00:00Make any changes at this stage, but I'm sure the Manchester United manager is looking for a change, Robbie,
00:05in the way that Manchester United are going about it.
00:07And all of a sudden, we've got this scenario where the next goal in this semi-final is vital.
00:12Huge, you know, if Athletic Club get it, 2-0, massive pressure will come around this stadium on the players.
00:20You know, but, you know, if you were to make a change, probably Fernandes back, Lugate off,
00:25bring on a Mount or a Manu, and Diallo, you know, over to the right.
00:31That's a painful one, that's Patrick Dorga, that's her at the pair of them,
00:34Sanadi is the Athletic Club, bow player down.
00:49It's going back to what I was saying, Diallo on as the right wing-back, you know,
00:53and put Mas Raui to the centre-half and take probably Lindelof off, that's what I'd do.
01:03So the only chance here to get the ball into the Manchester United box for Athletic Bilbao,
01:08Alex Berenguer is over the free kick for them.
01:11Romano is going to leave that and that Uri can do nothing with it
01:22in the Manchester United penalty area.
01:25I just wonder if Uri could have headed that back across into Voliath.
01:29The expression's not changed a great deal tonight for the Athletic Bilbao coach,
01:40but his team in the first half did everything he would have wanted them to do,
01:45and they're certainly asking questions here of Manchester United,
01:48despite the fact they've still got the two-goal lead on aggregate.
01:52The two English teams in the semi-final in the second half
01:57with the same aggregate scoreline.
01:59Spurs 3-1 up on aggregate in the second leg away from home against Bodeau-Klint,
02:04and the same story here at Old Trafford for Manchester United,
02:07but they've started with the ball again.
02:10Athletic club, and here's Diallo down this side up against Patrick Dorgue.
02:14Now the Yoro to Bruno Fernandes, and he gets the free kick.
02:24It was Di Gallaretta who conceded it.
02:27I'm not sure Di Gallaretta had to do that,
02:31but the ball had run away from Bruno Fernandes.
02:34I think, like Scholesy and Owen said at half-time,
02:36you just need to get a little bit more control in that area.
02:40They were playing in between them.
02:41You know, too much athletic club in that first half,
02:45as you can see, the substitutes warm up for Manchester United.
02:49Four of them down there.
02:51There's Ahmad, who scored at the weekend.
02:53Luke Shaw, Mason Mount, and Kobi Maynard.
03:06I think in this second, if they keep backing off Manchester United,
03:10when Athletic Bilbao have got the ball, they're asking for trouble.
03:14They really are inviting pressure,
03:17and allowing the Spaniards to keep their confidence high.
03:24Casimiro has been nowhere near as commanding tonight,
03:26as he was away from home.
03:27And by Fernandes, here's Ugarte.
03:36It's going to be a handball and a free kick to Athletic Bilbao.
03:40So, that'd be nice and strong against Victor Lindelof.
03:57He's a real handful, isn't he?
03:58The number 21.
04:01He's homeschooled in many ways, Rob.
04:03He uses his body really well, doesn't he?
04:04Yeah, he'd done well for the goal, didn't he?
04:06You know, in that tussle with Maguire.
04:08It's led to Maguire giving the ball away.
04:12But really interested to see the manager's changes,
04:15if it stays at 1-0 for the next five or ten minutes.
04:17Will he be positive and aggressive in his changes?
04:21And as I said, that move Fernandes back,
04:23wouldn't bring on Mount Ormenu.
04:26And Diallo to that right-hand side
04:30and move Masraoui back into the back three.
04:32To Gallaretta, misses out Yari Gazaar.
04:34This is Gerasibel, the goal scorer gives it back to the full-back
04:37and now it's with Diallo.
04:39And they're popping the ball around again.
04:40Ugarte and then Lenny Oro and then Patrick Dorgou.
04:45That was a foul on Lenny Oro.
04:46No intent to play the ball.
04:49Bruno Fernandes has lost it.
04:50Now Gerasibel gets it back again and slides it through
04:52and there's Harry Maguire, and they've started the second half well.
04:58Very well.
04:59You know, in front of their amazing travelling support.
05:08I'm not actually sure you're allowed to live in the city of Bilbao
05:11unless you own a red and white striped shirt.
05:13Everybody had one last week
05:14and they've all got one on in there tonight.
05:16Cleared away for Manchester United by Dorgou.
05:31There's Casemiro, Ugarte, Hoyland.
