other day here.
09:28It was really remarkable.
09:30These boys are looking sharp.
09:31And they've made their way, you know, across the ocean, across the seas, no, actually across
09:36the border up north.
09:41Russia and China, as we know, getting closer and closer, good mates, good friends, huge
10:01economic ties, energy ties, military cooperation.
10:04And that military cooperation is going to be demonstrated here on Red Square today when
10:10the Chinese army, the People's Army or the People's Republic of China are going to be
10:16here.
10:17They're looking pretty sharp.
10:21And the Russian boys aren't going to get out done either.
10:26And we know that in Europe, history itself has been erased.
10:37Suddenly, it was the Americans, the French and the British actually won the war against
10:41the Nazis.
10:42The next thing the Germans will be telling us that they won the war against the Nazis themselves.
10:58Yeah.
10:59That's probably what's coming up, Mr. von der Leyen.
11:01But guess what?
11:02It's about reality.
11:03And now, thanks to AI, we can marry the words of what people said back then, like Roosevelt
11:08and Churchill, and their photographs, their images, and create incredible, incredible information.
11:14It's like reaching back in time.
11:15Let's have a listen to what they have to say.
11:17It doesn't really match with the EU's current propaganda.
11:24No two militaries are more intertwined than ours.
11:29No two countries have done more together to keep people safe.
11:33And in a few weeks, we mark VE Day, the 80th anniversary of victory in Europe.
11:40Britain and America fought side by side to make that happen.
11:44I shall take the occasion to repeat tomorrow in the House of Commons what I've said before.
11:55That it is the Russian army that tore the guts out of the German military machine.
12:03And is, at the present moment, holding by far the larger portion of the enemy on its front.
12:22So that's the end of our special today from Moscow.
12:25Of course, it's not your usual Moscow mules, not so many laughs.
12:29Because there's nothing really funny about what happened here in Russia and across the Soviet Union.
12:33The sacrifice from every village, every town, as I say, it's granular.
12:37This is a living history here in Russia.
12:39Most of the men and women marching here today have relatives, family stories to tell about that terrible time.
12:46And this great, massive, grey army rolled over the borders of the Soviet Union
12:50and wiped out villages and towns, committed terrible atrocities against women and children.
12:55It really is a brutal history.
12:57But it's a history that lives on here in Russia.
12:59It's a very, very proud day for the people of Russia.
13:02And it's probably more important now to remember the truth and reality about what happened in the Second World War
13:08and who made the biggest sacrifice to defeat the Nazis.
13:11It's probably more important today than it's ever been.
13:14See you next week.
13:52Bye.
14:20Bye.
14:21Bye.
14:22Bye.
14:23Bye.
14:24Bye.
14:25Bye.
14:31Bye.
14:52Bye.
14:53Bye.
14:54Bye.
