00:00What do we got?
00:02Okay, let's start with basketball, where the Knicks lost to the Lakers in overtime last night.
00:08129-123.
00:09It's a good game, back and forth, but Knicks couldn't just, they just couldn't close L.A. out.
00:15And LeBron James was back from a slight knee injury to record a triple-double.
00:19LeBron had 28 points, 10 rebounds, 11 assists in the game,
00:23as LeBron is now just 89 points away from breaking Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's all-time points record.
00:32Wow, the big man.
00:33The number one record in the NBA.
00:36That's crazy, man.
00:37He's going to get there probably in the next four games, I would think.
00:41How many more years do you think he has under his belt, Dave?
00:44I think he's got three or four more years, because he's still playing great.
00:48He's going to shatter that, isn't he?
00:49He's still playing great.
00:50And some people point to Tom Brady and say maybe LeBron wants to pull a Brady
00:54and just never stop playing, because it's like these guys can actually play
00:58in their early 40s.
01:00When we were kids, athletes in their early 40s were done.
01:04Like, you know, that was it.
01:06Well, that was the Fettiman talking, I think.
01:07How many seasons is LeBron in already?
01:09Like, how many years has he been playing?
01:10About 20.
01:12Wow.
01:12Well, he skipped college, don't forget.
01:14He went straight from high school to the NBA, which a few people have done.
01:19Kobe Bryant, Kevin Garnett, I should say.
01:23Not Durant.
01:24But good for LeBron.
01:2589 points away from breaking Kareem's record.
01:28So that'll be something we definitely keep our eye on.
01:31The Nets and 76ers were inactive this evening.
01:34The Nets take on the Celtics in Boston.
01:36And the Sixers go against the Magic in Philly.
01:41Hockey, Devils, Rangers, Flyers all off yesterday.
01:43As the NHL gets ready for the upcoming All-Star weekend.
01:48That takes place on Saturday.
01:49Football Super Bowl winning coach Sean Payton, formerly of the Saints, has taken a job with
01:55the Denver Broncos.
01:57Oh, no way, really.
01:57Yeah, the Broncos are having to give the Saints a couple of draft picks to get Payton, since
02:02technically he was still under contract to New Orleans.
02:05He, of course, retired as a Saints coach last year.
02:10But it's a big deal.
02:12Sean Payton was regarded as the best coach out there.
02:15The best guy that one of these teams can get.
02:17I would have kicked my Jets coach out for him, for sure.
02:21Yeah, I mean, this is a good grab by the Broncos.
02:24John Elway does it again.
02:26And finally, baseball reliever Chad Green, good arm out of the bullpen, is leaving the Yankees
02:31and joining a division rival in the Toronto Blue Jays.
02:34Green, a free agent, accepted a two-year deal with Toronto.
02:38That's a big loss for the Yankees.
02:40He was considered to come back and be their setup man, even a potential closer with the
02:47Yankees giving Aroldis Chapman the boot.
02:49So, wow, Chad Green going to the Blue Jays.
02:52That's your quick look at sports.