05:36The brakes now for Berenguer who hits the shot straight at Lenny Oro.
05:40Giallo.
05:45Gets the free kick.
05:47But the assistant wasn't that interested in that.
05:49The referee gave it from a lot further away.
05:52I think it was unintentional.
05:53I think it was an arm.
05:56We'll see here.
06:02Yeah, the arm of Bruno Fernandes catches him in the face.
06:06Unintentional for me.
06:07Good start from Athletic Klug though.
06:13They've got Sanadi in there.
06:14They've got the two centre-backs as well.
06:16Nunes, Alvarez.
06:20It's always Alex Berenguer over the free kicks.
06:24He's going to be the instigator again.
06:26Unana's just making sure he's got everybody where he wants them in there.
06:29Hoyland's got the job of picking up Sanadi.
06:31It's going to work its way to Jauri Ghisar, but there's been a coming together in the middle.
06:43And the free kick went against Alvarez.
06:46All right.
06:47So let's do it.
07:01Yeah.
07:03All right.
07:04That's Miss Hoyland, Alasabar just stabbed it away.
07:22Lamar Ugarte there for Manchester United,
07:27but he found himself surrounded right in front of his manager, Ruben Amorim.
07:34Dorgue, now Maguire.
07:55Masraoui made the run, but then Maguire telegraphed the pass,
07:58gave it straight to Yari Guzara and now there's midfield space again for Athletic Club,
08:03it's Berenguer and that just needed to be a better pass,
08:06because they've got Yalo in between two Manchester United defenders.
08:09Just as Scorsi was highlighting the half-time, the space,
08:13the Yari Guzara in the middle of the park, breaking the lines,
08:18space to run into, just a way to pass.
08:22You know, I want to see the manager be proactive now with his subs,
08:24instead of reactive, listen, if Manchester United get the next goal,
08:27the tie's over, but right now, you've got to look at Athletic Club,
08:31the positive are on the front foot.
08:33There's never really been a spell in the game,
08:36you felt Manchester United were on top.
08:39And now the crowd again behind Manchester United,
08:41listen to the atmosphere building.
08:51Well, there's the young lad who had tears the last time we saw him,
08:53he was smiling by the end of the match, and he's here again tonight,
08:57and let her believe that was the first time he watched Manchester United play live,
09:00and here he is again supporting his team on a big night in a European semi-final,
09:05and his fingers will be tightly crossed that his club can find a way to get into the final.
09:10They're in a strong position right now, but there's work to do.
09:12I think the crowd can sense the team near the left.
09:19Space again for Berenguer, every time he picks up the ball he's got space,
09:23that's straight to Maguire though, but picked up now by Yalo.
09:26In it goes towards Unai Gomez, and that's good defending by Mas Rau,
09:30who went within stride for stride.
09:36Good defending, Mas Rau covering there.
09:40The one thing they do miss tonight, in the absence of certainly Nico Williams,
09:44is that lightning pace at the top of the pitch.
09:47They're not quite as sharp up there as they might be.
09:51Certainly gives Manchester United the advantage in those situations
09:55like we just saw Mas Rau deal with there.
10:00And that's going to sneak in behind Lennie Yoro,
10:13Berenguer with the cross, Yoro blocked it.
10:15The danger far from clear though.
10:17There's a lot of confidence in this athletic Bilbao team and they're right in front of their supporters.
10:23This is the end where the Bilbao contingent are, there they are in the background in the red and white stripes.
10:38Looking down to see what Berenguer can do with the corner.
10:54It's flicked on, it's going to come, blocked by Lennie Yoro in there, that was half a chance.
11:09Lennie Yoro has scored the goal in the first half and a shot.
11:17If it goes towards Sanadi, almost broke there for Alvarez.
11:21It's real messy for Manchester United, isn't it? There's no control at all.
11:28There's a nervousness around the ground, you can feel it in the stadium.
11:31If Athletic Club get the next goal, there will be huge pressure.
11:35Berenguer, now shallow.
11:40Away by Victor Lindelof and Sanadi wasn't too far away from that.
11:43Lennie Yoro beating shallow and then Ugarte, but he's given the ball straight back to the Spaniards.
11:52It's Di Gallaretta with the shot, that's took a deflection, it's going to spin behind for another corner.
11:57And it's constant Athletic Club pressure right now.
12:08Got to look to the bench now, here's Amrim.
12:11He's just called Mason Mount back from warming up, and Luke Shaw as well.
