03:06and the fighting pride of Nottingham, England, Latham Lee Ward!
03:21And his opponent across the ring, in this main event, he is the defending world champion.
03:29Fighting tonight out of the blue corner, he comes to the ring wearing black and red,
03:34and weighting the same as his opponent, 129.8 pounds.
03:39Coming to us, from Belfast, Northern Ireland, he brings a professional record of 23 wins,
03:49just one defeat, with 8 wins coming by way of knockout.
03:54Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the former IBF World Champion,
04:00and tonight, the reigning and defending IBF World Champion of the World,
04:10Anthony, the Andy Town, Apache, Kokichi!
04:15Well, there may not be the 67,000 that were at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium a fortnight ago,
04:37but there are thousands in here, making a real racket, hundreds of Irish fans to our left,
04:45and so many here, to see Lee Wood.
04:49This world-class fight, between two such entertaining and long-serving boxers,
04:57who we admire so much.
04:59The fusion of these two could produce a fight, and a night to remember the natural super featherweight,
05:08Anthony Kokichi, in those red boots, and Lee Wood, up in weight, back after a long layoff,
05:16and, well, he's so desperate for the win here, but Kokichi in terrific form, Darren.
05:26Yeah, he is. Really, really confident at the minute, but Lee Wood, you can never rule him out.
05:33Jab, very, very key for both early on.
05:36That stabbing jab to the body from Lee Wood, important to get the hands low of Kokichi,
05:41and Kokichi to set up that powerful right hand of his.
05:48I was thinking, as they got into the ring, had it been Anthony Kokichi was, in comparison to Lee Wood.
05:55Yeah, it's been Lee Wood, has taken the centre of the ring, but I would say,
05:58he's thrown a couple of jabs, and Kokichi's thrown that right hand over the top,
06:01and landed twice, so maybe,
06:03Wood's got to make sure that jab's coming back, comes back as fast as it goes out.
06:08Very, very positive start here, from Lee Wood,
06:11taking a little step back there, just missing the left hook.
06:15He's got to make sure he gets that right though, Lee Wood, I think Kokichi's just had a time room coming in here.
06:25He's got those long arms, Kokichi.
06:30Both switch hits.
06:33Kokichi off to the southpaw, but they start orthodox.
06:37Lee Wood was, once upon a time, trained on that winker back hill, under Brendan and Dominic Engel.
06:50I mean, the experience in 55 fights between them, and what they've seen through the years, amazing.
06:58Yeah, and what could still be to Cardinal's world for the winner.
07:02It's a very, very important win here, a loss.
07:06You would say that's all she wrote.
07:08And also, let's be honest, Lee Wood, you never thought he'd get to this level.
07:12He surpassed everyone's expectations, and he's been brilliant once he got this level.
07:15He proved he deserved to be here, he should have been here all the long.
07:19And for Kokichi, it never looked like his ability was going to get the rewards he deserved for a long time.
07:24And now, but now, they're both here, they both really belong, and it's a really, really interesting fight.
07:29And a cage of staff as well.
07:31Yeah, that was in the right hand there, wasn't much in the shot, but he's landed over the javelin work from Kokichi.
07:42Plenty of respect, early on this one.
07:45Yeah, do you know what, that left-up is there for Kokichi.
07:48When Wood comes forward and falls short, that Kampner left-up, a very dangerous shot.
07:54What a team around this man, Anthony Anto, the Apache Kabatje, and he really is a super fighter in fight number 25.
08:06For the IBF champion at 9 stone 4, what a win that was in Riyadh against Joe Cordina, undefeated at the time.
08:14But what victories Lee Wood has had particularly, that unbelievable moment, or moments late on, against Michael Conlon.
08:25Yeah, incredible, that was spectacular, the fight, and the atmosphere.
08:30But I'll tell you what, he hasn't approached this fight, he hasn't started this fight, Lee Wood, as if he's been out the ring for as long as he has.
08:38Lovely double jab there from Lee Wood, nice solid left hands.
08:47And it can compose here, Lee Wood, 19 months of inactivity, trying to get that jab going.
08:55Do you think Kokichi stepping in a little bit too far with that front foot when he throws the jab,
08:58and that's just shortening the distance, allowing Wood to match in with that left hand.
