01:14when they had gone for the tracking in a place called Vaisarn.
01:18It is a very, very beautiful valley in Pahlgaam, which is the most famous tourist destination in the valley, in Kishmina.
01:27And these people have gone to that beautiful valley, Vaisarn valley,
01:31but the terror task was actually shadow.
01:34And they targeted these innocent tourists.
01:37And a senior police officer, I spoke to them, they received a call.
01:40And then they rushed the forces, because this area is not connected with the road.
01:47So they have rushed the troops on the horseback.
01:51So it is something which is very, very disturbing, very worrying.
01:56At a time when we see,
01:58Kashmir was witnessing the lowest footprint of this terrorist
02:02and the highest footprint of tourists.
02:04And now people were talking about tourism, not terrorism.
02:07And we had seen a terror of militancy has shifted from the valley to Jammu.
02:12But clearly it is right from Burthwa up to now, there's Kishtawar.
02:16And then these, you know, this now Pahlgaam,
02:21such a horrible incident happening there where innocent people,
02:24innocent tourists have been targeted.
02:27Medical teams have rushed there.
02:29They are evacuating the tourists to a hospital.
02:31As you can see, individuals, ambulance is rushing.
02:34But evacuating tourists from that area is just not easy.
02:38So the terrorists had chosen this target very, you know,
02:42brazenly because what police officer told me
02:46that they were in the camouflage
02:48and they were heavy firing on them.
02:51So it is something which has happened on a day
02:53when a U.S. vice president is India.
02:57And we have seen in the past also
02:59that whenever there has been some high-profile visit to India,
03:02there were terror attacks on innocent people.
03:05You remember when Bill Clinton was in India,
03:08many people with colonists,
03:10Sikhs were killed in Chhati Sankora,
03:14in Anathana district.
03:16And today we see when U.S. vice president is in India,
03:20there's a horrible terror attack.
03:22And when Prime Minister Modi has gone to the United States,
03:25this Saudi Arabia for this official visit,
03:28so there's this horrible terror attack.
03:30Recently, Home Minister Amit Shah visited Jammu and Kashmir.
03:34He reviewed the security situation.
03:36And our security force go all out against those militants
03:40who are carrying out attacks in Jammu.
03:41because Jammu has become the big, big terror site
03:45or the attack site for the terrorists.
03:48And this is a vast area where the forests have been,
03:52you know, this being used by terrorists in Jammu region.
03:56But nobody had thought that they would target innocent tourists
04:00in a place called Pahalgam.
04:03And Pahalgam has another very significant,
04:05which is that this is the base camp for the Amarnath Yatra
04:10in the next two months.
04:12Amarnath Yatra is also starting.
04:15And Pahalgam is the base camp for the Yatra
04:18that also shows the security concerns
04:20and how terrorists have made their, you know,
04:23presence in this area,
04:25which is normally highly sanitized
04:28and which is seen as the, you know, very peaceful region.
04:31As we've seen, security force have been talking about
04:35talking about that they have eliminated militancy in the valley.
04:41But this attack is a grim reminder
04:43that how ugly, terror can really just ugly and innocent tourists
04:48can be targeted.