12:18In the meantime, here's Berenguer.
12:22That's going to be a Manchester United goal kick, so changes coming,
12:25and that's been called back as well.
12:26It wouldn't surprise you if he makes three changes here, would it?
12:29Yeah, I was saying it, it'll be proactive for me.
12:34Garte off, Fernandes get control next to Casemiro, the two sixes.
12:38Lindelof are a centre-half on, Masraoui back.
12:43Diallo over to the right-hand side to be more aggressive going forward.
12:47Possibly short for Dogu, so this is where the manager will earn his money, big situations.
12:55It's also sending on players who have got experience with big matches, big nights,
13:01whether it be for club or for country, Mason Mount and Luke Shaw, of course,
13:04with England, Mason Mount in a Champions League final with Chelsea.
13:08But before his injury, Amrim, it looked like Manchester United's best player for a period of time,
13:13so interesting changes coming, and you wonder whether they're going to be difference makers
13:17on the night for a team under pressure in this second half.
13:28And there's a yellow for Casemiro.
13:30He scored his first ever Europa League goal in the first leg, Casemiro is not a stranger
13:51to yellow cards.
13:54He's that kind of player, combative, great career with Real Madrid in the referee's book tonight.
14:00So, changes coming for Manchester United, three of them,
14:04and I'm pretty sure Balberd is going to counter that with substitutions of his own.
14:08One by Yauri Guzart, and then Uri back to his goalkeeper.
14:27Up he goes towards Sanavik, beaten in the air by Maguire,
14:30very aggressive from the Manchester United centre-back.
14:32Oscar Di Marcos, the captain, one of the changes coming for Athletic Club,
14:39and they're going to send on Prados as well.
14:43In the meantime, here's Berenguer, Di Gallaretta, and then out there to Unai Gomez.
14:53It's going to be a triple change as well, because Ola Barrieta is going to be coming on as well,
15:01so three for United, three for Athletic Club, and here come the Spaniards charging in,
15:05and that's dealt with in there by Manuel Lugate.
15:19This is Yauri Guzart trying to go the long way around Casemiro,
15:22now Lugate can bring United forward, but they've just given the ball back to Athletic Club,
15:26so cheaply at the moment.
15:32Yauri's cross, Jalot coming onto it and made a real mess of his finish.
15:41So we're going to sit through six substitutions now, three for each side.
15:44So first and foremost, Prados is coming up for Di Gallaretta.
15:58And Jalot has come off as well.
16:11And they've also taken off Gerasivelle, Toroska and Di Markov, so that's it.
16:17They've also taken off Gerasibel for Oskar Di Markov, so that's a straight swap.
16:28So the Manchester United changes, Masraoui off.
16:34So you'd suspect that Ahmad's going to go play there, Luke Shaw is on,
16:39Ugarte's gone.
16:47And they're taking off Garnaccio as well.
17:05So Golgi's gone over to the right, wing-back position Shaw to the left,
17:10and Nandes drops in next to Casemiro.
17:14Ahmad's going as a ten.
17:18With Mount, it looks like. Positive changes from the manager.
17:23And one interesting arrival on the pitch is Ola Barrieta, who's only 19.
17:41He's making his European debut and he's playing for Athletic Club for the first time this season.
17:46So it's a big moment for him on a big night for the club,
17:51but he's someone that the Athletic Bilbao supporters might be a little bit surprised to see.
17:56So let's see how he settles in.
18:00At the age of 19, sent on with his team needing two goals,
18:04and they've got Manchester United under a bit of pressure.
18:07So Ahmad, who scored at the weekend, and he's immediately involved,
18:15and he's trying to get Manchester United going, and he's charging in.
18:19Saw him score a goal from just about that same spot against Southampton earlier in the season,
18:24the change again.
18:25But positive already, the changes.
18:27Good start.
18:29Dole going the right with a little back heel.
18:32Manchester United give the ball up again, Casemiro in to try and win it.
18:36Played out there by Prados, here's Unai Gomez.
18:41All the barriettes are involved for the first time since coming on,
18:44but he's going to come back for the earlier foul.
18:46It's the kind of run and the kind of involvement that we saw from Ahmad that we saw so often prior to his injury.
18:51He really was in top form and playing so well and enjoying his football before the set-back.
18:5526 minutes to go.
18:5626 minutes to go, Manchester United 26 minutes from Bilbao.
19:00Free header right towards the corner, and that wasn't that far away from Nunes.