09:02You've got to step with the jab, you've got to use that reach as well, step in and out really quick.
09:10Barrioral division, and Lee Wood has moved up, he said he just could have made featherweight,
09:15and he feels so much stronger now, at this one.
09:18Yeah, you can argue, right, the probability that he's in his chin might have been making weight,
09:22all those things have a factor, of course.
09:24But, added with that, you're fighting guys who are coming down from a big weight again,
09:28so there's always that worry that you're not going to need to have the strength and power
09:32that you did have with the lower weights.
09:34Or, you replenish properly with nutrition values, and you are more powerful than that weight.
09:41And what about Kokichi?
09:43Could he be moving to lightweight?
09:45How will he be, under the pressure,
09:49who was a good shot from Kokichi, best of the fight so far?
09:54Yeah, that was a lovely overhand right.
10:00Picked it well, didn't he?
10:01Yeah, he did.
10:02Very sharp and accurate with it, didn't load up with the shot either.
10:05And again, beautiful right hand straight this time.
10:08Taking it well, though, Wood, because he's been able to see it,
10:10so he just tense that neck up when he takes the shot.
10:13And talking about stepping up in weight,
10:15I think that will help his punch resistance.
10:20He's not seeing the catch, he's just whipped that left hook,
10:22he had a real long, whipping left hook,
10:24when he throws that right hand, and he just turned the body into the shot.
10:28Part of the thrills of Lee Wood's career is that he has been stopped
10:32a couple of times, he's been down, hurt, come back,
10:36for dramatic victories, that's why the fans here love him in Nottingham.
10:40He's just really replaced Karl Frosch as the headliner in this fighting mad city.
10:49How long can he go on for?
10:5136 now, Wood.
10:52The McCormack twins are right behind, it's a big stable, AJ part of it, of course,
11:03and Lee Wood has been great under Ben Davidson over the last few years,
11:08they're a really tight team,
11:10and can he produce one of those standout wins?
11:14He still believes that huge victory is to come,
11:19and that he couldn't really celebrate the Michael Conor won,
11:22because he was worried about him afterwards,
11:25maybe is tonight.
11:27Well, look, you can totally understand why he believes that,
11:30with the experience that he has, the power that he carries,
11:33the resilience.
11:34Well, it takes out a nice sort of short effort there, though, from Kukachi.
11:40Nice work behind that double jab, though, from Wood.
11:43Turns out for, for the first time, Kukachi.
11:46Yeah, and P, the pro set, he's just got a little didn't he,
11:49with that jab there, Wood.
11:50Just clenched him up with it, there's really good angle for the attack.
11:58Listen to this crowd.
12:00More faints there from Kukachi, I think, is needed.
12:07We'll just go be careful not getting too far over that front foot.
12:10Before the count of Kukachi,
12:13Wood tries to come back,
12:14he shoulders a little bit tight, Lee Wood.
12:17He hurt him, I don't think he's actually realised.
12:21They're saying that, though, he's most dangerous, isn't he, Lee Wood,
12:23when he's hurt.
12:27Trying to get that right hand around the guard,
12:29Kukachi who broke through Joe Cordino in spectacular fashion,
12:35but he knows about Wood's power.
12:38There's the uppercut for the first time,
12:40these big long arms of Kukachi beginning to work.
12:44And he describes that little white uppercut really well,
12:47did Kukachi work through the guard, Lee Wood.
12:50He's going to straighten out right hand over there,
12:52Kukachi will let it go,
12:54and Wood's got to keep those hands a little bit tighter
12:55when he's coming forward.
12:56I think the last southpaw that Lee Wood faced
13:02was Jackson Dickens,
13:03and he walks into a left turn,
13:04so Kukachi mixing it up,
13:06because Dickens beat Lee Wood.
13:08just out of range Wood in this third round,
13:18Kukachi looking more accurate and fluent.
13:21And the little faint there as well from Kukachi.
13:25That jab is so important for Lee Wood,
13:27that stabbing jab to the body.
13:29former World Featherweight Champion,
13:36former IBS Super Featherweight Champion.
