Transcript
00:00It has been a stormy week across the south here in Texas primarily where we've been chasing for the last couple of days.
00:06Let us here to the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex early today after storms awakened us in Wichita Falls.
00:12We attempted to follow the storms into the Dallas-Fort Worth area, but traffic, road networks and speed of storms prevented us from getting back out ahead of it.
00:20Did cause some issues in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
00:23We did have several roads that were closed due to some flooding and accidents.
00:27We also had tens of thousands of folks knocked without power as those storms rolled through earlier.
00:31This is a culmination of what has been a very stormy last couple of days.
00:35We've been tracking storms pretty much since the weekend.
00:37We saw really heavy storms in Texas yesterday.
00:40We tracked those hailers across the central and northern Texas areas.
00:44Here in Benjamin we saw a pretty significant storm with some of the most green hue of clouds I have ever seen on a storm.
00:51Today kind of wraps up this particular chase stint.
00:54I'm going to start to work my way back home taking the scenic southern route through the Texas Panhandle on Thursday
01:00as there is a slight potential for some storms in route.
01:03Nothing significant expected out of that, but storms I will take a look at as I make my way back to Colorado getting home on Friday.
