00:00How's it going? It's going really good. It's been crazy. We've been here for like three days now, and it's been so much fun.
00:05We've kind of run back and forth between Frisco and Fort Worth for the Jelly Roll show, which was crazy.
00:11I need to know everything about that show. I was going to say more, but more isn't even enough. Tell me.
00:15It was chaotic in the best way, which is kind of how Jelly always rolls, but it was fun.
00:20Like what you did there.
00:22Oh, I didn't even realize I did that. Thank you.
00:24It hit me.
00:24I didn't even know it. It was cool. I played a show for the ACM kickoff party and then hopped in a car and went straight to, like literally from stage into the car.
00:33I went there. I get a call in the car on the way there, five minutes there from Drew Baldrige saying, hey, we're going to sing Friends in Little Places.
00:40You ready? And I'm like, sure. So very chaotic, very fun. Post Malone showed up. Jesse Murph.
00:46I mean, it was just a really fun night of Friends for sure.
00:48Yeah, it's about fun night of Friends. Joe Jonas. I think that is so cool. The Joe Bros.
00:52Thank you. So tell me how that came together and what it was like to work with Joe.
00:55Yeah, Joe is incredible. He's incredible. Actually, funny enough, I asked him if he had been in country or done country before.
01:01His dad was a country artist. I don't know if you guys knew that.
01:03I don't think I knew that.
01:04Yeah, I learned that too. And so he's kind of been around country for a while, but it was just so cool to get to work with him.
01:10And he is one of those guys who will just make it happen.
01:13He flew overnight from Amsterdam to come perform with me in Nashville.
01:18That means so much.
01:19Yeah, he's amazing. And the whole family is amazing. I was totally not fangirling at all when we were doing the song.
01:24We all would have been fangirling, girl. It's okay.
01:27Yeah, he's just so great. He's so different.
01:28So we were talking earlier, you know, a lot of people are getting into country music now, which is really exciting.
01:32Other than Joe, who is someone else that you would love to see dip a toe into country?
01:37Ooh.
01:39That's a great question.
01:41That's hard.
01:41I feel like I'd love to see somebody super not expected.
01:45Like, I mean, well, the obvious answer is like a Sabrina Carpenter.
01:49I think she would kill it.
01:50Slim Pickens kind of ordered that.
01:52She would, though.
01:53Yeah, even Please, Please, Please has some tang in there.
01:56With the Dolly feature that she did with that too.
01:58So I think she's kind of already dabbling into the world.
02:01But I think she...
02:02Come on in.
02:02Yeah, and Tate McRae with the Morgan Wallen collab too.
02:04So I think there's a lot of really, really great people already kind of coming in.
02:08But I've got to think on that one.
02:10Now I don't know.
02:10Get back to us.
02:11Aren't you going to be jumping on tour with Cain Brown?
02:13I am, yeah.
02:13Okay, so tell me about that.
02:14Actually, tomorrow we fly to Grand Rapids for shows.
02:16Yeah, we have two shows in Grand Rapids with Cain tomorrow.
02:18But we've started the tour with him a little bit.
02:20We played Bridgestone in Nashville.
02:22And he's just so fun.
02:24His whole tour is so incredible.
02:25And I get to go out with him every night and do a song.
02:28And they're just...
02:28It's been so much fun getting to watch him and be a part of that tour, for sure.
02:32Well, thanks so much for hanging out with us.
02:34Thanks, guys.
02:34Go take more beautiful pictures and be epic on the carpet.
02:37Yeah, see how that bird for us.
02:37That's an amazing thing.
02:38Thank you so much.