13:39They're elite really,
13:40even at 36,
13:42and you can't take your eyes off this.
13:45The boxing braids ticking over,
13:47as they train an end up,
13:50in front of this packed round in Nottingham.
13:52Kukachi has got friends and followers all over the place.
14:12He once upon a time delivered pizzas and Chinese food.
14:16He was struggling as a young fighter,
14:20and he's beaten the system,
14:21and he's come through to this sort of level.
14:25He's great to watch,
14:26so to his Lee Wood.
14:28And the respect you saw, Darren,
14:30at the end of that third round between the parry,
14:32was great, wasn't it?
14:33I'll show you what gentlemen they are,
14:35but it was a bag of tricks in that third round.
14:38Kukachi, hard to read.
14:40It's like switching a lot more,
14:42as he is now at the South 4.
14:48Just give the camera when you're switching,
14:49you don't overdo it,
14:50you don't overcomplicate yourself.
14:52I was just thinking that when Isshin Pickering did that,
14:55and was knocked out as he switched in a world title fight.
14:58It was Martinez, wasn't it?
15:00Sheffield.
15:01It was indeed.
15:03Lee Wood.
15:05The Nottingham man.
15:07Following the footsteps of Harold Marmoglade,
15:09Carl Frotch,
15:11Jason and Nicky Boo,
15:12Jowie Kalik and others.
15:14Will he get that dream fight at the city ground?
15:24Or will Anthony Kukachi silenced the home crowd?
15:28He's boxing well in patches.
15:31Kukachi.
15:33Yeah, Wood's walking down here,
15:34but Kukachi's down to get a better shot.
15:36Even though they want the full-blown left hook,
15:38it was a nice, pretty little sneaky shot there from Kukachi.
15:40And the difference when you're watching two top-level fighters,
15:45the non-punching activity,
15:47look at all the feints that they're doing,
15:48they're trying to find the openings,
15:50because they're hard to come by when you're fighting at this level.
15:54Something's going to have to sit traps.
15:56Combination from Wood,
15:57partially blocked by Kukachi,
15:59but the fans got behind that one,
16:01and they'll be driving Wood through the rough patches.
16:04This is better from Lee Wood.
16:07He's just not committed to the right hand here.
16:09I don't understand why I think he's been caught throwing it a few times,
16:11but he's double-jabbing there,
16:12and that's where that right hand's going to rotate with that right hand.
16:15Yeah, I think he really needs to take that head off the line to his left
16:18when he throws the right hand.
16:20Try and keep yourself out of danger as you throw the shot.
16:23I understand he doesn't want to throw it from here,
16:24but with the double-jab,
16:25it gets him close to this,
16:26so he can really commit to the shot.
16:30He's got a lovely jab, Lee Wood,
16:32but the reach with Kukachi.
16:35Who's got the speed here?
16:36I mean, they both carry fast hands.
16:41I would say Kukachi, I think,
16:44ever so slightly.
16:45Are they going to whip in this shot?
16:46More of the speed, maybe?
16:49Yeah, the whip of Kukachi.
16:52Right hand from Wood,
16:54standing in front of him.
16:55Really wants to fight.
16:57There's the apricot.
16:59Nice work from Lee Wood.
17:01Late on in this round,
17:03and Kukachi smiles warming up nicely.
17:07It's huge.
17:07This is a different rematch this time round.
17:11He told me it will be a golden 2025.
17:14Frank Warren at the beginning,
17:17and he's delivering Usyk Dubois,
17:19which I guess along with Canelo and Crawford
17:22is the fight of the year.
17:25But within the trade,
17:27many people excited about the one
17:30that's right on, right here.
17:32Fifth round,
17:34Anthony Kukachi, Lee Wood,
17:36and he's been absorbing.
17:39Yeah, and that's exactly what it is.
17:40It's the perfect word, it's absorbing.
17:41It hasn't been a firefight yet.
17:44Because either one knows
17:45they can't make a massive mistake
17:46and they will have to pay maybe
17:48the ultimate price.
17:49How are you seeing it after four?
17:51Got Kukachi just in front here.
17:53It's close, though.
17:55The runs are close.