19:05I'll tell you what.
19:06That was curling towards that back post,
19:07back post.
19:08Back post.
19:09Back post.
19:10Just watch this.
19:11Oh, it's agonisingly close.
19:12Oh, it's agonisingly close.
19:13Unmarked on that back post.
19:14Look, there's two on the back post.
19:15Two on the back post.
19:1626 minutes to go, Manchester United 26 minutes from Bilbao.
19:2026 minutes to go, Manchester United 26 minutes from Bilbao.
19:24Free header right towards the corner, and that wasn't that far away from Nunes.
19:30I'll tell you what, that was curling towards that back post, just watch this.
19:37Oh, it's agonisingly close.
19:40Unmarked on that back post, look, there's two on the back stick.
19:46It's curling, just not enough.
19:48It looks as though Tottenham are going to be in the final, they've scored tonight, Dominic Solanke away from home.
20:03And they've got a 4-1 cushion now on aggregate, away to Bodo Glimpse,
20:09so it looks as though Ange Postacoglu and Tottenham are going to be in the final,
20:13and right now it's going to be an all-English final against Manchester United,
20:17with 25 minutes left here at Old Trafford.
20:28I'm amazed there that he's not given a free kick to Athletic Club,
20:31but there are on the back of St. Abbey.
20:42So Guratheta is now ready.
20:45And Gorka Guratheta.
20:48So this is going to be the fourth change for Athletic Club.
21:02Can't quite get the board set up at the moment, so they'll carry on for now.
21:05Gomez hits it straight at Casimiro, Berenguer then challenged quickly by Shaw,
21:11then he blocks that ball that was on its way to Olivarrieta.
21:14Casimiro to Dorgan.
21:20That's going to be a throw-in to Athletic Club.
21:22So Guratheta for Unai Gomez.
21:30It was certainly a greater goal threat, the player who's coming on.
21:37Seven goals in all competitions this season.
21:39And it's goals they need at this stage.
21:45Here's the club captain, Di Marcos, who scored the last time he was here with Athletic Bilbao against Manchester United.
21:48And that to Hoyland.
21:49Manchester United lose the ball again, and off it goes towards Sanadi.
21:55A bit defending over there from Lindelof.
21:56He's given the ball away, though, to Ola Barrieta.
21:57Bizarre pass, he shoots quickly and drags it wide.
21:58We've got a player down as well here.
21:59A player down as well here.
22:00Here's the club captain.
22:01Here's the club captain, Di Marcos, who scored the last time he was here with Athletic Bilbao
22:02against Manchester United.
22:03And that to Hoyland.
22:04Manchester United lose the ball again, and off it goes towards Sanadi.
22:08A bit defending over there, though, from Lindelof.
22:17He's given the ball away, though, to Ola Barrieta.
22:19Bizarre pass, he shoots quickly and drags it wide.
22:22We've got a player down as well here, Athletic Club.
22:25Lindelof with a strong challenge, we'll see, he just overruns the ball.
22:32Tell you what.
22:36It's a follow-through, catches the player.
22:47No indication at this stage that the video assistant's going to take any action
22:51or look at it.
23:02I mean, they must be so proud of their team tonight,
23:04to be here without the players who were injured and backing Bilbao,
23:09either injured or suspended, but the players who have come in have done really well for them, Robbie.
23:13Yeah, they certainly have.
23:15But to be fair to Manchester United during that first game, they had all their players except for the centre-forward,
23:22the top scorer, and they won the game 3-0.
23:24Maybe that's suit Manchester United with the Williams brothers out wide.
23:27You know, trying to press, gaps opened up, they've been a little bit more compact tonight.
23:32So, you know, United did win in Spain.
23:35You would argue that it was Athletic Club's strongest team without the centre-forward.
23:41There goes Ahmad for Manchester United, and he's come away with a ball as well.
23:50Such a lively player out there for them.
23:52There's Dorgu.
23:53Bruno Fernandes, Shaw just beaten to it by Oscar Di Marcos.
24:00Ola Barrieta couldn't get away.
24:02Here's Lenny Yoro, and now it's with Bruno Fernandes, who says to Luke Shaw,
24:05go and have a run down this side.
24:07Quickly across though, Alvarez.
24:09And he can make the clearance.
24:11Patrick Dawg is down at the moment for Manchester United,
24:18Yoro's got the ball though, here's Ahmad.
24:20Yeah, Bancic was played by the referee.
