00:00When the election is over after all the excitement the real contest is not the
00:29PAP versus the opposition. It is Singapore versus the world.
00:52Each general election boils down to simply this
00:58Who do I trust more?
01:00Are we ready to reset?
01:05Are we ready to rethink?
01:10Are we ready to renew?
01:14I may be new to this town, but I'm no stranger to crisis.
01:19I am young King Yong.
01:25I have a house, a place that is not a good place.
01:39But if I'm tired, I will feel like it.
01:48We need a more balanced political system, not where the PAP controls 90% of the seats with only 60% of the vote.
02:03My name is Shi Soon Juwan. I am and will always be a proud Singaporean.
02:10SDP's proposal, they don't have a snowball chance of contributing to a thriving Singapore.
02:17I'm not sure whether he's referring to a snowball in hell or a snowball in Greenland.
02:24We don't want to be told that the sky is white when we see it is blue.

03:38Our gang must remain the beacon of democracy in Singapore.
03:44If we really value young people,
03:46we need to respect their time,
03:49respect their efforts,
03:50and respect their dreams.
03:52It doesn't matter what the colour of our scheme is,
03:54or which political party we represent.
03:57At the end of the day,
03:58we all bleed red,
04:00and we all must have a mutual respect and understanding.
04:05Politics is about people.
04:08It's about you.
04:09It's about dignity,
04:12fairness,
04:12and the hope that tomorrow can just be a little bit better than today.
