More easter eggs and references than you can shake a spork at. Here’s our breakdown of the first Doctor Who 60th anniversary special - The Star Beast!
Transcript
00:00Hello everybody, Ellie here with Who Culture. What a weekend we've had. I can't believe I'm
00:05finally saying it, but we have seen the first of the three anniversary specials. We have seen the
00:10Star Beast. So much excitement, so much excitement. If you haven't seen our ups and downs review of
00:17that episode, then I'd suggest checking that out. In that video, I said that the easter eggs would
00:23be coming separately, so guess what we're going to talk about today? I do not doubt for a second
00:27that I have missed some, but when I tell you that we have been scouring the episode frame by frame
00:32for a considerable amount of time, I'm not even exaggerating. But if we have missed something,
00:36then do let us know, but let's get started. Number 40. Obviously, we've got quite a few easter
00:42eggs just in that opening recap, because there are loads of flashbacks to episodes of series 4.
00:47So we start with the first shot being from the episode Forest of the Dead, with the Doctor and
00:53Donner inside the TARDIS, where he snaps his fingers. Then we have a shot of the TARDIS
00:58flying through space, and that is from the episode The Parting of the Ways and the Stolen Earth,
01:03because it's actually a reused shot, and we've actually got a list about that very thing
01:08coming very soon, so stay tuned for that. Then we've got the Empress of the Ragnos from
01:13The Runaway Bride. Starle the Undefeated from the Sontaran Stratagem. Then we have the Shadow
01:19Proclamation HQ, which we see in The Stolen Earth, and it pops up again in The Magician's
01:25Apprentice, again because it is a reused shot. And then most importantly, we have a lot of shots
01:31of the Doctor Donner coming into being from Journey's End and The Stolen Earth and the
01:37Metacrisis coming into being. And then finally, we have the moment that the Doctor wipes Donner's
01:42mind at the end of Journey's End. Number 39. So obviously, this section, we have the breaking
01:48of the fourth wall, but this actually is not the first time in Doctor Who that this has happened.
01:52We have the 12th Doctor doing the same thing in Heaven's Sent, and also Martha Jones does it in
01:57Journey's End, and the fourth Doctor also does it in The Invasion of Time. But probably the most
02:03iconic example of this happening is again from the 12th Doctor. It's his bootstrap paradox speech
02:09from before the flood. So as I said, this is not the first time that we've seen breaking of the
02:13fourth wall in Doctor Who. Number 38. So then we go into the title sequence. This is the first time
02:21that we have seen David Tennant and Catherine Tate's names together, just those two, since
02:26Midnight. Number 37. Speaking of those opening title sequences, we have a credit, as I mentioned
02:32in the ups and downs, for Pat Mills and Dave Gibbons, who are the original creators of the Starbeast
02:39comic strip from the 1980s. I'm fairly certain this is the first time that we've seen this happen
02:44as well. We have had episodes that have been adapted from a previous story, but they've been
02:49adapted by the original writer, and so we haven't had to credit original story creators and the writer
02:55of the episode because they are one and the same. So for example, we had Paul Cornell, who adapted his
03:00own story for series three with Human Nature and the Family of Blood, and we also had Gareth
03:05Roberts, who adapted his own comic strip for The Lodger in series five. Number 36. So obviously
03:11we then have the reunion of the Doctor and Donna, and this is the first time that they have seen each
03:18other since Donna's wedding at the end of The End of Time part two, although Donna doesn't see him
03:23at the wedding and he only sees her from afar, so if we're gonna really really dig into it, this is the
03:29first time they've spoken to each other since he left her at the end of Journey's End and she didn't
03:35know who he was. He said, Donna, I'm going now, and she goes, yeah, see ya. How sad was that interaction
03:40as well? So yeah, it's been over 15 years since they've spoken to each other and we finally have
03:46that reunion. Number 35. So obviously then we have Donna calling for Rose. Rose is a name in itself that
03:53is very integral to David Tennant's Doctor in particular, so that in itself is very significant,
03:58and the response that we get from the Doctor to Donna calling Rose is the iconic, what? The three
04:04times, what? What? What? These were the first words that were spoken during that very first interaction
04:10between Donna and the Doctor all the way back in The Runaway Bride. Donna materializes in the TARDIS
04:15and the Doctor goes, what? And then it's all very, what? What? What? And like I said in the ups and downs,
04:22drinking game, how many times anyone says the word what? But this became a bit of a theme, a bit of an
04:27iconic thing for David Tennant's Doctor. He repeated that word countless times throughout the rest of
04:32his run, and then that tradition then came back when he regenerated at the end of The Power of the
04:38Doctor. Number 34. So as I just mentioned, obviously it deserves to be in the count itself. Rose is very
04:45significant to this situation. When Donna first calls for Rose, the Doctor clearly isn't aware that it's
04:52her daughter, and we think is Rose Tyler going to appear, and so that in itself is very, very important
04:57and a very relevant name to see here. So it deserves to be in a category of its own. Number 33. So Rose has
05:04a little side business making stuffed toys that she sends to Dubai. This could be a nod to the 2008 novel
05:11Beautiful Chaos, in which Wilf hides Donna's travels with the Doctor from Sylvia by claiming that
05:18she's gone horse riding in Dubai. Also Dubai is where they filmed Planet of the Dead, so that desert
05:24location was in Dubai. So it's just maybe another little connection to David Tennant and Russell T.