24:23Lenny Yoro, and Bruno Fernandes,
24:28and that's an important block by the athletic build-out goal-scorer, Yara Guzard.
24:33Yeah, great block.
24:34He just sparked all the Yoro's pass to Diallo, the first,
24:39the first engine should have been better.
24:43Here's the block, it's a great block.
24:47It's just a little passage of play though,
24:49that's got the crowd back into it.
24:51Manchester United still to have a shot on target tonight.
24:55Approaching 70 minutes at Old Trafford,
24:58but if they can defend what they've got,
25:00then that's fine by everybody here, you would suspect.
25:09The ball here for Victor Lindelof to deal with,
25:11and he totally misjudged that.
25:12That seemed to be handball.
25:13They've got to play the advantage with Manchester United in possession,
25:14but he certainly struck the arm of Guratheta.
25:16Here's Prados.
25:18I see Miro has won it back well, that was a good tackle on Yuri.
25:20Bruno Fernandes.
25:21Sure.
25:22Sure.
25:23Well, it's got the right handball.
25:24That's a good tackle on the goal,
25:25and that's just the right handball,
25:26I think they've got the advantage with Manchester United in possession,
25:27but he certainly struck the arm of Guratheta.
25:30Here's Prados.
25:32Here's Prados, I see Miro's won it back well, that was a good tackle on Uri.
25:43Bruno Fernandes.
25:46Shaw, managed to miss everybody in there.
25:54Manchester United keep the ball there with Lunderland.
25:57Old Trafford, full of noise, that man away from Berenguer, pulls it back, Mason now!
26:05Didn't get anything on it like he needed to.
26:08Here's Joram.
26:13Lovely turn by...
26:27Look at the smile on the face of Mason Mount.
26:42Is that the goal to send Manchester United to Bilbao for the Europa League final?
26:47He's had such a difficult time at this club, so many injury problems that he's come up big when Manchester United needed him.
26:56And with 18 minutes left, they can see the final.
27:00It's Manchester United won, Athletic Club won, the aggregate lead is wider, and that's a wonderful moment for Mason Mount.
27:08It's brilliant from Jorl, that little pass there, the little drive turn.
27:14He takes it, he knows what he wants to do, he wants to do that drive turn to set it onto his right foot.
27:20It's a brilliant finish, he guides it in.
27:23The substitutes come by, we said be proactive, the manager has been.
27:27And Mason Mount, that's the goal that will take Manchester United to Bilbao.
27:33The substitutes have done it for Manchester United.
27:37What a finish.
27:38What a noise inside Old Trafford.
27:41Ruben Averin, well done.
27:43Call from his Mason Mount at half-time.
27:46And he's delivered.
27:48Well, I'm so pleased for him.
27:53Because he left Chelsea as an England player, he's had injuries, he's had problems.
27:59Hasn't been irregular on the side for various reasons, but when they needed him, Mason Mount scores.
28:06And that young fellow won't forget that moment.
28:08Old Trafford absolutely erupted.
28:10And that's such an important goal, not just for Manchester United,
28:15but you feel for Mason Mount as a Manchester United player.
28:19But there he is with a challenge.
28:24But the game needed it, they had no control.
28:27I said at half-time, drop Fernandes back one, bring on Mount.
28:31You know, Ahmad's been brilliant on the right hand side.
28:36In it goes, that was a chance, wasn't it?
28:38And flashing in, Guritheta was the player who reached it.
28:42That's the chance, it was a big chance as well.
28:53But Mason Mount, it's a wonderful goal, Barrett.
28:55Absolutely.
28:56Oh, he's smiling tonight, so is he.
29:01Scoring against Brentford at the weekend, but what he's got tonight means so much more to everybody here.
29:13Do you know what, Darren?
29:14That reminded me, remember Makeda's goal from Manchester United against Aston Villa?
29:18Very similar goal, that was a big goal at the time.
29:21Well, that one from Mason Mount was even bigger.
29:24Well, we're going to get an all-English Europa League final.
29:30It's going to be Manchester United against Tottenham.
29:32A salvation game for both of them.
29:37But it hasn't been without a scare here tonight for Manchester United,
29:41and the Athletic Club deserve a lot of credit for that.
29:44There's 15 minutes to go, and I think everybody inside Old Trafford knows now
29:50that Manchester United are going to the final.