17:56It's got Kukachi
17:56slightly fenced more ahead
17:58from Darren, I think, at the minute.
18:02It's been Karl in.
18:04I have Kukachi 3-1 up.
18:07The last round was the first round
18:08I'd give to Lee Wood.
18:09And I think there was a couple of close rounds,
18:12but Antle was landing
18:13the more telling shots.
18:15I think in each round,
18:16apart from the last one, two, and three,
18:19Antle probably stole the round
18:20because he'd hurt Lee once or twice.
18:22Kloutman from here.
18:24I think you're bang on.
18:25I think Lee Wood's last round
18:26was his best.
18:28You could argue possibly
18:29about one of the others,
18:30but Kukachi in front
18:32on Karl's unofficial guard.
18:34Three judges at ringside.
18:36IBO belt on the line.
18:39But these are world-class operators,
18:42former world champions,
18:45and the intelligence and ring IQ.
18:47And look at Kukachi's speed
18:49and the way he goes through the gears.
18:52Yeah, fantastic jab.
18:54Sharp.
18:55And followed it up in the right hand.
18:56He'd done well just to take the feet
18:58out of range, Lee Wood.
18:58As he does there,
18:59just taking this thing out of the shot.
19:02And there's a lovely thing
19:03that it's just beautiful to watch.
19:04And also lands with a good jab.
19:05And there's a little pause
19:06and then they feel a three-punch combination.
19:08It's just something really beautiful
19:09to see about it.
19:10It's like you bang Koi with a shot
19:12and then he accelerates again.
19:15Both of them have shared a ring
19:17with the Leeds warrior,
19:19Josh Warrington,
19:21who's on the comeback trail.
19:22He wants one more big fight, really.
19:25Warrington,
19:27his stablemates,
19:28Maxi Hughes and Reece Mould,
19:30involved in the big Doncaster stadium show.
19:33That's May the 23rd.
19:35On DAZN right before,
19:37we go to Scotland.
19:39It's a fantastic month.
19:40And these two
19:42are giving us
19:43an entertaining battle.
19:46It's a boxing match
19:49at times,
19:50but it's gonna heat up.
19:52There's gonna be some
19:53mini explosions in there,
19:55I feel.
19:55You know something's gonna happen,
19:57but there's a nice step
19:59that he does leave with that.
20:00A ranger firmly's got a punch on for that.
20:01He takes a step back
20:02as he does there.
20:03Let your shot go.
20:04Let the right hand go.
20:08Again, trying to frame
20:09the uppercut room.
20:10The end's in the corner
20:12of Team Kakache.
20:14We're enjoying it
20:14on the commentator's table.
20:17Ed Hardy recently
20:18gave us some farm produce.
20:20The young prospect
20:21from Doncaster.
20:23Today,
20:23Darren Barkle's given a cigar
20:25from Team Anto Kakache.
20:27I'm gonna explain that.
20:29They've got a gift here.
20:31I'm all for it, though.
20:32Will they be celebrating
20:35tonight,
20:35the Irish?
20:37Plenty of them.
20:37Packed just to our left,
20:39around ringside.
20:40The Nottingham fans
20:42just quiet
20:43for a moment
20:44as they
20:45wait and watch
20:46Lee Wood
20:47not quite got into his groove.
20:51Kakache
20:51books it
20:52very smartly here.
20:53He's come out, though.
20:55He's written to Lee Wood
20:56in this sick round.
20:58He's worth it there
20:59from Kakache.
21:01I mean, he's taking them,
21:02taking the play off
21:03with there.
21:03He's not pushing back
21:04with the shots.
21:07Wood,
21:07the double jab.
21:09He's right,
21:09the crash is in Goldenbox.
21:10The double jab,
21:11but Wood's gonna close the gap.
21:12There's not much in this,
21:16but he just looks
21:17slightly sharper.
21:19Kakache
21:20punches landed
21:21just seven in it.
21:23But maybe it's the
21:24freshness,
21:26the momentum,
21:28the fact that he's
21:29on that winning streak.
21:31And Wood's won
21:32his last couple
21:33back.
21:33They've been a long time ago.
21:35I tell you what,
21:35Ben Davies
21:35mentioned something
21:36about in the corner
21:37that he's Kakache
21:37on the way out.