05:29Davis and that era of Doctor Who. Number 32. So then of course we have the spaceship crashing, and of course
05:36Donna has her back turned. Now this seems to be a running joke for the character of Donna. In the end of time
05:41she misses, you know, Gallifrey appearing in the sky. After she wakes up having her memory wiped, and people are
05:47phoning her and saying there's planets in the sky, and she's like, what have I missed now? She just
05:50always seems to miss the things that are happening. In The Runaway Bride, she says that she missed the
05:55Sycorax ship flying over London because she had a bit of a hangover. And also in the episode Turn Left,
06:01all of the moments that obviously happen because the Doctor is no longer there to stop them, she seems
06:06to miss most of those as well because she's just looking the other way or she's too busy. So it's just a
06:11running theme that Donna always misses all of these major events by having her back turned or being
06:16asleep or being hungover. Number 31. Then Donna calls the Doctor skinny man. Now this is something
06:23that she called the Doctor quite often throughout series four. In Journey's End she calls the Doctor
06:29and the Metacrisis Doctor skinny boys in suits. She also claims in the Sontaran stratagem that if you
06:34hug him you'll get a paper cut. So it's just a running joke that Donna always makes about
06:39David Tennant's incarnation of the Doctor being very skinny. Don't just stand there you skinny boys in
06:45suits. Get to work. Number 30. So when the Doctor goes to get into Sean's taxi and Sean says that the
06:53roads are all being closed, the Doctor gets out his psychic paper and he says he's the grandmaster
06:58of the knowledge. And then Sean says that's his grandmistress and he tells the psychic paper to catch
07:02up. Obviously referencing the fact that he was Jodie Whittaker not that long ago. And then what word does
07:08he use getting into the taxi? Allonsie. We have the famous Allonsie which obviously was a word that
07:14the Tenth Doctor used quite often or a phrase that the Tenth Doctor used quite often throughout his
07:19run. Number 29. So then when the Doctor is trying to get some information out of Sean about Donna's
07:24current situation he says that he is a friend of Nerys. Now Nerys is a friend of Donna's but kind of
07:31more of a frenemy. She was in attendance to both of Donna's weddings but it seems that Donna kind of
07:37had a love-hate relationship with Nerys. But it was good to hear that name drop in there again.
07:42I think a lot of people just... It seemed familiar to them obviously because we've seen her before.