29:52Incredible noise inside Old Trafford, Dan, listen, you've been here numerous times,
30:02you know, as a commentator, and before the game, the fireworks, the atmosphere,
30:07and you could just see the crowd lifted Manchester United in this second half.
30:12They've been magnificent.
30:13Even the stewards are involved.
30:17There's Sir Alex.
30:20There's Sir Alex.
30:22He's experienced big nights like this in the past, more than you could begin to imagine.
30:28He was in Paris last night, wasn't he, for the semi-final between PSG and Arsenal.
30:33He still maintains his undying love for this game.
30:36And he's got this special relationship with this club that he's such a gigantic part of.
30:42And he'll have a tingle, won't he, sat watching this and listening to this.
30:45Yeah, magnificent atmosphere.
30:47Look at the crowd.
30:48It's going to be a Spurs-Matches United final in a wonderful stadium.
30:54We were there, you know, in the first leg.
30:57The atmosphere will be incredible.
31:11Mason Mounts, Lenny Yoro.
31:13Mounts on to Hoyland, and now Bruno Fernandes, and now the pressure's off.
31:18They're passing it with a lot more authority, aren't they?
31:20Yeah, they're playing with their freedom.
31:22They know they're going to be in the final.
31:28But the changes have worked.
31:30You know, it was a poor start to the second half,
31:32and it's good to see a manager being proactive instead of reactive.
31:36They were good changes.
31:37But you can see what changes were needed.
31:44Right by Lindelof, Sanadi with the shot, that's blocked, and now Dorku's got it.
31:49And it's all about the clock now for Manchester United,
31:52every tick of it is a positive one for them,
31:54and it takes them that little step closer built out.
31:59It'd be nice to go and win the game, though, Darren, wouldn't it?
32:03Here's Berenguer.
32:04Mason Mount's been informed in everything since coming on.
32:17And when you think back down the years, Robbie,
32:18how often in a big moment has a Manchester United player wearing number seven
32:22stepped up and been big for them?
32:26Bruno Fernandes.
32:30They're failing for a foul there.
32:34As Dorku went charging into the box.
32:36Casemiro's just got to be careful, he's on a yellow card,
32:38he's making challenges, just be careful.
32:46That'll be afraid get given by the assistant to Manchester United.
32:50Yes, he just leaves his leg out there.
33:06I think Berenguer got one there as well.
33:08He's complaining about the challenge on Mount earlier.
33:20Oh, there's Ruben Amerim, who's going to send Harry Amas on,
33:23but he's heading into his first major European final as a manager.
33:26He lost the Europa League final with Benfica as a player in 2014,
33:30but he's gearing up for his biggest night as a manager in Bilbao in a fortnight's time.
33:38And this has been his competition.
33:40They've had no kind of form in the Premier League,
33:42but they've been good in the Europa League.
33:44And if they can lift that trophy and get into the Champions League,
33:47then a lot of what's gone on this season will be put to one side.
33:51There's confirmation of the Nunes yellow card along with Berenguer
33:56as we move towards the last 11 minutes at Old Trafford.
34:07Free kick taken by Fernandes across the limit!
34:17And as the crowd was singing, Casemiro put it in the net.
34:20What did he do?
34:21He glanced it straight into the back of the net.
34:23And it's destination Bilbao for Manchester United.
34:30Perfect timing, symmetry, the ball into the box, Casemiro.
34:36Some people were saying he was finished at this football club.
34:41Yeah, you can see,
34:43he's got another goal.
34:48That little run across the near post.
34:50The lovely little glance, did it come off his shoulder?
34:52We'll see on this replay.
34:53It's off his shoulder.
34:54Into the fire court.
34:55It doesn't matter what it comes off.
34:562-1.
34:57Bill Bao, he's up.
34:58He's up.
34:59He's up.
35:00He's up.
35:01He's up.
35:02He's up.
35:03He's up.
35:04He's up.
35:05He's up.
35:06He's up.
35:07He's up.
35:08He's up.
35:09He's up.
35:10He's up.
35:11He's up.
35:12Here they come, well they're going to check it but it's not a certainty at the moment,
35:16the crowd celebrations.
35:23Hadn't scored a Europa League goal until the first leg and now he's got one in both legs
35:28in the semi-final, Manchester United are making changes and Casemiro's going to come off
35:33for Kobi Maynou and they're going to replace Victor Lindelof with Harry Amas as well.
35:42The check's complete, the goal stands, Manchester United 2-1 up on the night, 5-1 on aggregate,
35:51doubts, what doubts Rodney.