21:38And that's a worry,
21:39yeah,
21:40but you remember that.
21:41He knocks the
21:42head back
21:44and even though
21:44it's not a big shot,
21:45it gives the impression
21:46that it is.
21:47And it's always
21:48with the left hand
21:49of Kakache.
21:50I just feel,
21:51after he takes
21:51that step back,
21:52just slip inside
21:54and throw your right hand.
21:56You've done
21:57the hard part,
21:59you've missed
21:59the heavy shot.
22:00Just don't get in the cockpit,
22:01just take that head
22:02off the line,
22:02throw the right hand.
22:04Good feet there
22:04for Kakache.
22:05Still half a step back
22:06and then skip it
22:07up the distance.
22:09Very good feet
22:10from Kakache.
22:11He's almost getting
22:13better with an inch.
22:16He should persist
22:16for that right hand.
22:17He only missed
22:18by an inch there.
22:20Oh,
22:20lovely work for Kakache.
22:22Brilliant hand speed
22:24and big looping punches.
22:26and Wood just
22:27in a slight
22:28problem here.
22:2945-0.
22:30In the sixth round,
22:31the upper club goes in.
22:33And Kakache now,
22:34the natural
22:35super featherweight.
22:36Now,
22:37right Wood,
22:38there's the puncher
22:39on paper.
22:40Not sure
22:40if that's happening
22:41in reality.
22:42I'll tell you what,
22:43that left hand
22:44that hit the right
22:44glove
22:45of Lee Wood
22:46was,
22:48the noise
22:49that come up
22:49with it.
22:50Kakache is a
22:51faint here now,
22:52I think Wood's still
22:52heard.
22:53He'll have faint
22:53there through that
22:54right hand.
22:55That's a lovely,
22:56that's a lovely
22:58thudding jab
22:59from Kakache.
23:00Those long levers
23:01are really good.
23:03Punches on the punches
23:04and he's hurting Wood here.
23:06So,
23:06he does exactly
23:07what I've been asking
23:08for for Wood.
23:09He takes a step back
23:10and he throws the counter
23:11and he walks onto it.
23:12He takes the step
23:13and he needs a print
23:14for it there
23:14and gives it the chance.
23:15Zillian's in his toughness.
23:17High-class skills
23:18here
23:18on display
23:20in this
23:20IBO
23:21super featherweight
23:22battle
23:23remember the white
23:24and green
23:25of the home city
23:26hero
23:27Lee Wood
23:27is gonna be
23:28a chump behind
23:30on points
23:31you feel
23:31because Anthony
23:33Kakache is
23:34boxing really well.
23:36Great feet,
23:37speed,
23:38the jabs,
23:39pinpoint
23:40and some of the shots
23:42just troubling
23:42Lee Wood
23:43as well.
23:44He needs
23:44some success
23:46here quickly.
23:47He hasn't been here
23:48before has he
23:48Lee Wood?
23:49This is the sort of
23:50fight he revels
23:51in this doesn't he?
23:52He loves it Barry
23:53but can he keep
23:54Dele himself out?
23:55You tend to think
23:56he's always against you
23:57but you know
23:57we've had fights before
23:58Kiko Martinez
24:00in this ring division
24:00those things to mind.
24:02Kyle boxed him twice
24:03and then
24:04seven years later
24:05and he was still
24:06locking people up
24:06when he thought he would
24:07pass himself by game.
24:08It's an extraordinary sport
24:09it really is.
24:10Let's bring Kyle in
24:11how are you assessing things?
