00:00One of the sadnesses about the lack of politicians being as clear as some on this issue is that a lot of trans people have been given expectations which have now been clear that could not be met, could not be met under the law.
00:15And that's one of the reasons why the Prime Minister should really reflect on his points of view because he's created a lot of anxiety where there needs to have been if he'd been clear from the start.
00:27But I do think it's important for the government now to look at these issues in more details and it's wrong for them to say well suddenly we can just draw a line under it because there are still many anxieties that people have.
00:38But let's be clear that what the Supreme Court ruling has said is what has been clear for many people from the start which is that your definition of a woman is based on biological sex and now what we need to find is a place of comfort and safety and protection for trans people.