35:53Yeah, there was a nervousness, you've got to say the crowd have been magnificent, Casemiro,
35:59he's been questioned, a massive hug for the manager, a goal in the first game, another goal tonight.
36:07Let's just make the point, if you're a Manchester United player it's almost like you've got
36:12the responsibility to make nights like this nervous, they don't do anything easy do they here?
36:17Oh, what a campaign this has been, another assist for Bruno Fernandes,
36:20the only unbeaten side in the competition, Spurs in the final.
36:27You know, it's amazing to think the two teams, 15th and 16th in the Premier League,
36:33are going to compete in the final.
36:34Some people will say paper's over the cracks of their league form, but who cares?
36:39One of those teams have got a chance to play in the Champions League.
36:43Well, it's certainly vital to what they want to do next, because the Champions League club,
36:47whether you're Manchester United or Tottenham, you can attract a different type of player.
36:51Here's Ahmad, it looks as though Manchester United will avoid defeat tonight,
36:56if they do they're going to extend their unbeaten run in the competition to 14 games,
37:00which will be their second longest run in European games in club history.
37:04It just shows how quickly things can change, 71 minutes, there were nerves all over the place,
37:24with Athletic Bilbao asking questions, 72, Mason Mount had scored and then eight minutes later
37:29it's academic, because Casimiro scored for the second successive match, both legs of the semi-final,
37:36and Manchester United's league now is 5-1 on aggregate.
37:39But you know, it's nice to see the manager being proactive in the substitutions, Darren,
37:44lots of managers are reactive, listen, they were obvious changes,
37:48I think a lot of people sitting at home watching this could have been saying the same thing,
37:52but it's when you're in that technical area, and trust me, you have to make big decisions,
37:57they were obvious ones, but he's made them, and those changes have helped Manchester United win the game.
38:06What a turn, that adds away.
38:12Mason Mount, what a flick, can he finish it spectacularly? No he can't, what a goal that would have been.
38:19Oh, Mason Mount, one of the best 20 minutes he's ever had.
38:24It's astonishing really, isn't it?
38:27What a performance he's given since coming on.
38:33Came onto the pitch after 62 minutes, and it's the first time really that he's written himself a chapter at this football club.
38:45Patrick Dorgue.
38:46Everybody wants a goal now, don't they?
38:50Yeah, you can enjoy it, the Ole's from the crowd, playing with their freedom, little back heels, one touch play,
38:55pressing the ball, winning it back high.
38:57There was a lot of time tonight where nobody in red wanted the ball, now they all want a goal.
39:02They're not going to get free kick there, though.
39:03The goalkeeper, by the way, Andre Onana is the only player involved tonight who links this team to the last Manchester United team to win a European Trophy.
39:17He was a goal for Ajax that night, going to be a goal for Manchester United in a fortnight.
39:23And the San Manez is going to be absolutely bouncing.
39:26Manchester United against Tottenham.
39:31What a night that's going to be.
39:36Luke Shaw.
39:37Manchester United are a little bit more than five minutes away.
39:43Look at Leni Oro striding forward.
39:48Dorgue.
39:49Amat.
39:50Pulls it through!
39:51Hoyland!
40:04Why don't get the selfie for posterity, because Rasmus Hoyland has just scored in the European semi-final for Manchester United.
40:12And look at them now, smiles everywhere, no sign of nerves.
40:16And that's as important a goal as the one that Mason Mount got.
40:21He's had a good campaign, certainly the early stages of the Europa League were good for Rasmus Hoyland,
40:26but the goals have dried up.
40:28And even though it doesn't look like it, his manager's going to be delighted for him.
40:32I'd be a bit more cheerful if I was the manager.
40:35Your centre-four's got a goal, your substitutes have done unbelievably well on the part.
40:40Amat does brilliantly well.
40:42He just cushioned it into there, he couldn't miss.
40:46It's brilliant play.
40:49And there, you can see what it means to him.
40:553-1, Hoyland on the score sheet.
40:59Brilliant night for Manchester United.
41:05Do you know what I say in Rasmus Hoyland's defence?
41:08He doesn't get many of those.
41:09It's not as if he misses loads of chances, they don't generate many for him.
41:13Certainly tap-ins like that, and number nines, love goals like that.
41:16He got one at Bournemouth, didn't he? Very similar.
41:18You know, so, you know, in the first game in Bilbao he done well.
41:24Tonight he scored, but his link-up play at times has been good.