24:13I have Anthony well in front
24:14of giving Lee Wood
24:15only one round
24:16I think he's boxing
24:17beautifully at times
24:18that last round
24:18his feet were so good
24:19and he was making
24:21Lee Wood fall short
24:22and just
24:22just throwing a jab
24:23really simple boxing
24:25he's making it look simple
24:27but I think he's
24:28performing out of his skin
24:29here
24:29but Lee has to get
24:30a bit closer
24:30what he's doing
24:32Lee
24:32I think he's throwing
24:34a slow double jab
24:35it's not quick enough
24:36and Anthony's just been
24:37able to step out of range
24:38and line his own job
24:39Brilliant Kyle
24:42I think you're right
24:42I think the speed
24:43that might have carried up
24:45from featherweight
24:46is not really there
24:47I'm not sure
24:47if he's struggling
24:48with the inactivity
24:49but I think more
24:51it's how well
24:52Anthony can catch
24:53his feet and moving
24:54and his boxing brain
24:55as he switches
24:56stances
24:57and finds shots
24:58from different angles
24:59and that jab
25:01orthodox
25:02and southboard
25:03Aaron
25:03perfect
25:04The variation was brilliant
25:05whether it be on the front foot
25:06or the back foot
25:07he's just that much better
25:09at the minute
25:10you know
25:10he mounts attacks better
25:12that's good work though
25:13for the right to the body
25:15though
25:15from Lee Wood
25:15but he takes a step
25:17out of range
25:17Kekachi
25:18he'll fire back
25:19actually look
25:20the work to the body
25:21might have more effective
25:22when he works
25:23downstairs
25:24Lee Wood
25:24that's lovely
25:26there for Kekachi
25:27though
25:27triple jab
25:28yeah
25:32you've got
25:32the double jab
25:34is the right move
25:35but it's too slow
25:35you've got to snap
25:36at the front foot
25:37when you do that
25:37double jab
25:38you've got to be equipped
25:39snap snap movement
25:40with this
25:41yeah watch the back
25:46in the head
25:47says John Latham
25:48hasn't had to do much
25:49the referee
25:49these guys
25:51are so experienced
25:5223 wins
25:53for Kekachi
25:5428 for Lee Wood
25:57over long careers
25:59it's a bit better
26:02with the jab
26:03from Wood
26:03but he's got to build on it
26:05working well to the body
26:06with that right hand
26:07as well
26:08like to see him
26:09fire the right hand
26:10over the top
26:11once he's thrown it
26:11to the body
26:12just moves
26:14with such ease
26:16Kekachi
26:17of Pattaya
26:18back live
26:20on the zone
26:21Lee Wood
26:22with a huge amount
26:24of work to do here
26:25but we've seen this before
26:27we've been here before
26:28Michael Conner
26:30was out boxing him
26:31and in the 12th round
26:32he was knocked out
26:33through the ring
26:34so you never know
26:35with Lee Wood
26:36but so far
26:37so good
26:38for Team Kekachi
26:39he's boxed beautifully
26:41but how many times
26:43can he pull that
26:44dramatic finish
26:45out of the bag
26:45that's the question
26:47when you're in there
26:49with somebody
26:49who's boxing so
26:50well like Kekachi
26:51so smooth at the minute
26:53very
26:53in attack
26:55changing stars
26:57a bag of tricks
26:58at times
26:58he's countering
26:59once he takes a step back
27:00that's a good one
27:01that was a cut
27:02to the cheekbone
27:03as well
27:04of Kekachi
27:05a spot of blood
27:07for Kekachi
27:07and to the nose
27:09as well
27:10and Lee Wood
27:11will be inspired
27:12by that
27:13and right hand
27:14was decent
27:15but have we got
27:16more of it
27:17will Kekachi
27:17begin to slow down
27:19and feel
27:20the super featherweight
27:21limit
27:22could Wood
27:23come on here
27:24Barry
27:24Lee Wood
27:27I don't do
27:28the thing is
27:31if he takes a cut
27:33of the gazo
27:33Kekachi
27:34allows Wood
27:35any momentum
27:35he's going to
27:36struggle
27:37good body shot
27:38from Kekachi
27:39only 8 knockouts
27:40on his record
27:41you wouldn't have
27:42thought that
27:42against Joe Cordino
27:44it's deceiving
27:44I don't know
27:45how that's been
