03:05park service is planning on keeping that boat launch at hemmonway harbor uh open until at least
03:09the spring if you don't know the boat launches there that's the one right at the entrance so you
03:13know when you turn into lake mead recreation area right off the highway there boom that's the boat launch
03:20that they're talking about there are six boat launches that's the last one that's open
03:26and they said there's a magic number of 1037 feet and if the water drops below that they don't know
03:33what may happen they have to continue extending the boat ramp down with concrete stuff right so if it
03:40goes lower than 1037 which they think it could in the spring and there's a maybe a potential they
03:46close that boat launch and then there's maybe a potential that there's no legal way to get your
03:50boat into the water at lake mead yeah that's great again i i think i told the story before
03:57that it was probably 10 years ago we went to lake mead and it was already significantly lower than it
04:03should be yeah and it ate my my shoes when i was walking like because it's like yeah because it was
04:11already so far that was 10 years ago yeah so man won't catch me there for sure you will not catch me