07:49Number 28. And then of course the question we were all asking. The lottery ticket. At the end of The
07:54End of Time Part 2 the Doctor gives Donna a winning lottery ticket as a wedding present. And we all wanted
08:00to know what had happened to those lottery winnings. Especially a clip that was released a few days before the
08:06episode aired that suggested that they they were not rich. So where's all the money gone? And so that
08:10was referenced there. You know what happened? Donna gave it all away. Number 27. So then we have a
08:17newsreader that's standing outside the steel mill where the the ship has crashed or landed. The mill is
08:25called Milsson Wagner Steelworks. And this is a really clever nod to Pat Mills and John Wagner who were
08:33the original writers for that Starbeast comic story. And also as a side note that the news reporter
08:41section is a very RTD1 thing. We've mentioned before that we wanted to see Trinity Wells back. Now
08:47obviously we didn't see Trinity Wells here because it wasn't a global story. It seemed like there was
08:51only that one presenter there and well it didn't end well for him. I don't know that we've seen a news
08:56reporter at all in the Moffat or Chibnall episodes. I could be wrong. Let me know if I'm wrong but I
09:04can't recall any. Whereas in RTD1 that was a very common thing to see when a kind of alien situation
09:10occurred. Number 26. So when Rose and Donna are walking home we have the the boys from Rose's school
09:19cycling past and calling Rose by her dead name which is Jason. This is significant because while
09:26we later learn that Rose chose her own name and the significance of Rose choosing that particular name
09:32the fact that Donna named her newborn baby boy at the time Jason is significant because the name
09:40Jason means healer. Healer obviously could then be translated to doctor and so it suggests that even
09:48when Donna's baby was born she had the doctor in her subconscious and chose a name that translated
09:53to that. That's so clever. That's so clever. I really love that detail. Number 25. Now as I said at the
10:00beginning I have been going through this episode frame by frame and by doing so I have spotted something
10:06that I'm not saying no one else has spotted it but I haven't seen it pop up anywhere yet. But if you look
10:12very closely on a shelf in Donna's kitchen we have Sporky. We have a little model Sporky on the shelf.
10:20This could mean nothing it's just a decoration in their house but we also know that we have Disney
10:24involvement in Doctor Who now and so it feels a little bit like just a kind of Disney easter egg
10:29in there and we know that Pixar in particular are very big on their easter eggs so it feels really
10:34fitting that we've got a Pixar character as an easter egg in this new Disney collaboration. And there is
10:39also another Toy Story easter egg later on in the episode when they are sneaking through the house
10:45after they've gone through the different lofts and they're sneaking out of the house there is a man
10:49sleeping on his sofa with a bowl of crisps. And this is a reference to Toy Story 2 when Woody is
10:55trying to sneak past Al who is asleep with a bowl of Cheetos. It's very clearly a nod to that scene as
11:02well. So I'm assuming that that is why we have Toy Story references in this episode to do with the
11:07Disney and Pixar easter egg situation and the yeah the Disney involvement with Doctor Who. I was very
11:12proud of myself for noticing that particular easter egg so give myself a pat on the back.
11:17Number 24. So when Sylvia and Donna are in the kitchen together Sylvia is trying to distract
11:22Donna from talking about the spaceship and she says, guess who I saw? Susie Mare. Now at the end
11:27of Journey's End when Donna's memory has been wiped she is on the phone and she says,
11:31Susie Mare wouldn't lie not unless it was about calories. Susie Mare wouldn't lie not unless it
11:38was about calories. And it's just a little joke but Susie Mare is another character, another person
11:45in Donna's life and so again it's just nice to have a little name drop there and hear about Susie
11:50Mare. Number 23. Also noticed in the kitchen in the house lots of apples. Lots of apples that Sylvia
11:57presumably maybe has brought for for for Donna. Well you know the saying, an apple a day keeps
12:02the doctor away and we really well we know that Sylvia definitely doesn't want Donna to remember
12:06the doctor so it just feels like a little a little wink wink nudge nudge. An apple a day keeps the
12:11doctor away so look there's loads of apples we don't want Donna remembering. Number 22. We then meet
12:16Rose's friend Fudge. Fudge was a character in the original Starbeast comic strip and in that original
12:24strip. Fudge is actually the one who discovers and looks after Meep with Sharon Davies. Now obviously
12:29in this story that is replaced by Rose who takes in Meep but it's nice to see that we have a nod and
12:36a reference to the original characters from that original comic story. Number 21. We also have a lot
12:42of musical callbacks in this episode. As we all know Murray Gold has returned to compose the music for
12:48these specials and for the upcoming seasons with Shuti Gatwa as well and there are probably plenty
12:55we've missed but there are just a few significant ones that we did notice. We've had snippets of Ten's
13:00theme throughout the episode especially when the TARDIS first lands right at the beginning. We also
13:05then have Donna's theme seeping through at moments as well. We have it when we have the whole Rose