41:27Sometimes he wants to fight the centre-half too much and forgets where the ball is,
41:32you know, and he gets caught.
41:34But on the whole tonight, it's been another good performance from Hoyland.
41:37I mean, what a journey it's been in the competition.
41:39I mean, they were fired in the group stage,
41:41but then there were rocky moments against Real Sociedad.
41:46It was an absolute up-and-downer against Lyon.
41:50And then we've got this tonight, of course, they played Rangers in the group,
41:55which was a big night.
41:58When you think about the journey they've been on,
42:00and it's so important to so many people that Manchester United get to a Europa League final,
42:06none more so than the manager.
42:08Yeah, well, to follow up all the way through as a cold commentator,
42:12we're missing Real tonight, we all wish Real gets better soon.
42:16You know, we've missed him on the gantry this evening,
42:19I'm sure his emotions would have been up there.
42:22Speak for yourself, I whiplash the last time he was here.
42:26But it's a good night for Manchester United.
42:28One more huge game to come, it's been great following the journey.
42:35You know, and up here the emotion takes over at times,
42:38but that's what football's about, it's about emotion.
42:42And it's been a wonderful journey, there's one more hurdle to go,
42:45and it's going to be Spurs, what a final that could be, Darren.
42:48Two teams, poor in the Premier League, terrible in the Premier League,
42:53but with a chance to get Champions League football.
42:58Two teams.
43:00And we've got the Giro d'Italia, the big cycling race every stage live starts tomorrow,
43:26midday TNT Sports 3, and we've got every match live from Roland Garros,
43:31the French Open tennis starts on Sunday the 25th of May, so loads to get through,
43:37some big sport on the way, and of course the Europa League final on Wednesday the 21st of May,
43:42half past six, it's not official, but it's going to be Manchester United against Tottenham Hotspur,
43:49of course we've got the Champions League final, the Conference League final,
43:52final day of the Premier League season, really is building to a wonderful
43:56climax on TNT Sports and Discovery Plus.
44:03Final minute.
44:22One thing we should say, Robbie, that because he's got the assist for Casemiro's goal,
44:31he's now top of the assist chart in Europa League history, the Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes,
44:37he's gone past Dries Mertens with 19, so an individual record for Manchester United's skipper,
44:45who's been as good as anybody in the tournament this season.
44:52And this is Harry Amas, as we move towards stoppage time,
44:58Kofi Maynou, Manchester United might fancy another one you know,
45:03Fernandes just denied that.
45:07Two minutes before the celebrations can properly begin.
45:12Manchester United moving into their ninth major European final,
45:19it'll be their first since they lost on penalties to Villarreal in 2021,
45:24and they'll hope to repeat what they did in 2017 in Stockholm when they beat Ajax in the final,
45:30and they'll also hope it could be the kind of springboard, should they win it,
45:34that the Cup winners Cup was in Rotterdam all those years ago when Sir Alex and Manchester United beat Barcelona,
45:40that led to a golden age, and they're going to hope that they can use this competition,
45:46certainly it's something to build on, Mount's got the goal, he's scored it, astonishing!
45:51Look at his face!
46:04And what a way to put the exclamation point on a glorious night for Manchester United in a European semi-final,
46:13a quite outrageous finish from Mason Mount!
46:18I think it's been the best 30 minutes of his career, what a performance from Mason Mount!
46:27The first goal's brilliant, the second's magnificent, I said shoot, you can see it, the goalkeeper,
46:33that touches brilliant, but then he drives it with his left foot, that is unbelievable, we've seen Wayne Rooney do a few times in his career,
46:44but that there, he drives it, the best 30 minutes possibly of his life!
46:51Well that's a big call, not knowing him as well as you do, but I mean he's had a night, I'll give you that,
46:58he's certainly had a half an hour, the best half an hour thing on a football pitch down,
47:02he's never going to forget it, I'll tell you that!
47:06Final few seconds, and they've made a mockery of the pressure that they were under in the end!
47:10The full-time whistle, and Manchester United and Ruben Amarung are heading to Bilbao,
47:25for the Europa League final, and they've got Mason Mount to thank for an outstanding cameo
47:31on the Manchester United bench, two sensational goals,
47:35and Amarung can start planning for Tottenham Hotspur, and a big big night in a fortnight's tie,
47:42Casemiro scored again, Rasmus Hoyland got himself the goal, but Mason Mount's going to make the headlines!
