New pope begins address in native English, vows to bring light to world's 'dark nights'

01:08be blessed with that mission

01:10and I know I can rely on

01:12each and every one of you to walk with

01:14me as we continue

01:16as a church

01:18as a community of friends

01:20of Jesus as believers

01:21to announce the good news

01:24to announce the gospel

01:25in particular

01:29attraverso il vostro voto a succedere al primo degli Apostoli,

01:34questo tessoro lo affida a me perché col suo aiuto ne sia fedele amministratore,

01:57Dico questo prima di tutto per me, come successore di Pietro,
