00:00Completion of all phases of Al Shindaha Corridor Improvement Project on Burr Dubai side.
00:09RTA recently opened a new bridge with a capacity of three lanes as part of the fourth and final phase of Al Shindaha Corridor Improvement Project on Burr Dubai side.
00:23The bridge extends from Al Mina Street towards Al Wassal Road and has contributed to reducing travel time from Infinity Bridge via Al Mina Street toward Al Wassal Road.
00:37The new bridge is one of five bridges that have been opened at the intersection of Sheikh Rashid Road and Al Mina Street.
00:46These bridges provide smooth traffic flow at the intersection of Sheikh Rashid Road and Al Mina Street toward Infinity Bridge, from Jumeirah Street to Infinity Bridge and from Al Mina Street toward Al Wassal Road.
01:01Phase 4 also included the construction of two pedestrian bridges, one on Sheikh Rashid Road and the other on Al Mina Street.
01:11With the opening of this phase, RTA has completed the development of Al Shindaha Corridor in Burr Dubai area, resulting in smoother uninterrupted traffic flow from Al Gahoud Bridge to Infinity Bridge and vice versa.
01:31Al Shindaha Corridor Project contributes to increasing capacity from 6,400 to 24,000 vehicles per hour, reducing travel time from 104 minutes to just 16 minutes, enhancing traffic safety along the corridor.