13:10Watt situation. We also hear it when Sean is explaining what Donna did with the lottery money and when we
13:16have the doctor making his sonic hologram. We hear little snippets of what sounds like Ten's theme
13:23again but we also have maybe a little bit of validation which is part of his regeneration
13:28theme and also slight motifs of the shepherd's boy as well so we do have a lot of musical references
13:33throughout the episode which personally I love because I love the score. Number 20. So then we meet
13:39Shirley Ann Bingham who is unit scientific advisor number 56. Now as we learn right here the
13:46doctor says I was number one so this is a role that originated all the way back in the 1970s in
13:51Spearhead from Space where the third doctor took on that role and we've also got some other iconic
13:57names who previously took on that role. We have Malcolm Taylor who we see in Planet of the Dead
14:02and we also have Petronella Osgood. Now the fact that we now have Shirley as the scientific advisor
14:08does make you wonder is that no more of Osgood? Presumably there's only one if we now have Shirley
14:14I'm assuming that means that Osgood is gone and we're not going to see her again which may make
14:19some people a little bit sad but at least we have Shirley. Number 19. So also in that chat with
14:25Shirley the doctor reveals that he had a bow tie, he was a Scotsman and he was a woman. Clearly that's
14:30references to being Matt Smith, being Peter Capaldi, being Jodie Whittaker, 11, 12 and 13 respectively but
14:36it's nice to just acknowledge those previous incarnations and remind ourselves that this is not
14:4010. This is a new incarnation who has all those memories and knows about all, all that's happened
14:46to those other three incarnations in the gap. Number 18. We then have a unit soldier mentioned
14:52to Shirley that an order has come from Geneva. Now Geneva is kind of where unit's central base
14:59is. It's mentioned several times over the years that orders come from Geneva, things go above Geneva
15:04or as high as Geneva and most recently it was mentioned by Kate in series 8's Death in Heaven
15:10so it's a relevant location in relation to unit. Number 17. Obviously it's revealed later on in the
15:17episode that Rose's stuffed toys that she's been making are actually all callbacks and memories of
15:23past monsters that the doctor and Donna encountered with those memories being inherited by the meta-crisis.
15:29So we've got the blue one-eyed one which we later learn is meant to be a Dalek. We have the one with
15:34horns which is a Jadoon. We also have the one that Meep is holding which is I guess the devil that we see
15:40in uh... You'll all ridicule me for forgetting what that one's called but you know that one. We have the
15:46silver one with the headphones. That one's clearly a Cyberman. We have a cute little Adipose. We also have
15:51a dog looking one which I mean it could potentially be the werewolf from Tooth and Claw but to be honest it
15:57looks like Carvanista. Anyway I digress. Um and we also have an oud and talking about those musical
16:01motifs when the oud comes on screen we hear a little motif of the oud theme as well which is
16:06very beautiful. It's called the Satan Pit. I just looked further in the nose. The Satan Pit. Yes. And
16:12did anyone else spot this little guy hiding up on the shelf there? You can't tell me that's not
16:17supposed to be the face of Bo and I kind of want one. And there's also one that resembles the Empress
16:21of Ragnos as well. So yeah. Clever Rose. Number 16. When Donna discovers Meep she says
16:28we've got a bloody Martian in the shed. She constantly refers to the Doctor as a Martian
16:33in The Runaway Bride. So again it's just that typical Donna's reaction to seeing an alien is
16:38that they must be a Martian. Um and that's funny and a good callback there as well. Number 15. So
16:43then obviously the Doctor is banging on the door and eventually gets into the house and Sylvia
16:48slaps him round the face and he says oh here we go again. And it seems like a bit of a theme
16:53where the Doctor gets slapped by the mother of his companion. Jackie slapped him. Francine
17:01also slapped him. He's been slapped many many times since then by various other characters but the
17:0610th Doctor in particular seemed to get quite a lot of slaps. So um it's it's quite surprising that
17:11this face would want to come back considering how abused it got when it was here the last time.
17:15Number 14. So once we've all calmed down and we're all in the living room well maybe not all calmed
17:21down but once we're in the living room and the Doctor is bandaging up Meep's hand there is a
17:25photo on the mantelpiece a framed photo of Donna and her dad which is a nice nod to Howard Atfield
17:32who unfortunately passed away following The Runaway Bride and was unable to then be in any of the episodes
17:38in series four and so it was kind of written into the story that her dad had passed away. So it's nice
17:43to have a nod to Howard Atfield in this scene. It does appear to be a still from The Runaway Bride
17:48where her dad is walking her down the aisle. It does make me question two things. First of all
17:53where did Sylvia get a screenshot of that episode from? But it's pretty easy to establish that
17:57someone took a photo. But the thing I find more weird is this is a photo of Donna's wedding but it's
18:03not her wedding to Sean and so as nice as it is to have this lovely nod to Howard Atfield it seems
18:09slightly strange that Donna would have a framed photo of her wedding day but not the wedding day
18:15to her current husband. We can look past it. We can look past it. It's a nice nod to her dad.
