01:29You know, everyone is uber loyal to Trump.
01:32That I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States.
01:36Against all enemies, foreign and domestic.
01:39That I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same.

01:46In his first term, he appointed Jeff Sessions, a longtime Alabama senator, as attorney general.
01:56And whenever you think of Sessions, at one point he decided to appoint a special counsel, essentially.
02:03Independent counsel to investigate Trump's Russia ties in the 2016 campaign.
02:09Well, you know, Trump said, no more of that.
02:12I'm not playing around with that anymore.
02:14I'm not going to have any investigations.
02:16I'm going to have complete control.
02:18And not only that, but people who oppose me or who have opposed me in the past, I'm going to target them.
02:25Through the vast power of federal spending and federal law.
02:31This executive order will suspend security clearances and access to certain federal resources for that law firm.
02:39You know, they've had four years to prepare.
02:41So, you know, Trump didn't think he was going to win in 2016.
02:46And I don't think the people around him thought they were going to win.
02:49I don't think they were very prepared.
02:50Now they're very prepared.
02:52There are South Com commander ships, F-18s, troops.
02:56We're doing again what we should have done many years ago.
03:02Project 2025, I think, has proved to be fairly influential as a blueprint.
03:07And I think we're seeing it now play out in the administration.
03:15In particular, the idea of targeting the federal bureaucracy, dismantling the federal bureaucracy.
03:24And not just the bureaucracy writ large, but particular institutions.
03:31USAID, sort of going after foreign aid, Department of Education.
03:35You know, areas of the government that Trump and his supporters view as hostile to him, hostile to the movement.
03:49This is the chainsaw for bureaucracy.
03:57One way to think about the difference between first term and second term is that in his first term, he went to the CIA very early on.
04:16I think it was like a day or two after he was inaugurated.
04:18And he gave a speech at the CIA and he kind of talked about how he was going to, I mean, it was a bizarre speech.
04:27He talked about how he was going to, you know, shake things up and maybe, I don't know, get rid of like a lot of these, you know, intelligence officers.
04:35And but it never really happened.
04:37And, you know, this time, though, it's a different story.
04:39Politically, I think Trump was more cautious in some ways.
04:58I mean, he would back off a little bit more frequently in the first term when he came under political pressure.
05:06We saw a little bit of that when he when he, you know, put a 90 day pause on these recent tariffs.
05:11But, you know, I think that they're more emboldened, more extreme, more determined to enact the agenda that they had long wanted to enact.
05:26We will fight day and night to protect our human rights.