27:46that case
27:47did that
27:55get that defeat
27:56to Martin J. Ward
27:57all those years ago
27:58Kekachi
27:59but he's just
28:01stuck with it
28:02and he's
28:03been around
28:04well level now
28:05for a little while
28:06and there could be
28:08some more big nights
28:09to come
28:10for the Belfast
28:11man
28:11but he's got to
28:12see this out
28:13lovely word there
28:14for Kekachi
28:15jabbing going back
28:16there Kekachi
28:16coming forward
28:17look at the feet
28:22they're just
28:23all the time
28:23isn't there Darren
28:24always
28:24brightening
28:25in and out
28:26positive on the
28:28front foot
28:28very very quick
28:30on the back
28:30those feet working
28:34beautifully
28:34look at the left one
28:36with the ring
28:38tied to his shoelace
28:40just like David
28:41Hale used to do
28:42family man
28:44they both are
28:45Lee Wood
28:46telling his kids
28:47he doesn't want to go
28:49on too long
28:49and Kekachi just
28:52catching him out
28:53that was smart
28:56looks like the
28:57inactivity
28:58has not suited
28:59Lee Wood
28:59I mean look
29:01he's done the right
29:02thing
29:02when you've been out
29:02the ring
29:02for that long
29:03sometimes
29:04dangerous
29:05taking a step
29:05back
29:06and trying to
29:06find your time
29:07and your distance
29:07he's trying to
29:08grab the fight
29:08by the scruff
29:09of the neck
29:10but it is that
29:11speed of
29:11front and hand
29:12Kekachi's made
29:13it so difficult
29:14for Lee Wood
29:15it's all from Kekachi's
29:17doing
29:18they're moving
29:18they're feeling
29:19really good
29:20he's touched
29:20long for most
29:21parts of the fight
29:22which has made it
29:23difficult for Lee Wood
29:24to close the gap
29:24frustration
29:27sailing in
29:28for Lee Wood
29:29cannot desire
29:31as he swings
29:32from the hip
29:33and goes for the
29:34body
29:35he's not going
29:36that quietly
29:37Lee Wood
29:38wonderful atmosphere
29:40boxing
29:41is
29:42absolutely
29:43buzzing
29:44at the moment
29:44in Britain
29:46you're watching
29:47Anthony Kekachi
29:48and Lee Wood
29:49in the super
29:50featherweight division
29:52former world champion
29:53in this weight
29:53Barry Jones
29:54I was thinking
29:55earlier on the way
29:56up about
29:57that hungering
29:58between
29:59Michael Hill
30:00and Paul
30:01it's hard
30:01that Anthony Kekachi
30:03has brought Lee Wood
30:04here in the ninth round
30:06and hurt him
30:07and Wood
30:07shakes his head
30:09in the goals
30:10back
30:11back
30:11the ropes
30:12kept him up
30:13you're going to count
30:15for that
30:15yep
30:16ropes
30:17catch him up
30:18there's the count
30:19and there's a long time
30:21left of the round
30:22and Kekachi
30:23suddenly
30:24pushes his foot down
30:26and Wood
30:27is really troubled
30:29the left hook
30:30he's still badly hurt
30:34Lee Wood
30:35let's remember
30:36how accurate he was
30:37against Joe
30:37Cordino
30:38but he had him hurt
30:39he doesn't miss
30:40with a shot
30:40Kekachi
30:43has boxed so well
30:45and now
30:46he wants the knockout
30:47Wood
30:48standing strong
30:49but Kekachi
30:51with the knockdown
30:53and again
30:54he's
30:55just finding the chin
30:57of Wood
30:57too easily
30:58looks at his corner
30:59how much is left
31:02for the brave
31:03Nottingham man
31:04the instinct that
31:05Lee Wood
31:06can keep fighting
31:06is unbelievable
31:07oh my shot
31:09from Lee Wood
31:10he doesn't know
31:13how to lose
31:14he will
31:15incredible
31:17to see
31:19and now Wood
31:19tries to come back
31:21from the South Force
31:22dance
31:22and maybe
31:26Wood wants this
31:27as a dogfight
31:28but Kekachi
31:29seems strong
31:31and
31:32well what a round
31:34incredible
31:36you almost expect
31:38this every time
31:39Lee Wood fights
31:40but he looks so dangerous
31:42Kekachi
31:42he's gone
31:44referee
31:45referee
31:47could have stepped in
31:48there
31:49body shot
31:50Kekachi's on the
31:51bench
31:51here
31:52great decision
31:54for Ben Davison
31:56Anthony Kekachi
31:57stops Lee