18:21Number 13. So then we have the mention of Wilf and we have that heartbreaking moment that slight
18:26concern for a few seconds where we think oh no Wilf is gone and the Doctor thinks oh no Wilf is gone
18:31and then we learn that he's in sheltered accommodation and we have a name drop for Kate Stewart who obviously
18:37as the head of unit has made sure that Wilf is comfortable. So that's lovely to have that little
18:42connection and obviously the mention of Kate Stewart there as well. Number 12. Something else I noticed
18:47in this scene and in the previous scene in the kitchen. There are loads of drawings like kids
18:52drawings on the walls. Some are framed, some are just on the walls. Presumably drawings that Rose has
18:58done throughout her childhood. I do not think for a second that these pictures don't mean something.
19:04I tried so hard to zoom in on as many of them as I could but the further you zoom in the harder
19:09the more blurry they become and it's quite hard to determine what they actually are. But we did
19:13notice one on the wall by the fridge was of a pig and myself and Dani instantly go space pig and we
19:18obviously know about these memories so it would seem I would suggest that these these drawings again
19:23are the Metacrisis memories seeping through in an artistic form through Rose. We've also got one on the
19:30wall in the living room which looks like a green monster stood against some sort of London thing so
19:36could that be Slitheen in Downing Street potentially? Like I said they're very very hard to make out but
19:40I feel like they are that clever and that sneaky and that love to go that give that much attention
19:48to detail that I think these drawings are all easter eggs in their own right even if I can't figure out
19:52what they all are actually of. If anyone else can figure out what any of the drawings are references to
19:57then please let me know because I've been trying really hard but they're just too blurry to figure
20:00out. Number 11 so they're all running away get up the stairs they're in the loft and the doctor has
20:05his sonic screwdriver and he says it's really good at resonating concrete. If you recall in the doctor
20:11dances the doctor is trying to resonate concrete this is the ninth doctor and he's not having very
20:16good success with it. It would seem that the tar the the sonic screwdriver has has learned since then
20:20and can now do that very easily although it is pointed out that that's not actually concrete
20:25so potentially it still can't do concrete. Number 10 so after we've had the little escape-a-roo when
20:32we get in the taxi and uh we then suddenly become a courtroom drama and the doctor pulls out a barrister's
20:38wig from his pocket and puts it on his head um to hold the trial between the uh the wrarth. I know
20:44it's the wrarth but I can't not do the wrarth so that's what they will forever be to me. The fourth
20:50doctor did this exact same thing and you know potentially in universe with the exact same wig
20:55in the 1978 serial the stones of blood so that was a good little callback there as well. Number 9 so
21:01during this trial the doctor invokes shadow proclamation protocols 15 p and 6. Now as we know
21:08the shadow proclamation is basically outer space police that's how the doctor refers to them in series 4
21:13and we did see an exterior shot of the the shadow proclamation in that opening recap from um the
21:20stolen earth as well. So then we're going to jump and we're going to jump into the the ship where we
21:25have the doctor and Donna inside the wrarth ship. Meep is trying to escape and uh the doctor is trying
21:31to to stop the destruction of London and Meep initiates a deadlock seal and the sonic screwdriver kind
21:37of sparks and suddenly they can't solve the problem that way anymore and it's a running theme
21:41throughout Doctor Who that the sonic screwdriver struggles with a deadlock seal. If it's deadlock
21:45sealed yeah we can't get past that so um that was quite nice to see. Deadlock seal up sonic's useless
21:50now. It can make shields but as soon as there's a deadlock seal nah we're out. Number 7 so then we
21:56have the doctor um awakening the doctor Donna inside Donna's head. The final trigger word in that series
22:03of words is the word binary. Now this is clearly a callback to the moment in Journey's End where Donna
22:09is struggling to keep control with the metacrisis inside her head and she goes binary binary binary
22:14binary binary. So obviously binary is a very important word. In both instances that word means
22:19to the doctor uh trouble Donna's head's going to explode but obviously in series 4 he solves the
22:23problem and here he's doing it on purpose to wake up the Doctor Donna. Those trigger words there must be
22:29a meaning to them but we have studied them for quite some time and for the life of us we cannot figure
22:35out what that meaning is. At some point it will become glaringly obvious and we'll all know what
22:40they mean. Right now not a clue. The only one that I can see significance to at the moment is obviously
22:45sparrow which could be a reference to Sally Sparrow and the fact that that word is in there is what
22:50makes me think that the rest of them must have some significance as well. If anyone's figured it out
22:54let us know. Number 6 so once we have the doctor Donna in full force and full swing pressing
22:59buttons and reeling off technobabble we then have the iconic oh yes which we saw Donna say
23:05and the metacrisis doctor say as well in journey's end when they're all solving the problem and saving
23:10the day and destroying the daleks. Number 5 so just before the meep is escorted off world by
23:16by the wrarth wrarth but the wrarth meep mentions the boss. Now I think we all initially assumed that
23:23the boss would be the toy maker but if you watch the in-vision commentary for the starbeast
23:28David Tennant says that he doesn't actually know what that line means and producer Vicky Dello said
23:33you'll get to find out with all the viewers. In other words it feels like this is going to be a
23:37thread that continues beyond David Tennant and perhaps is significant to Shooty Gatwa's 15th
23:44doctor. So it could be Jinx Monsoon, it could be Jonathan Groff, it could be Indira Varma who has
23:49been cast as a character called the Duchess or it could be none of those. But it seems like the boss
23:55although we initially assumed would be the toy maker in a couple of episodes time might actually
23:59be a more important through line that's going to continue past these three episodes. So I guess we'll
24:05find out. Just as a side note as well, we just mentioned the toy maker there. A lot of people have
24:10pointed out the fact that Rose makes all these toys and so essentially Rose is a toy maker and whether
24:16there's some significance to the fact that we know the toy maker will be appearing in The Giggle
24:21and Rose has become a toy maker of sorts and whether there's going to be some weird connection
24:26there. Number four. So everything's solved, we're all good and we're now outside the TARDIS and Donna
24:31and the doctor decide that they're going to go and see Wilf and as they enter the TARDIS what does
24:35Donna say? Come on spaceman. Donna called the doctor spaceman quite a few times in series four.
24:40I would say most notably in the kind of banter off between the Metacrisis doctor and Donna. She says
24:46oy watch it spaceman and he says oy watch it earth girl. So yes spaceman. Number three. So they enter
24:53the TARDIS and what does David Tennant do? I don't know whether this was a stylistic choice, whether
24:57this was muscle memory. Soon as he walks in, takes off his coat, throws it over the railing which is
25:02something that the Tenth Doctor did all of the time even though there was a coat rack right there.
25:08Still threw it just over the side of a railing or one of those weird kind of what were those things
25:13even called. The kind of tree things that were inside his original TARDIS. But it was just really
25:18lovely to see. It just felt so familiar. Honestly it felt like David Tennant had never been away
25:22watching this entire episode. It just made me feel warm and fuzzy. Number two. So then everything
25:27seems like it's going fine but obviously it's not fine and we end up with the TARDIS on fire and
25:32exploding and blowing up. Now this happens quite often in Doctor Who and both Donna and the Doctor have
25:37both been inside the TARDIS at some point when it's been sparking and exploding. So most notably I would
25:42say the situation where the Metacrisis Doctor is born when Donna is inside the TARDIS when the
25:47Daleks dispose of it and it's all blowing up and sparks and everything's crashing around them.
25:51The Tenth Doctor's regeneration completely destroyed the TARDIS and I literally said as this was
25:56happening in the episode what is it with David Tennant's Doctors and blowing up his TARDISes.
25:59And number one. Obviously the reason for the TARDIS blowing up is because Donna threw coffee
26:04on the console. What is quite funny though is the contrast between what he does to the TARDIS and
26:09what coffee does because if you recall in the Christmas invasion the Doctor is unconscious
26:14and what wakes him up? Spilt cup of tea in the TARDIS. Tea the TARDIS likes. Wakes the Doctor up.
26:20Saves the day. Coffee instantly blows up. I think that maybe is just a commentary on the TARDIS's
26:26preferences over tea and coffee. Don't you? Make sure that you go and check out our ups and downs
26:30review of the episode and let us know what you thought of the episode in the comments of that video
26:35and of any easter eggs that you think we missed in the comments of this one. In the meantime I've
26:40been Ellie with Who Culture and in the words of River Song herself goodbye sweeties.
